We took the route over the mountains in the west of Tenerife. Stunning drive. Upon arrival, we were treated very courteously by Paulo, an incredibly good first experience, which only set the mood for the rest of the stay, at Reception were were met by Nerea, sat at the check in desk. Her manner again was incredibly welcoming and put us instantly at ease. The entrance Hall is grand and gives a good impression. Our bags were taken to our room by Paulo as we checked in. We opted to find our own way to our room, which was easy. On entry to our room, we were not disappointed by the standard and cleanliness of the room. (Junior suite with panoramic view). The only item we were not a fan of was the beds being a twin set up. However this was rectified without fuss and upon the first asking. The Breakfast didnt disappoint any day of the stay. Good options and kept well supplied. During the day the pool area was clean and peaceful. We had drinks there and made use of the pool side bar/restraunt. The food was delicious, especially the sandwich club. The spa staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. We dined at the Italian, where we had Kervin as our waiter. He was brilliant and made the experience all the better. Food was delicious well presented with recommended additional aspects from Kervin made it even better. With Kervin knowing the menu well made eating with a difficult allergy much easier. Sadly the Ikko was under renovations, but from what we could see that would have made a lovely place for the evening. And the Montenegro was difficult to partake in owing to a difficult allergy, though the menu sounded delightful. The evenings had love music at the tasca wine bar, all of which was pleasant with Javier making for an even more pleasant experience. We took a trip to the Atlantic pool, which was a beautiful setting fed by sea water and incredibly private. With a driver available from the hotel to take you to the golf course then another to drive you through the golf course to the pool. Food and drink were available. And service was as expected. Overall it was an incredible experience and we will visit again.

Beautiful location with professional, friendly staff who were always available and attentive. The resort offers plenty of relaxing activities, plus an amazing golf course next door where you can take lessons too. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Since we just got married, the team gave us a lovely welcome with a drink and special treats, such a thoughtful touch! Recommended

Spectacular hotel, beautifully maintained facilities, and a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The food was very good, varied, and high quality, but above all I would like to sincerely thank Marco Musing, the restaurant manager. I have several food allergies, and when traveling it is usually quite difficult to find safe options, especially for dinner. Marco was attentive every single day, making everything much easier for me, offering alternatives, and preparing adapted meals and dinners for me on the spot whenever needed. It is incredibly reassuring to find someone so attentive, approachable, and professional. Thank you so much for the care and for making my stay so easy and enjoyable. Definitely a place I would return to.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel last year and it was definitely an amazing stay. The hotel is not only beautiful but also located in a very quiet area of the island, great food, very good service, truly feels like a 5 star hotel. Maybe I would not recommend to stay there if it’s the first time in Tenerife as it’s a bit far out and to go down south you have to go up the Teide through Masca but Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz are very easily to reach. All in all an amazing experience, I would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at HCM. Our suite was so comfortable and luxurious. Worth spending a little more for a suite. We enjoyed eating at Rosmarino, the Italian restaurant. Our server, Kervin, was so professional, kind and knowledgeable on wines. We enjoyed our two nights eating in this restaurant. The golf at Buenavista was also nice. The overall property is very special, lovely architecture.
