The view alone was worth it — waking up to the sound of the waves and seeing the ocean right from my room was unreal. The staff were super friendly, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The beach area was well-maintained, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and relaxing. I also loved how close it was to nearby restaurants and activities — everything was convenient. Overall, it was the perfect mix of comfort, scenery, and good service. I’d definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and refreshing getaway by the sea.

We had the most amazing time at The Fortress Resort and Spa Galle in November. The room was very tidy and spacious as were the grounds around the hotel. The pool was also a highlight, especially with the view out to sea. Special mention to the restaurant waiting staff and in particular Samantha who greeted us each night as we sat down for our meal. The waiting staff were knowledgeable, tentative and very professional. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Sri Lanka.
