We are currently staying in room 602. Our stay so far has been great, our room is very clean and there is plenty of food and drink to choose from. The entertainment in the evening is a lot of fun and they have also accommodated viewings of the World Cup so you can still enjoy that too. We really enjoyed the casino night! Lots of little extras, we had a birthday here and were presented with a special treat at the dinner service which we hadn’t asked for but was a lovely touch! We had the manager of the dinner service even remember us the next day asking if we enjoyed our treat, it’s kind he recognised us! Would recommend a visit here!

First time at the Hovima Cool and what a great experience, everything was first class we loved it. Hotel is in a great location with great views of the sea and lovely walks along the sea front. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Shower was amazing. If you are looking for a hotel with a good gym then this is the one, equipment is in excellent condition and there is plenty of it too, we used gym everyday. Great choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner plus the free meals in the speciality restaurant chinese, Italian Spanish nights. I like my food very hot so having access to a microwave was brilliant...well done. Entertainment staff - OMG they love their job and also love their guests. They work so hard to engage the tourists into their acts/shows that are on. They all work as a team and do their utmost to make it enjoyable for everyone. All staff from cleaners/front of house/security guard/catering all make you feel welcome and are a credit to the Hovima chain of hotels. Well done to all and thank you for an amazing stay, will definitely come back to this hotel when we return to tenerife. Lorraine/Graham - room 822

We stayed at this hotel , the adults only feature and location being the main selling point & it did not disappoint. The room was so clean with a beautiful sea view, free WiFi, air con and Netflix on the tv. The food each night was delicious, with lots of selection for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. The all inclusive drinks were amazing with a range of spirits , cocktails & soft drinks. There were plenty of sun loungers so the early morning sun bed war didn’t exist here . The pool was lovely and had bars and a snack bar near by. The entertainment team were fun, involved and had great energy, getting the guests involved. They hosted various entertainment nights such as bingo, singers & karaoke. The location of this hotel is perfect, a 4 minute walk to the beach, shops near by, bars and pubs & the McDonald’s. We used the spa facilities which included a Turkish bath, sauna, ice plunge, jacuzzi. We also used their gym and outdoor fitness area. My only complaint would be that the gym needs aircon. Other than that, our stay was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel a short walk from shops and bars. The pool was nice and the aqua fit was great fun. We went in January and every morning there was a queue of people with towels ready to claim good sunbeds. The pool is mostly shaded until late morning so for those who like the early sun you'd need to get there around 8am. The gym was excellent, really decent for a hotel gym. The food was pretty good. Always a decent choice. Drinks were good. Staff excellent. Friendly, helpful, funny. We enjoyed the entertainment. We threw ourselves into it. The clientele in January were mostly retired people and us as a ladies group being in our 40's and 50's we did wonder if we might be too loud but we had lots of fun with the other guest. Some guests return year after year. The staff definitely contribute to the reason people come back. We haven't booked our January jolly for next year but we will definitely consider The Hovima again

Here is my TripAdvisor review (it'sa bit long 🤣). We had an amazing time ❤️ We had a wonderful week here. Rooms 814 & 815 superior, normal ai (beautiful view). It was cleaned immaculately every day with fresh towels and bedding. Fridge stocked on 1st day. We loved all the daytime activities and participated in darts, cornhole, shuffleboard, football tennis, water polo, quiz, bingo and archery. The entertainment team are amazing! So funny and friendly. All staff at the hotel are, the bar staff would also make us laugh. Lots of quiet areas too if you like to relax. The evening entertainment was good too. The pool is lovely and bigger than it looks on the photos. No problem getting loungers any time of day. The food was great, plenty of variety and no queuing. Even had Sunday lunch. Our a la carte meal was lovely. Drinks good. There were some branded drinks included such as Gordon's pink gin, Smirnoff vodka, Aperol, etc. I found the machine cocktails ok. Location is brilliant. About a 7 min walk to the beach with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. I would say in the middle so you can go left or right to different areas. We met so many lovely, friendly people during our stay which is also a big plus for us.
