If you’re staying at Dreams Natura Resort in Cancun, you have to stop by the Sports Bar and ask for Julio! He is hands down the best bartender at the resort. He’s friendly, welcoming, and always remembers what you like to drink. His drinks are consistently amazing, and he keeps the atmosphere fun and energetic. Julio goes above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. Great service like his is what makes a vacation even more memorable. If you’re visiting Dreams Natura, do yourself a favor and come see Julio at the Sports Bar—you won’t be disappointed! A huge shoutout to Russel, the poolside server at Dreams Natura Resort! He provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He always remembered our drink orders, checked on us regularly, and made sure we never had to wait for the next round. His attention to detail, friendly attitude, and genuine hospitality made our pool days even more enjoyable. If you’re relaxing by the pool, look for Russel—you’ll be in great hands. A Review from a pregnant mama with food allergies: My hubby and I just got back from our baby moon here in July 2026. Weather wise it was hot but the sea breeze and shade can make it manageable. It's sargassum season though, so don't expect much beach time. The resort I think did a good job at trying to pick it up, but it's just a lot! There's plenty of pools though, so we spent our time there. Location: Only 20 minutes from the airport so not bad. It's in Riviera Maya (south of Cancun) so more secluded than the hotel zone and 35ish minutes from downtown Cancun. Not super convenient if you plan to leave the resort to get around but good if you just want to relax and be away from the party scene! Cleanliness: The grounds were overall well-kept, pools were clean too! We did see a roach and had some issues with sand flies in the evenings (another seasonal issue with the sargassum). There was also some mold growth in the shower incase you're highly sensitive, but you can tell they clean often to try to manage it, it's just really humid. Food: Overall the food was pretty average. There were a lot of variety of restaurants to choose from for dinner which is great. If you're preferred you get access to Bluewater Grill which I really enjoyed. Bourdeux & Hibachi was by far the best dinner! I am Gluten & dairy free. Anytime I checked into a restaurant, buffet or called room service they asked me if I had dietary restrictions which was nice, however, most of the time it didn't feel like they did much with that information save for the dinner restaurants. Hibachi has gluten free soy sauce. They did their best, but they don't have a lot of alternatives, most dishes have one or the other (dairy was by far the hardest to avoid). They have some gluten free bread that you have to request. It is kept separate in the back. Most of my gluten/dairy free options were meat, veggies, & rice. The signs at the buffet and menus had allergen markers, though sometimes they was nothing noted or I couldn't tell how accurate they were so I also double checked with staff. The chips are fried in a shared fryer I learned from my awesome waiter at Bluewater Grill who was VERY attentive which I appreciated. There wasn't a single dessert on property I could have (there were a couple of GF options but not DF). Note to management: A vegan sorbet or gluten free vegan cookie would be a nice start! ;) If you have a kiddo with allergies I feel like this resort really could be hard depending on how picky they are. They have chicken nuggets, pizza, pasta and burgers available for the kiddos at most places. Did not see a gluten free pasta, pizza, pancake or cereal option - though I did not ask. Service: The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We tipped all of our waiters, servers, room service etc. Families: There's tons of families at this resort, it's very kid-friendly. Most of the activities I felt like were tailored toward kiddos. The lazy river and slides are also a lot of fun and they have a shallow pool the younger kids really liked. Floats are allowed so def pack some. There is NOT an adults only pool. Activities: They had beach volleyball and soccer and some little things here and there for the kids. A foam party one of the days and live music pretty much every night! Spa: The spa is very nice! My hubby got a massage and I got a facial. Unfortunately there isn't much options they have for pregnant women. Other things to note: I highly recommend packing your sunscreen, aloe, meds etc. it's worth the cost of the checked bag because the store prices are outrageous. Also bring your own snacks, there's not a lot available at the store on property either.

We spent 10 amazing days here. This was our second time in 2 years. We were preferred and did enjoy seeing kids in the preferred pool. The only downside which I believe happens at all the resorts is having to go down early and reserve poolside chairs. I really wish there was a way to avoid this. I would pay a daily/weekly fee to reserve my chairs. The staff here are amazing! Our favorite restaurant was the Bluewater grill. Getting a sit down breakfast is a real perk for preferred. Marcos, Alexander, Antonio and Victor took such good care of us at the Bleuwater Grill. Some days we ate there 3 times! Pizzas by the pool were another nice touch. They were hot and delicious! Jesus was our server at the preferred pool. He was amazing! He would bring us drinks even without asking! Would also go and get us burgers/hot dogs/quesadillas. We were beyond spoiled!

Roger is the best! He made sure we were taken care of daily at the Preferred Pool. Our room (Preferred Club King Ocean View) was very spacious and comfortable. Very clean room and bathroom. Amenities - steamer, safe, shampoo, body wash and lotion. We also had a large couch sitting area in our room, unobstructed ocean view on balcony with a jacuzzi tub! Housekeeping did an excellent job when they came, floors always mopped and everything picked up (toddler). Beach was white fine sand but June is hot so sargassum naturally was to be expected. Staff did exceptional job with tractor and rakes to keep it as neat and clean as possible. While the beach water was still yucky from the incoming algae, it was still lovely beach air and blue water to look at further out. Missed swimming in the ocean directly but this is the time of year we picked to come, knowing the risk, we wanted whale shark season also. They did fireworks one night, lots of lobby music and karoake at night. Dining was obviously very kiddo friendly, nothing super fancy as the resort is catering towards families with kids. Zipline and water slides were fun. Toddler loves the lazy river. The ceviche at the preferred lunch Blue Water Grill was great. El Pario ceviche and barbacoa was also delicious. Definitely plan ahead when you arrive for your dinner reservations for days upcoming. Take plenty of sunscreen with you. Mangroves nearby are natural occurring and needed for preservation of Mexico’s beauty, yes there can be small crocodiles but if they are spotted, there are always lifeguards on watch to alert you. They do not allow ocean swimming after sunset for this reason. Everyone was so so nice. Kalena and concierge staff was lovely also. Would return but likely in the late fall or very early spring to enjoy the beach more.

Absolutely incredible experience. We loved how friendly the staff was, the Mexican restaurant and French restaurant were so delicious, and the taco station at breakfast buffet was to die for. We had a flight on Sunday at 6 pm and they were so nice to extend our checkout from 12 pm to 3 pm without a charge. Shutout to Natalia the front desk manager, Celestino at the front desk, and Roman the waiter at French restaurant. Great service!!!
