We had a very pleasant stay here with family. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which made the arrival experience very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, giving enough room for a family stay. One of the highlights was the food. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets had a very good spread with plenty of options, and everything was well organized. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we really had nothing to complain about. A good choice for a relaxed family stay.

We only spent one night here in Kandy. When we arrived at hotel we were greeted with refreshing towels and a fruit drink. The staff were friendly and always smiling. We were kindly upgraded to a room with a hot tub bath. Nice touch. The bedroom was clean and tidy, however there was some mould on the bathroom ceiling. We went for dinner in the À la carte restaurant and it was one of the best dining experience we had for the whole of our trip. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. Although the extortionate taxes on our bill were a bit of a downer, watch out for that. The breakfast which was included in our stay was amazing, plenty of choice and a lovely setting. Overall great experience wish we could have stayed longer.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Earls Regency Kandy. I left a white linen top in the hotel room during my stay yesterday. After realizing this, I immediately contacted the hotel, only to be informed that nothing had been handed over to Lost & Found and they were unable to locate the item. It is very concerning that something as simple as a white top could not be properly accounted for. If a basic clothing item cannot be returned to a guest, it raises serious concerns about how other, more valuable belongings might be handled. Hospitality standards require integrity and accountability from housekeeping teams. For comparison, I have stayed at Ulagalla where they personally called to inform me when I left behind a swimming suit and ensured it was returned. Similarly, at Cinnamon Hotels, a diamond wedding ring left behind by a family member was carefully returned even after checkout. That is the level of professionalism and trust guests expect. Your staff clearly need better training and stronger procedures regarding guest belongings left behind in rooms. Maintaining guest trust is fundamental in hospitality. This experience has left me very disappointed. I truly hope management addresses this issue seriously.

We had a wonderful 2-day stay at the Earl’s Regency Hotel in Kandy. The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is perfect and the views are absolutely stunning. The food was delicious with a wide variety of choices available at every meal, which made dining a real highlight of our stay. We would especially like to say a huge thank you to our waiter, Dilan. He was incredibly attentive, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. He worked very hard and consistently delivered outstanding customer service. We would also like to thank our housekeeper, Ravi. He was very friendly, kept our bedroom spotlessly clean, and delighted us each day with little notes and the most amazing towel animals. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we will definitely be recommending Earl’s Regency to our family and friends.

it was a very good experience overall. the rooms were spacious and comfortable but there was only a little smell but nothing too disturbing. the staff was very nice. the best thing was probably the view which was absolutely spectacular since you can see lots of nature. i’m not very sure about how good the position was since we only stayed one day in the city. breakfast and dinner were alright.
