My Partner & I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in KL as a part of a 24hr layover for an onward trip to Thailand. We booked the hotel via BA as a part of our flight package, largely because I typically stay in Hyatt's when travelling for business. The hotel itself is stunning, nestled between a series of high-rise buildings with a direct view of the magnificent skyline and iconic Patronas Towers. Upon arrival you are whisked up to the 38th floor by the Conceriage to the check-in desk with a gorgeous back drop of the towers. The staff are attentive which is almost immediately obvious from your first interaction. The room was great, well appointed, clean and modern with all the things you expect from a 5 star hotel. The only minor room for improvement would be Smart TVs for late night Netflix, but far from a deal breaker. The breakfast was to die for, everything was top notch and freshly made, definitely a highlight of the stay. The Pool, Spa and Welness facilities are fantastic. The pool especially makes you feel like you're in a metropolitan oasis with amazing greenery all around you. It's easy to forget you're in the middle of one of the worlds biggest cities. The female & male changing rooms have their own respective saunas, steam rooms and jacuzzi which is a great touch. Location wise, you are roughly 15 mins walk from most things, including iconic street food markets, shopping malls and the towers. I would highly reccomend the Grand Hyatt for anyone looking for a long or short stay in KL, we will be back!

We stayed at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur from 21/2–23/2 to celebrate my birthday, and overall it was a pleasant stay. A special thumbs up to Kisha and JM for the extra effort in decorating the room with “Happy Birthday” balloons and a cute little birthday cake.It was such a thoughtful touch and truly made the celebration feel special. And I’ve got to mention the complimentary delicious jam tarts. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room was above average, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Suria KLCC, with an acceptable city view. Breakfast was good with a wide variety, though we noticed that Sunday morning’s spread was significantly better compared to Monday’s. The only downside would be the bathroom, it could use better ventilation and definitely a door for more privacy. Otherwise, no major complaints. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable birthday stay.

Great four night stay at Kuala Lumpur. The Grand Hyatt was superb in all terms, we really enjoyed our stay with this "up-side-down" hotel. What a breakfast, so many selectios with impeccable friendly service and what a view. One great breakfast attendants was discussing with us every morning regards yesterdays actions and todays plans. Everybody we talked were so friendly. Big pool area to relax the days efforts away.

Grand Hyatt KL was an incredible experience for a weekend trip! We booked a twin room for 12K points / night and ended up getting upgraded to a standard suite due to globalist status - an insane deal. Their standard suite was 1300 sqft… it was HUGE probably the biggest I’ve stayed in! Room and bathroom were very nice. Floor to ceiling city views. The view from the lobby is of the twin towers… gorgeous. We debated staying in the Park Hyatt but chose this and we’re glad we did — view was amazing and service was A+. Breakfast at thirty8 was as among the best I’ve had at a hotel. Giant buffet including selections from across the world, plus our favorites: a fresh squeezed juice bar and kombucha. The hotel is in a nice walkable area — like 10 min walk to the twin towers and beautiful KLCC park. Lots of malls/food within close proximity too. We didn’t go to the pool but walked through and it looked very nice.

This hotel has a systemic problem when it comes to their deposit policy, after we had an unresolved and ongoing dispute, their Concierge Manager Afandi agreed that I put this on Google reviews, probably because he couldn’t resolve this, and here it is: When we checked into the room, we were charged an unreasonably high amount of deposit for the room, how high? I am Canadian, it is the most expensive in my life, significantly more expensive than NY, LV, anywhere in Canada or Europe, even higher than Japan Korea and Taiwan. Fine, I guess it is just the way they do things, we are going to get it back right? So when we checked out, that’s exactly what I said, you need to tell me right now, and have it in writing that I am going to get my full deposit back. He said, it is going to be fine, you will get it back in a few days…. I asked, how can you assure of that if you haven’t looked into the room yet? This exposed that he was just BSing. I tried to reason with him, he finally agreed to personally go look into the room, he came back, and he said everything is going to be fine and I am going to get my deposit back…. I asked for something in writing or my deposit back right away, still no. There is just no way he can have any assurance that I am going to get my full deposit back given that he has already personally checked the room. For that excessive amount of deposit, he was expecting me to do this based on trust? I don’t think so. So, this is my story here, the dispute is still ongoing and unresolved, and their Concierge Manager agreed that I post it here, probably because he do not have a solution and he was unable to reason with me.
