The hotel is gorgeous and really feels luxurious. It's about 45 mins away from Playa Del Carmen and 1 hour from Cancun. So it gives a quiet, secluded feel although there are other hotels nearby and convenience stores too. We had the junior suite and it was spacious, clean and lovely. We were near where they get rid of sargassum so there was a bit of a smell but that's expected at this time of year (July-Aug), and didn't ruin it for us. They made such an effort to clear it so the beach was more accessible. The restaurants served delicious food, couldn't complain at all. There really is something for everyone. Eufrasia made amazing omelettes for breakfast! Make sure to check the app for when they're open as some are closed on certain days. Currently, there's some construction work on the standard rooms but this didn't impact noise levels at all. The preferred pool, for adults only, was mostly quiet with some entertainment (music) on. The family pool was more lively with lots of activities, it was nice to choose between the two. David and Dylan were hilarious and fun, definitely recommend taking part in any activities they lead. The night life was brilliant too, something different each night. There was lots on so if you missed one there was another to go too. Saul was great and made each night lively and fun too. Fernando at the CinCin restaurant went above and beyond to serve us, he was very attentive. The biggest of shout outs to Leopoldo at the preferred pool who was incredible. He was so friendly, giving us information about the hotel and shops around us. He even offered to get chocolate for us that they didn't have at their own shop! He made delicious drinks, even setting them down without us ordering, and was a delight to talk to. Remember to bring everything you need with you or you can take a 5/10 min taxi/uber to a shop nearby as the shop on-site is quite expensive. The geckos and iguanas roaming around were a fun addition too! Overall, the hotel and the staff were amazing, really taking care of your needs and genuinely wanting to make your time there the best. They couldn't have been friendlier and made our honeymoon stay better than we could have hoped for. Would return again 100%.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dreams Jade completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived in Cancun, starting with the Amstar transportation team, we felt taken care of. Once we arrived at Dreams Jade, Roberto and Jimena from Preferred Club/UVC welcomed us in a way we honestly have not experienced at another Dreams resort or hotel. A special recognition has to go to Roberto. His customer service was above and beyond, his attention to detail was incredible, and he truly set a new bar for us when it comes to resort service. Maria at the Preferred bar was amazing too! She always knew how to surprise me with a great drink, and her Malibu drinks were definitely a favorite. 🍹 The food throughout the resort was great and we received excellent service at the restaurants. The kids club was one of the best we have ever experienced. Camila and Litzy were so attentive, there were tons of activities, and our 4- and 7-year-olds never wanted to leave! The entertainment team — Tony, Luis, and Andrea — made the resort so much fun with plenty of activities throughout the day. Alex at the sailboats was wonderful as well and even took some amazing pictures of our family. The only thing we noticed is that some of the rooms are beginning to show their age, but the resort is currently remodeling, which is great to see. Overall, the service, food, activities, and especially the PEOPLE made this vacation incredibly special. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend Dreams Jade! ❤️

I hate playing all-inclusive roulette so we keep coming back to Dreams Jade for that and many more reasons! Pros: the staff is excellent (thank you to Edwin & Jonathan at the breakfast buffet, Al, Leopaldo & Javi at the pool bar, Francisco at the lobby bar, Louis & Rosa at Spice, Andrea, Amara, Saul and all of the entertainment team and countless others who were so kind and made sure our stay was great), restaurants are honestly really tasty (don’t skip Spice!!) and the updated rooms are really beautiful. The pools and grounds are always so clean & the activities are endless. Cons: there is currently some construction going on (Summer 2026) but they did their best to minimize the sting. No way to make reservations (except for hibachi) at restaurants so the waits were kind of long but there was always something to do while we waited. Overall, we’ll continue to come back again & again because of the consistency, cleanliness and, most of all, the amazing staff!

Would not return—this resort is overpriced and not worth it. The resort is small and very overcrowded, with far too many rooms for the amenities. Dinner waits were 1–2 hours every night. Food was average (3/5). It was okay overall—Spice was the best, and the Italian was the worst. The beach looks nice from afar but not up close. It’s full of seaweed and rocks, making it unusable. They had trucks and one worker cleaning it occasionally (not daily), but it wasn’t enough. Rooms were clean and as pictured, but slightly dated. Definitely upgrade to an ocean or pool view—otherwise you may end up facing a swamp-like area due to the resort layout. The pool was nice, but there weren’t enough chairs—all were taken by 6 a.m. Staff and entertainment were good, but overall this is not a luxury resort—just average with a premium price tag. It definitely does not live up to the Dreams brand name.

Its a lower tier all inclusive, so don’t expect bells and whistles. Its a good value for families. For couples I would skip it and choose adults only next time. Its a good value if you pay 200-300 max per night . Rocky beach , lots of sargassum seaweed so nobody was swimming in first week of April . Pool was packed . Restaurants understaffed- poor waiters running around-like crazy to keep up. Staff were very nice and helpful.
