My family and I just got back from this hotel and I had to write a review . Because I don’t nobody to go through what we went through last week so to start off, it’s nothing like in the pictures. The food is horrible. We got there and got greeted by a young man named Rafa. He was nice, but his job is trying to get you to go to another hotel from Hyatt to Sell you some sort of package you have to pay for monthly and they tell you it’s just to look around at their other hotels but really is to pressure you to buy this packet. They tell you there will be free breakfast which there is but you can’t even enjoy because someone is already questioning you about your life and what you do to sell you this anyways after we Wasted Whole morning, We went back to the hotel and for the whole week the food was horrible. We were told it would be different cuts of meats picaña,filet mignon and there was nothing like that. They also told us there was a seafood restaurant and we tried going there and it was closed. It’s a very inconvenient place. We went to another restaurant called Oceana and they took about a whole hour to serve us ,my son fell asleep and didn’t get to eat. The food quality is very low. If you have gone to five star all inclusive it’s nothing like that. if you are trying to go and eat exotic fruits They don’t have a good selection. The meats are cooked on the same grill, pork chicken, and fish. Please don’t waste your money here. The desserts are nothing special very low quality even in the restaurants.

The facilities also felt old and outdated, and overall maintenance did not seem to be a priority. The hotel itself did not resemble what you would expect from a five-star resort, and the pictures online were somewhat misleading compared to the actual condition of the property. The “private” beach was also covered in seaweed during our stay, which made it less enjoyable to use. Another downside was the in-room amenities. Unlike many other all-inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at, the room only had beer in the refrigerator and no liquor bottles provided. Additionally, the liquor served at the bars seemed very watered down. The resort also advertises a “premium” side, but during our stay it appeared that everyone had access to those areas, which made the upgrade feel misleading. Love this place will definitely be back again. Had the swim out rooms. So nice on hot days to enjoy by yourself. AC cooled rooms off nicely. Showers were nice and big. Rooms clean. House keeping and using the hyatt app to order anything worked smoothly. Staff friendly through out resort. Buffet was nothing special but good when you just want a quick bite. Reasturants where amazing hands down best rib eye steak ever. Always a nice cool ocean breeze going through resort. Beach was good. Hard sand made for easy walking ok by me. Honestly with all the negative reviews I read. I have experienced none of that. Well worth the money.

We recently spent two wonderful weeks at Dreams Aventuras for our wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was enjoyable. A special thank you to our wedding coordinator Fernanda, who was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, organized, attentive to every detail, and made sure our wedding day ran smoothly from start to finish. Having someone so experienced and dedicated allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the celebration. The resort itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The food was also very good, with plenty of variety and consistently enjoyable meals. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. One of the highlights of our trip was the spa. We enjoyed the hydrotherapy experience as well as a couples massage, and both were absolutely wonderful. The spa was peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after our wedding. The staff were professional and made the entire experience feel luxurious and rejuvenating. Our wedding exceeded our expectations, and the two weeks we spent at Dreams Aventuras created memories that will last a lifetime. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone considering a destination wedding or simply looking for a relaxing vacation. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

DO NOT GO PLEASE. It won't be Dreams, would be nightmares. First of all, the staff were wonderful, very helpful, and kind. Shout out to Guillermo, Manuel, the valet staff, and cleaners, and waiters/waitresses. There is a season where sargassum covers the beaches in the Riviera Maya, but of course, the hotel doesn’t tell you that. The peak season is May-August. There are pristine pictures on their website, but this is the actual picture from when I stayed. I didn’t even visit the beach because it was covered in this plant. Immediately upon stepping into the hallways and rooms, there was a smell like mold or just a bad odor. The smell stayed the entire time. I went with my family, and we had three separate rooms. All of the rooms were flooded due to issues with the drains in the showers or issues with the toilets. Their pools in the spa were dirty. I could see the dirty on the edges. The hotel promised various amenities and services. However, the food was mediocre. The buffet restaurants repeated the same food every day. I am a dietitian, and the allergy labels were wrong in some of the places; furthermore, the operations were not keeping the food safe. The cafe was not good at all—it was just instant coffee, powder, or something already prepared. The cafe only had one or two flavors of ice cream, and they ran out of other items. Regarding room service, the staff didn’t know the policy. Some told us that we could get anything 24 hours a day, others said until 10:30 PM, and others said 1:00 AM. As for the restaurants, some were closed on certain days. One day, one of them didn’t have AC, and it was tremendously hot. The facility overall, should not operate. It is too old. We paid for an all-inclusive price, but it’s not worth it. The pictures and the amenities are simply not worth it. I wanted to leave, but I wouldn't receive a refund. It was a nightmare.
