I stayed at this hotel for one week during Ironman Lanzarote, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it without hesitation. The hotel offers a spacious and welcoming lobby area... stylish, elegant, yet never trying too hard to be overly trendy. What stood out most, however, was the exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and genuinely charming staff, both at reception and in the restaurant. The buffet ranged from good to very good, while the table service was consistently excellent. The pool area is not particularly large, but despite the hotel being fully booked, it never felt crowded. A real highlight is the direct access to a small and beautiful beach, as well as to the larger Playa del Carmen beach just to the left of the hotel. For me personally, it was the perfect location, as the swim start for Ironman Lanzarote was only about 200 meters away. I would especially recommend this hotel to any athlete coming for the race. Excellent value for money! Easily five out of five stars.

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay in this fabulous hotel. Our stay included breakfast and evening meal. We were welcomed on arrival, seated in the reception area and completed our check in with a welcoming drink, very relaxing and efficient. The room was on the 5th floor, sea view ( although obscured by the palm trees ) overlooking the pool and gardens. The room was spotless, as was all of the hotel, inside and out. Food fantastic and the staff throughout the hotel were professional, polite and friendly. We always managed to get sunbeds, although not encouraged the best beds are always taken by towels being laid out before breakfast…if you can’t beat them you have to join them unfortunately ! Absolutely stunning grounds/ garden. The design and decor of the hotel is fantastic. It was refurbished in 2019 but you would think it was this year such is the quality of everything. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. I would like to see the choice to sanitise our hands on entering / exiting the restaurant and paper napkins to handle the food serving utensils with so many people using them this would be more hygienic. The hotel always had a relaxing and calming atmosphere. A big thanks to all the hard working staff, especially Patricia in guest relations and Javier on reception, impeccable service, you are a credit to the hotel. We will definitely be back Tim & Karen Clark, room 539 .

I would like to start this review with a massive thank you. The people working at this hotel are absolutely incredible. Everyone, without exception, was truly friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure to chat with them. Working with so many people can't be easy, but they manage to stay genuine and positive. The staff truly goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Thank you so so much! 🛏The hotel has a lot to offer. First of all, the rooms are stylish and comfortable. We also had a lovely view from our balcony and happily spent some of our time there. 🍝The food was delicious, and the variety was great. I also found it smart that some appetizers and desserts were served in bite-size portions. There was also no queue at the coffee machine during breakfast, because the waiters serve coffee and orange juice themselves. Cappuccino and latte are also available. 🏖The outside area is smartly organised. There are a few areas where you can sunbathe, as well as various sitting and lying options. The beach is separated by a glass fence, so the guests have privacy and a nice view. You are only a few steps away if you want to swim in the ocean. 🧘‍♀️There were many guests during our stay, from 14 to 24 May, but it never felt crowded, neither at the beach nor during meals. 🌴The garden is, without a shadow of a doubt, a masterpiece. It is impossible not to enjoy its beauty. The designers and gardeners must be given a medal. It is also remarkable how volcanic stone was used in the hotel’s design. It looks natural and blends beautifully with everything else. 🤔One thing that raised some questions was the placement of the electrical outlets and light switches. They were right in the middle of the headboard, so no cuddling if you want to charge your phone overnight :) I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to forget the cares of the world and enjoy a truly luxurious holiday. My husband and I will definitely come again!

We booked with TUI and Hotel Fariones was a happy accident. We’ve never been to Lanzarote so just picked somewhere that the gardens looked nice. From the second the taxi pulled up outside we were spoiled. Fresh juice and a refreshingly scented towel were served whilst we checked in, followed by bubbles and local cheeses in our room. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was prepared every day whilst we were out enjoying the gardens and pool. The breakfast is of dreams, so much choice and all beautifully presented and prepared. We brought beach towels (didn’t need them), shampoo and conditioner (didn’t need them as beautiful natural products were in plentiful supply). There are usb sockets so we didn’t need uk plugs. Each evening the turn down team would prepare our bed, give the room a refresh and leave us a local chocolate, all whilst we were at dinner. We lived in a bubble of relaxation and rest for the entire week. The staff are attentive but at just the right level, there are also plenty of them so you don’t have to search to find one and they are all identified by different uniforms that are flattering and smart. We really didn’t want to go home back to reality. If only uk hotels were like this and as affordable. We will definitely be back and we may try their sister hotel Playa Blanca. We stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful stay. It doesn't happen to often, that service level, room and location are all together on the highest level. The Fariones teams are great hosts! We enjoyed especially the barbecue and wellnes area. The place is great as it offers you the pool and club of the hotel as well as direct access to the ocean.
