My husband and I stayed in the Private Pool Villa (Room 405), and it was truly a wonderful experience from the moment we checked in. First of all, we received a very warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist us in many ways throughout our stay. We would like to thank the entire team for their excellent teamwork and outstanding service attitude, especially Khun Yaya, Am, Khwan, Beet, and Jay. The villa was clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and we did not encounter any issues with cleanliness. Occasionally, there were a few insects or geckos, but this is understandable as the resort is located on a hillside surrounded by nature. The location was exactly what we were looking for peaceful, private, and close to nature, with no disturbance from outside noise. In our opinion, there are only a few resorts in Phuket that can offer this level of privacy and natural surroundings. We also believe that the resort maintains the high standards associated with the Centara brand, comparable to other Centara properties around the world. The breakfast was enjoyable and tasted good. However, the variety of choices was somewhat limited compared to other hotels in the same category. It would also be appreciated if the hot dishes could be kept warmer throughout the breakfast service. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable.

Beautiful, peaceful villas with stunning ocean views—perfect for a relaxing Phuket escape. The spa was amazing and definitely a highlight of the stay. The restaurant served great food, and the happy hour deals were excellent for sunset drinks. Friendly, attentive service throughout. Would happily come back.

I would recommend you never book this hotel. First the shuttle service doesn’t work. You need to wait in 30 degree weather outside your front door for 20+ minutes for them to arrive. If you miss it the front desk lies and sends the shuttle again which doesn’t arrive again. There’s no ac in the room when we checked in the room was 33c which is higher than the temperature outdoors. I would like people to imagine that you’re planning to propose to your girlfriend on top of a mountain but you cannot even leave your hotel. You’re hungry because room service won’t show up with food due to frequent miscommunications, it’s impossible to go to the restaurant by the shuttle which won’t pick you up, you can’t walk because the mountain roads and it’s too hot. You’re just stuck hungry inside your own room with no ac with no ability to leave. If you would like this experience I suggest you book this hotel because frankly it’s awful.

If you’re planning to enjoy Thailand, I would strongly advise reconsidering a stay at Centara Villas Phuket based on my recent experience. I booked a 5-night stay but ended up leaving after just two nights due to multiple issues. From the moment I arrived, the experience was disappointing. I reached the property at 3:00 PM, which is the booked check-in time, yet I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for housekeeping to finish preparing the villa. This set the tone for the rest of the stay. The service throughout was underwhelming. The villa team was neither welcoming nor helpful, which was surprising given Thailand’s reputation for warm hospitality. One of the main concerns was related to breakfast. I had prepaid for breakfast for my entire stay; however, when I requested it to be delivered to my room, I was presented with a bill for both breakfast and room service. When I questioned this, I was told that room service carries extra fees—even though the breakfast itself had already been paid for. Attempts to clarify this with reception were unhelpful, and the matter was not resolved. Another major issue was cleanliness and maintenance. There were lizards inside the bedroom, including on the ceiling, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, the food quality was poor. Lunch and dinner items appeared to be frozen and lacked taste, which is not what you would expect from a resort of this standard. Overall, the combination of poor service, unclear charges, hygiene concerns, and substandard food made the experience disappointing, and I would not recommend this property.
