I was here in 2022 and it was amazing and im back again! It's still awesome and good service. I love the room and great view. The food is great especially the drinks, definitely very family-friendly. I wish there was renovations for all the restaurants, but there's only reservations for the hibachi, it's fine but sometimes we have to wait a while to get seated (around 20 minutes). The beach is very nice and not too much seaweed, very nice white sand.

Overall, I had a great stay. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was well-maintained. The room was comfortable, and the overall experience met my expectations. The only downside for me was that, as a cigar smoker, there wasn't a designated outdoor area where I could sit, relax, and enjoy a cigar. Having a comfortable smoking area with seating would have made the stay even better. Other than that, I was very pleased with my visit and would definitely consider staying here again.

We recently stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort as a family of six to celebrate my daughter’s 7th birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our group included three adults and three girls, ages 6, 8, and 13, and there was truly something for everyone. I especially want to give an honorable mention to **Hayden, the Food & Beverage Coordinator; Ricardo, Restaurant Manager; Fernando, Restaurant Manager; and Manuel restaurant. Manager Their hospitality and attention to our family made our stay incredibly special. On our first day, I was a little disoriented and exhausted after a long day of traveling. I happened to run into Hayden, and without hesitation, he personally escorted my family and me to dinner and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. What really impressed me was that his kindness did not stop there. Throughout our entire stay, Hayden continued checking in and making sure our family was enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. That level of service truly stood out. The restaurant management team also went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday memorable. As a mother, seeing people make such an effort to make your child feel celebrated means more than I can put into words. Ricardo, Fernando, Manuel, and the rest of the team made us feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. The kids Club was a HUGE favorite with the children! Having girls ranging from 6 to 13 years old can sometimes make it difficult to find activities that keep everyone entertained, but Dreams did an amazing job. The shows, activities, and entertainment kept the attention of our entire family and gave us plenty to do throughout the resort. The food was great, the drinks were great, the snacks were great, and we especially enjoyed the sit-down restaurants. There were plenty of choices for both the adults and children, and the overall service was excellent. We were only at the resort for four days, and it was absolutely not long enough! We left wishing we had booked a longer stay, which says everything. Great job, Dreams, on putting together such a wonderful staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and welcoming, but Hayden, Ricardo, Fernando, and Manuel truly helped elevate our experience and make my daughter’s birthday trip one our family will remember. We would absolutely return and will gladly recommend Dreams Playa Mujeres to other families looking for an all-inclusive resort with great food, entertainment, activities, and, most importantly, exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Dreams Playa Mujeres, for helping make our little girl’s 7th birthday so special. We will definitely be back and next time, four days won’t be enough!

I recently stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort for a family wedding. While there were several aspects of the resort that I genuinely enjoyed, a few significant issues left me disappointed. First, the positives. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the room, balcony, and overall accommodations. The food throughout the resort was generally very good, room service was reliable, and the bartenders made excellent drinks. The property itself is beautiful and has many qualities that should make for a great vacation experience. Unfortunately, there were also some notable drawbacks. The swimming pools were uncomfortably warm and offered little relief from the Mexican heat. What made this particularly frustrating was that we had access to the neighboring Secrets resort, where the pools were cool, refreshing, and far more enjoyable. The difference was immediately noticeable. More concerning was an experience my family had at Mezes, the Mediterranean restaurant. During a family dinner, one of our relatives told a joke and our table laughed. A staff member quickly approached us and harshly admonished us to be quiet. Later that same evening, other tables were laughing and making similar levels of noise, yet no one approached them. Our group was Black, and the groups that were not addressed were White. Based on what we observed, I was left with the impression that we were treated differently. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistent treatment was difficult to ignore. When we asked to speak with a manager, hoping to discuss the situation, the interaction only added to our frustration. The manager was dismissive of our concerns and appeared annoyed that we had raised them. Rather than listening and attempting to understand our perspective, he rolled his eyes and made us feel as though our concerns were unimportant. I came away with mixed feelings about this resort. The accommodations, food, drinks, and housekeeping were excellent. However, the pool conditions and, more importantly, the way our concerns were handled by restaurant management prevented this from being the positive experience it should have been.

Great place. My family and I had a wonderful time. It wasn't perfect, but still so enjoyable that I don't have a bad thing to say about it. Food was good, drinks were great, not very crowded, plenty of pools, beautiful breeze that really softened the heat. Great time; already want to go back. They had the kids club and teen zone, but my 3 kids/teens had so much fun they barely even used them. The staff were beyond friendly and eager to help. Loved everything about it.
