Best Trip Ever!!! My girlfriend, daughter, her friend, and I visited the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana 6/13-6/17/2026 and could not have had a better time. The entrance is breathtaking and the check-in process was easy! We had the Club Level pool and cabanas for 4 days and nothing could have been better. We had breakfast at Shutters (club level) and it was perfect. We usually had a salmon bagel, shakshuka, and the Dominican but other things we had on the menu were also outstanding, especially the bacon. We ordered food from The Pier from our servers and it was perfect, especially the pizza. The Club Level pool is super-chill, especially the swim up bar, and we would go over the infinity pool also. We had in-room dining the first night, then Waves (steaks and seafood), Noodle and Thread (Italian), and then Tempest (hibachi)-the food was truly 5 star. I also noticed the staff paying attention to the grounds 100% of the time, always taking care of dead leaves and keeping everything looking Disney-clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom modern and immaculate. No one on this trip had any complaints. The views were spectacular from beginning to end and we would repeat this trip with no changes without hesitation. The standout staff include: Jose Sanchez, Argenis (assistant manager), Roberto (bartender), Francisca y Maria (waitress), Junior (pool concierge), Miguel (pool concierge), Dahiana Ramon (Shutters manager), Bryan (waiter at Shutters), and Saury (waiter at Shutters). The gift shops had excellent souvenir t-shirts and everything you may need if forgotten (clothes, shoes, meds, etc).

I had a really good stay overall, but I don’t think this is a perfect 5-star experience, so I’d give it a solid 4/5. The biggest highlight was easily the service. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and this was some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere. Every staff member was genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional. It almost makes you wonder how they train everyone to be that consistently kind because it was impressive from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It feels modern and updated, the pools are great, and the beach is kept in excellent condition. We visited during seaweed season, but the resort has an entire crew out every morning cleaning the beach, and they do an impressive job keeping it looking as good as possible. The weakest part, in my opinion, was the food. Visually, it’s excellent. The presentation is beautiful, every dish is plated well, and everything looks like it’s going to be amazing. Unfortunately, I found that the taste didn’t quite match the presentation. Most meals were around a 6/10 for me. Nothing was bad, but very little stood out or made me want to come back for a second time. To be fair, this is an all-inclusive resort, so it’s hard to compare it to high-end standalone restaurants, but I was still hoping for a bit more. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana if you’re looking for a clean, upscale resort with exceptional service. If they improved the food, this would easily be a 5-star experience for me. As it stands, it’s a very good resort that delivers where it matters most, but still has room for improvement.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana and would absolutely return. One of the highlights of our trip was the food — the variety and quality across the restaurants were excellent. There was something for every taste, and each meal felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The buffets offered good food as well, although they are not self-serve. You need to request each item, which could occasionally be a bit challenging due to language barriers (for example, asking for one slice of cheese might get you four, or “a little bit” could turn into a generous serving). Still, the staff remained patient and eager to help. The service overall was amazing. The staff truly work hard to meet — and often exceed — expectations, and their effort does not go unnoticed. The beach was absolutely pristine, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The entertainment at the resort exceeded our expectations. The entertainment team brought so much energy and fun to every activity, making it easy to participate or simply enjoy the atmosphere. A special thank you to Manuel, who stood out for his enthusiasm, friendliness, and ability to make guests feel welcome and included — he really made our experience even more memorable. In terms of cons, the resort is a little dated, but it is very well maintained and clean, so it didn’t take away from our overall experience. The butler service, however, was somewhat underwhelming and did not add much value to our stay. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. A beautiful resort with excellent service, great food, and outstanding entertainment — highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun yet relaxing getaway.

We just returned from our 2 year anniversary trip here, staying 5 nights, and our trip couldn’t have been more perfect. We travel quite a lot and this was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, resort we’ve ever stayed at. The grounds are spectacular, we upgraded to club level which I highly recommend as the club pool was wonderful and service was top notch!! A huge special shoutout to Junior at the club pool who always made sure we were doing good (and even set our seats up before we came down one morning!), Francisca and Maria were wonderful servers at the club pool. Jose, Manuel and Alfred from the entertainment team brought so much energy and fun, we felt like we were in an adult day camp - we loved it! Yafreisi at the martini lounge welcomed us with open arms every night and so generously took amazing photos for us, she was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about the food - top notch. And the icing on the cake was getting to act like kids again at the water park!!! We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back. If you’re debating on if you should book here, stop waiting & do it - you won’t regret it. Thank you everyone for making our anniversary so memorable!!!

Booked our honeymoon at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana & it exceeded any and every expectation! The staff was so kind and accommodating and made sure you were well taken care of. The beach was pristine. The pool was excellent. We frequently ordered Miami Vices and Dirty Monkeys. The room was so comfortable. It was so comfortable perfect. Everything was 5/5 stars - ESPECIALLY THE FOOD. If you’ve been disappointed by resort food in the past, the food here will change your mind on that. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. I recommend the Gabriella cocktail at the Gabriella’s Lobby Bar & the Potato Gnocchi at Noodle and Thread. Absolutely wonderful vacation! We hope to come back soon! 🌴
