We had 3nights at Grand Mercure Atrium Bangkok. We stayed mainly the price factor. Room We had looked down to pool area and to the back of the construction of a new hospital being built. We were offered if we wanted to move to other side of hotel but decided not to as couldn't really hear the noise. Was a bit noisy trying to relax down at the pool though but remembering not hotels fault. Restaurant buffet breakfast a bit of a let down as mainly aimed towards the Indian market. Staff around the hotel were all very nice and helpful. Big thank you to reception Mr Tuan you were very helpful during our stay. Also to the barmen at pool bar Mr Kan & Mr Bear did a great job looking after us while at the pool area.. Thank you. The Executive Lounge staff were great and what was on offer was nice. Overall, considering the room rate, the stay was acceptable. However, I was quite disappointed by several service oversights, extra charges, and maintenance issues. ​Here are the details of my stay: ​The Positives: ​I was kindly upgraded to a Corner Room. Even though the room is a bit dated and due for a renovation, it was spacious and comfortable. ​Areas for Improvement & Feedback: ​Unnecessary Extra Charge for Child: I stayed with my young child, and we shared the existing bed as a family. However, the hotel charged an additional 500 THB for an extra bed, which was unnecessary for us and we did not end up using it. ​Accor Member & Welcome Amenities: As an Accor member, I did not receive any welcome amenities. When I inquired, the staff claimed someone knocked on the door with no answer and left a note, but in reality, no one came, and no note was left. ​Staff Service & Lack of Information: When I mentioned to the front desk that this was my first time staying here, the staff simply said thank you without offering any introduction or assistance. They merely handed me a sheet listing the facilities, without even informing me where I could redeem my Welcome Drink. ​Birthday Celebration: I noted in advance that we were celebrating a birthday, but nothing was prepared or acknowledged upon arrival. ​Most importantly, the Bathroom Safety: The floor tile in the shower area is broken, which is quite dangerous while showering as it requires stepping directly on the damaged surface. This needs urgent repair for safety. ​I hope this feedback helps management improve guest services and room maintenance for future guests.

A Warm and Convenient Stay I was very impressed by the warm and welcoming staff throughout my stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel genuinely comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre, making it easy to get around. The nearest MRT station, Phetchaburi, is around a 500-metre walk, which is still quite manageable while keeping the hotel in a relatively convenient location. The breakfast buffet offered a good range of international choices, including Indian vegetarian options, which I particularly appreciated. The pool bar area was also a lovely, cozy spot to relax. The overall experience was very smooth, from booking to check-in and check-out. As an Accor ALL member, I also naturally preferred staying here, and the hotel delivered a pleasant experience that made me happy with that choice. Overall, a welcoming, comfortable, and convenient hotel that I would be happy to stay at again.

First of all, the location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is situated in a prime area that makes getting around incredibly convenient, which was a huge plus for our travel itinerary. The hospitality and customer service here are truly top-notch. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to providing excellent service throughout our stay. The room itself was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with all the essential amenities a traveler could possibly need. We did notice a minor issue with the water draining a bit slowly in the shower room, but honestly, this is a common quirk you can experience almost anywhere, and it didn't negatively impact our stay at all. The absolute highlight of our visit, however, was the breakfast experience, specifically thanks to a wonderful staff member named Freeze. Her service at the breakfast area was simply outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised to find that she speaks fluent Korean, and she went above and beyond to assist us and make us feel at home. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism were deeply appreciated. I want to extend my special thanks to Freeze for being so helpful and making our mornings so delightful. I would undoubtedly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and it exceeded my expectations. The standout feature is definitely its location. It is situated right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. I could easily walk to several major tourist attractions, popular restaurants, park, within just 5 to 10 minutes. There is also a public transit station just a short walk away, which made traveling to other parts of the city completely hassle-free. As for the room, it was spotlessly clean and remarkably fresh. It was clear that the housekeeping staff pays great attention to detail, as every corner was dust-free, and the bathroom was pristine. The bed was extremely comfortable with high-quality, crisp linens that ensured a great night's sleep after a long day of walking around. Despite being so close to all the hustle and bustle, the room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The overall experience was wonderful, and the combination of an unbeatable location and top-tier cleanliness made it worth every penny. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip and highly recommend it to anyone.
