Been there for two nights. The place is surrounded by local restaurants and good food but too much jam in front. Room quite clean but heard knocking every now and then the whole night. Counter service was good, friendly to help us keep our luggage. Just that a five star hotel has not even a laundry room? As compared to JB, it feels super disappointing especially when it’s at their capital city and considered a five star hotel. There were even a spider on spider web at the lift lobby, bird poop everywhere, including nest. Also there were sounds of bats outside the hotel room, super noisy. The lift, some you need to tap card to go up which is quite secure but, some lifts don’t need, what’s the point of tapping it for security? Recommend to fix the lift card tapping security. And as summary, my overall experience was not that good but was still ok. Not worth the price, and the rating. Would rate it generally a 2.5 star.

We recently spent a night at the Maya Hotel Kuala Lumpur to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, the check-in staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and provided exceptional service. A special thank you to Manan, whose thoughtful room arrangements were a wonderful touch that we deeply appreciated. Our room was beautifully presented, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, making our birthday celebration truly memorable. A special thank you to Nesh from the Coffee House for taking such good care of us during breakfast. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Maya Hotel Kuala Lumpur in the future.

We recently stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Maya in Kuala Lumpur as part of a tour package. While parts of the hotel are undergoing some upgrades, the hotel is very well located and only a short walk to the Petronas Towers and shopping areas (we had a view of the towers from our room). The staff are exceptional and a credit to the hotel - personable, helpful and courteous. A special shout out to Nash in food and beverage. Nash went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and the breakfast buffet he oversaw was one of the best we've seen! We also appreciated the surprise birthday card and cake delivered to our room! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! We would be happy to recommend Hotel Maya.

The morning began with a breakfast spread that was as inviting as it was delicious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, creating a wonderful balance of flavors, textures, and freshness. The highlight for me was the pineapple and kurma compote. The natural sweetness of the dates blended beautifully with the bright, juicy pineapple, creating a perfectly balanced vegan compote. It was light, refreshing, and naturally sweet without being overwhelming—a wonderful way to start the day. The selection of spreads was equally impressive. The hummus was creamy, smooth, and rich with the classic flavors of chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and lemon. The baba ganoush was wonderfully smoky and velvety, with roasted eggplant giving it an authentic depth of flavor. Alongside them was a smooth and creamy cream cheese, adding a mild, comforting richness that paired perfectly with freshly baked bread. The hummus and baba ganoush captured the authentic spirit of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine, making every bite feel both comforting and full of character. The fresh salad was made even more enjoyable with two excellent dressings. The Caesar dressing was rich, creamy, and packed with savory flavor, while the Japanese sesame dressing offered a delicious nutty aroma with a delicate sweetness that perfectly complemented the crisp vegetables. Both dressings were equally satisfying, making it difficult to choose a favorite. Overall, this breakfast was a delightful experience from beginning to end. The sweet and refreshing pineapple and kurma compote, the authentic Middle Eastern-inspired hummus and baba ganoush, the creamy cream cheese, and the flavorful Caesar and Japanese sesame dressings came together beautifully. Every element was carefully prepared, creating a breakfast that was wholesome, delicious, and memorable. It was the kind of breakfast that encourages you to slow down, savor every bite, and appreciate how simple, quality ingredients can create an unforgettable dining experience. It was a breakfast that left me feeling satisfied, inspired, and already looking forward to my next visit.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur with my partner during Valentine’s Day. Truly a 10/10 experience. The decoration of the hotel is beautiful and elegant, creating a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive from check in until check out. Their service made our stay feel special and comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the overall ambience of the hotel was perfect for a couple’s getaway. Everything from the service, environment, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic stay in Kuala Lumpur. Will definitely come back again.
