There’s also restaurants within about 200m of the Taj Bentota Resort and Spa, the tranquil Bentota Ganga is about 1km away and Kande Viharaya Temple, with the huge Buddha statue is about 4km away. Came here with my family in October and it was truly exceptional The view from my balcony, the calming sound of the ocean, the exceptional service and welcoming attitude of the staff came together to deliver a beautiful experience that will be unforgettable for both me and my family. The food tasted delicious, the chef took requests and delivered food that hit right up my alley. 🌟 A special mention to Chef Dalip Singh who went ahead and made the dining area feel like home with his warmth and amazing food. 🌟 The view from the hotel was also truly exceptional especially the sunsets. The beach offered a beautiful mix of view and calmness that I shall remember forever. One improvement would be to improve the seating on the beach but regardless, it was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We had a wonderful 2-day stay at Taj Bentota on the 26th and 27th. The overall atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. ​A special highlight was the Indian food corner—absolutely amazing flavor and authentic taste! The entire staff provided super service from start to finish. We would especially like to mention Sam and Dilan, who went above and beyond to closely assist us and make our stay so memorable. ​If there is one small area for improvement, it would be adding a bit more variety to the buffet spread. However, the exceptional hospitality and relaxing environment made it a truly delightful experience overall. ​Thank you to the entire team at Taj Bentota for a memorable stay!

My wife and I stayed at Taj Bentota on the night of 13th August, and from the moment we arrived, it truly felt like we were coming home. Every smile, every interaction, and every thoughtful gesture reminded us that Taj isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience of genuine care. We must give our deepest thanks to Asiri, whose hospitality is beyond words. You can see instantly that he loves what he does, it’s in the way his face lights up when he greets you, in the way he remembers the little details, and in the pride he takes in making sure every guest feels special. Every time we saw him, our own faces lit up too. The effort he puts in is simply incredible, nothing is ever too much trouble for him. He doesn’t just serve, he connects, he cares, and he makes you feel valued in a way that is rare to find. Without a doubt, this was the best service we have ever experienced in Sri Lanka or anywhere abroad. His friend Sam also deserves a heartfelt mention, equally warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming during every dining experience. A special thanks also goes to Chef Dalip, whose food is nothing short of artistry on a plate. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and crafted with so much passion that it turned each meal into a highlight of our trip. Taj Bentota has always been known for its excellence, but this stay reminded us why it holds such a special place in our hearts. We left with wonderful memories, full stomachs, and warm hearts, already looking forward to the day we return “home” again

We stayed here for 1 night during our office day out. We enjoyed the stay here. Rooms: I stayed at double room. Space is okay not too big or too small but its little smaller compared to other hotels I stayed recently. Beach: the access is open 24 hours. Clean and soft sand beach. Its relaxing. Staff: friendly and helpful except the security guy im the outside. Food/Buffet: Breakfast is the good and met the expectations. Lunch and dinner is below the expectations. We didn't had much favourite varieties for dinner and lunch. But okay. They are doing some renovation for some part of the rooms. During day time if we opened the balcony doors the noice is there. But less disturbing.
