Exceeded every expectation. The service throughout my stay was exceptional — the team went above and beyond at every turn, attentive without being intrusive. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The food and drinks truly set this resort apart. I work in the travel industry and visit all-inclusive resorts 20+ times a year, so I don't say this lightly — the culinary quality and beverage program here genuinely stood out. To start out this is my favorite place in Mexico the amenities and the hospitaly is amazing. From the pick up at the airport to the drop off is such a great experience. I never saw a single person with a frown on the face. Every one treats you so kindly and courteous that it invites you to go back and be in that happy place. The pool is amazing and most of the rooms have a pool in the porch. The first floor lead to the main pool and let me tell you what a pool it is. I love that the kids have so much space to roam and not get bored and put their electronics away. My butler Luis and Israel made my accommodation so much better anything you need they are always there to provide assistance and communication is down to the t. With these guys. The spas are amazing very clean and well taken care off. The food omg the food is so fresh it will satisfy the taste buds of the most critics. So many different places to eat you won't get bored. If you haven't been you should definitely check this place out you will love it.

This resort is amazing but there are some things to know before you go. First, this is family-owned so things aren't the same as large chain resorts. But the care and attention to detail is top notch! The rooms are a bit "dark" and lighting could go to be improved. But the rooms are spacious and clean. If you are a beach person, you won't be thrilled. But you have access to Maroma, which has a beautiful beach. With that being said, there are plenty of pools and the vibe is great! Where this resort SHINES is food and service. The food is absolutely amazing. If you have an opportunity, splurge and book Fuentes. You won't be sad. But as good as the food is, the service and staff are even better. Everyone truly takes pride in the resort and your stay. I can't wait to come back to Royale and to experience more of the El Dorado resorts.

We have come back for a second summer. The entire staff has been welcoming and made the stay pleasant. Victor and Bernardino were attentive and made each dining experience an enjoyable one. The bartenders and wait staff at the Kick Bar are wonderful. The food and drinks are amazing. We truly love this resort. Highly recommend this resort as a yearly destination.

This place was exceptional for my solo adventure. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. My room hadn't been updated yet, but it was still nice. The mini bar and bottled waters stayed fully stocked. I was centrally located near the main pool. It wasn't too loud and I was able to sit out and enjoy my patio, watching the coatis and listening to the waves crashing and the saxophone player for the private dinners. I walked nearly everywhere, but the shuttle carts ran pretty regularly. The staff here was amazing!! My concierge were were amazing- Jaime, Joslin, and Fatima. They made sure that I enjoyed the facilities to the max! For dinner I visited Haab, Santa Fe Grille, Di Italia Casitas, the Palms,Kampai, and Rincon. Service was great, servers all made great recommendations. The food at the restaurants was great! I especially loved Kampai and Rincon! There was also a fun mariachi on Mexican Fiesta night. I didn't really do the breakfast buffet, I mostly ate breakfast at the restaurants. The fruit plate and Chilaquiles at the Palms was my favorite!! It also had the most beautiful views. Santa Fe had a great omelette and room service breakfast was also good. The grounds were gorgeous, though the sargassum was a plenty. But there were so many areas where you could just sit and enjoy the scenery. My favorite was the little swing by the Healthfood Bar. The little ice cream shop/cafe was a nice touch as well, with a good selection of flavors. I enjoyed a fantastic massage at Naay with Omar. The hydro suite there was very relaxing. There were plenty of bali beds and loungers by the pools, Fuentes pool is where I spent most of my days floating- great shady spots and mango mojitos. Also had amazing chocolates inside the restaurant one day! Take a cheap inflatable that you don't mind leaving behind, you'll be glad that you did and don't forget your sun hat! Be sure to take advantage of the more inclusive excursions, they were great! The on-site cenote was very refreshing and learning about the rescue animals they had there and feeding them was fun. Snorkeling and spending the day at Maroma Beach was a highlight of my trip. The catamaran crew was very friendly and lots of fun. Snorkeling was EVERYTHING!! Giant eels, an octopus, a huge sea turtle, lots of rays and colorful fish. Be ready to swim, they took us a good bit away from the boat, but it was exhilarating! Great mango mojitos onboard, too. If I had my kids with me, we would have taken advantage of Nickelodeon, maybe next time! Airport transportation through the more inclusive was also quick and easy. I highly recommend!! I always felt safe and it was just what I needed as a respite during a very chaotic summer!! Can't wait to go back!!
