Definitely not a 5 star hotel. It's been a passable stay - great views (thank you to reception taking into account my request for a city view), excellent location, the room is clean enough, service has been fine - but the whole hotel really needs a thorough clean and maintenance improved. 2 of 4 lifts are currently out of order (10 minutes wait today). I asked for the dirty handprints on the windows to be addressed on my first day, and they were not. Lots of mozzies in my room. Probably wouldn't stay here again, unfortunately.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly wonderful stay at Hotel Maya KL! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted at reception with warm smiles that instantly made me feel welcome. My room was comfortable and cozy, with a lovely bed and all the amenities I could need. I was especially impressed by the spacious bathroom — it was such a pleasure to take a relaxing bath there! The little details made my stay even better — the cookies were absolutely delicious, and the breakfast and restaurant meals were simply outstanding. But what truly stood out was the amazing staff. Their kindness and professionalism went far beyond my expectations. When I accidentally left my backpack at the hotel, they went out of their way to ensure it was safely delivered to me at the airport. I honestly lack words to express how grateful I am for their help and care. Hotel Maya is a place where hospitality truly shines — I recommend it from all my heart

Hotel Maya is very well located, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers. Aquaria KLCC, KLCC Park, Suria KLCC Mall, and the Petronas Towers are all easily accessible within a 5-minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel follows an eco-friendly approach by not providing plastic water bottles; instead, glass bottles are provided in the room, which can be refilled from water coolers placed in the corridor. MRT and LRT stations are also within walking distance. One drawback is the view from the room—Petronas Towers are blocked by another building, and a cemetery next to the hotel is visible from the window. Additionally, traffic noise can be heard in the rooms, especially during peak hours and night as well

Maya Brasserie Christmas Hi Tea is excellent. Value for money. Friendly and courteous staff make this holiday specially warm and welcoming. Thank you. The food is good with plenty of choices. The Christmas Turkey is tasty too. We love the pasta station with choices of sea foods The ambience and set up really befitting the Christmas mood. Thank you very much. For some reason I didn't like my stay here. When I asked for an hour late stay, they refused and gave me 15 mins max. I checked in late like half day late, had to switch room because of bed bugs, still they didn't consider it. The first room had bed bugs. So beware. Entire hotel is so dark and lack of lights is such an issue, like even while having breakfast The breakfast was average. Overall the hospitality was also not good. The lounge and bar didn't feel right. When I asked to increase my stay for another day they refused at hotel but it was showing available online. I ordered food at late night, around 10 pm, they didn't help me in retrieving it and honestly nobody helped. I would ask the staff there to tone down the attitude a bit, it's not good . Rating it 3 stars, because that's honestly it is at maximum.
