This is a lovely resort . The setup is great with one large lively pool and one chilled pool, both with swim up bars. The food is great. Definitely the best thing is the staff. The service is excellent everywhere from pool side to the restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The activities team really enhanced our holiday. A special thank you to Mar who takes a morning stretch class and a really fun Aqua aerobics class. Fun way to stretch and move after the gym.

Our stay at Haven Riviera Cancún was incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to Luis, the pool concierge, and Julian at the Serenity Pool bar. Luis went above and beyond every single day. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind—always making sure we were comfortable, set up with great seating, and had everything we needed before we even had to ask. His level of service truly elevated our pool experience and made us feel like VIP guests. Julian at the Serenity Pool bar was just as outstanding. His drinks were perfectly made every time, and his friendly, upbeat personality made the atmosphere even more relaxing and fun. He remembered our preferences, kept the drinks flowing, and always greeted us with a smile. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Because of Luis and Julian, the Serenity Pool became our favorite spot at the resort. Their exceptional service, warmth, and attention to detail are exactly what make Haven Riviera Cancún such a special place. We can’t wait to come back—and we hope to see them again! Highly recommend this resort, and especially these two amazing team members. 🌴🍹

The visit was to celebrate my 50th birthday. The hotel is amazing, 10 days went to quickly. All the staff was so nice and helpful. And couldn't do enough for you. Pools are lovely and love the little cafe it's great for an early cuppa and pastry before breakfast. Alfredo was super and always found us to say hello and come to see us off too. Arturo from the restaurant was lovely too, he was our favourite waiter. We were lucky to sit in his area almost every day. We had had an amazing time 100% recommended and would definitely come back to this hotel. Favourite restaurant was the italian and the tepeanyaki but the were all great. Love the fact you can visit as many time as you like. Xx

Overall okay experience. The check in experience was a breeze. The room was labeled as “partial ocean view” but you had to stand at the very edge of our balcony to see the ocean. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet had a good amount of options. The cafe was our go to for lunch. We tried 3 of the restaurants and the only one we did not like was the Italian one. I had a seafood risotto that had dried out mussels and clams. The texture was also so gritty. Drinks were okay. Margaritas varied depending on which bartender was making them. Also wait service at pool was hit or miss. Had a female server the first day was on it and had our drinks flowing. The next day we waited over 20 min for drinks and the male server brought drinks to the couple next to us within minutes. We ended up just getting drinks for ourselves at the bar before he came back and he seemed annoyed that we did that. The beach was nothing to write home about. A lot of seaweed present but they had chairs and loungers if you just want to enjoy the ocean breeze. The pools were relaxing; main pool is more lively. If you want a chair or lounge bed get up early to secure one!! The entertainment was hit or miss. But we did love doing salsa lessons, trivia, and karaoke with Mar! Live violinist was amazing. But the singer at the foam party was not my favorite.

We had an amazing 10 day stay at Haven Riviera. Everything was top rate including the food, service, house keeping and bar staff. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and eager to help. Special shout out to Degner the pool concierge as he was extremely attentive and helpful. Adrian and Maria at the lobby bar were also amazing. There are also two ladies named Sandra who deserve special praise. Sandra at the front desk graciously assisted us on several occasions with friendly efficiency. The service provided by Sandra at the buffet was noteworthy by her friendliness and ready smile. The only complaint we had was that the beach sea weed was never removed (I was advised that the hotel's tractor was broken down). Notwithstanding the beach issue, it was a wonderful vacation.
