I had been hearing about this hotel for years but never had the chance to visit and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment you arrive, the staff provides outstanding service. Check-in was seamless and fast, complete with a lovely welcome cocktail. The rooms are very spacious, featuring a large balcony with panoramic views of the pool and the beach. It also had an espresso machine with a great selection of coffee options. The food was incredible. While there were too many restaurants to try them all, every single one I visited was fantastic. My favorite for dinner was the Indian restaurant their lamb dishes are absolutely delicious. The buffet (for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) was also very complete, offering plenty of variety for everyone. I spent most of my time at the club pool, where the service was top-notch. Francisca took care of us during our stay and never let our glasses run empty, always checking if we needed anything, whether it was food or drinks. Roberto at the pool bar was also wonderful friendly, fast, and great at making cocktails. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and they made me feel right at home. I’d like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Pedro Tomás and Ms. Darling Méndez, who were always attentive, sharing great recommendations for both dining and activities around the resort.

My family and I truly enjoyed our week at the Hyatt Zilara (8/18–8/23). It is an amazing property—meticulously maintained, beautiful, and staffed by an attentive team. We stayed in a basic junior suite facing the pool, which was more than enough. The room did not feel outdated, the two queen beds were comfortable, the linens were fresh and soft, and the bathroom was huge. The shower was especially nice, and I appreciated the glass enclosure with doors that could be closed for privacy. The resort was surprisingly quiet during our stay. There are two large pools, and we never had to rush to get a good spot. The beach also had plenty of chairs, with staff available to bring drinks or help adjust the umbrellas. There are several bars throughout the property, and the included drinks were definitely up to par for an all-inclusive resort. The food was good—not a huge amount of variety, but everything we had was tasty and good quality. Dinner options included a buffet and two sit-down restaurants. There is also a restaurant that costs extra, which we did not try. My only complaint was the repeated attempts to sell spa and VIP services. I understand making guests aware of these options upon arrival, but I don't want to be repeatedly approached about upgrades while trying to relax, especially for a VIP service that only lasts 24 hours. Other than that, we had an amazing experience. Beautiful property, attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and most importantly, a very relaxing atmosphere. **Definitely worth it!**

This place was 💯💯💯💯💯💯!!!!!!!!! There’s like 9 different restaurants and the food I followed them is super super delicious. The dreams are awesome and they make you whatever drink you want. The Pools are super clean clear awesome great seating and cabanas along music 24 seven food 24 seven drinks 24 seven the views are amazing. The people are amazing the Services flawless room service 24 seven rooms are beautiful. There is no downside to this place. There is an event every single day and every single night different scale bars all around amazing this place is endless. There’s so much to do.

Best Trip Ever!!! My girlfriend, daughter, her friend, and I visited the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana 6/13-6/17/2026 and could not have had a better time. The entrance is breathtaking and the check-in process was easy! We had the Club Level pool and cabanas for 4 days and nothing could have been better. We had breakfast at Shutters (club level) and it was perfect. We usually had a salmon bagel, shakshuka, and the Dominican but other things we had on the menu were also outstanding, especially the bacon. We ordered food from The Pier from our servers and it was perfect, especially the pizza. The Club Level pool is super-chill, especially the swim up bar, and we would go over the infinity pool also. We had in-room dining the first night, then Waves (steaks and seafood), Noodle and Thread (Italian), and then Tempest (hibachi)-the food was truly 5 star. I also noticed the staff paying attention to the grounds 100% of the time, always taking care of dead leaves and keeping everything looking Disney-clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom modern and immaculate. No one on this trip had any complaints. The views were spectacular from beginning to end and we would repeat this trip with no changes without hesitation. The standout staff include: Jose Sanchez, Argenis (assistant manager), Roberto (bartender), Francisca y Maria (waitress), Junior (pool concierge), Miguel (pool concierge), Dahiana Ramon (Shutters manager), Bryan (waiter at Shutters), and Saury (waiter at Shutters). The gift shops had excellent souvenir t-shirts and everything you may need if forgotten (clothes, shoes, meds, etc).

I had a really good stay overall, but I don’t think this is a perfect 5-star experience, so I’d give it a solid 4/5. The biggest highlight was easily the service. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and this was some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere. Every staff member was genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional. It almost makes you wonder how they train everyone to be that consistently kind because it was impressive from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It feels modern and updated, the pools are great, and the beach is kept in excellent condition. We visited during seaweed season, but the resort has an entire crew out every morning cleaning the beach, and they do an impressive job keeping it looking as good as possible. The weakest part, in my opinion, was the food. Visually, it’s excellent. The presentation is beautiful, every dish is plated well, and everything looks like it’s going to be amazing. Unfortunately, I found that the taste didn’t quite match the presentation. Most meals were around a 6/10 for me. Nothing was bad, but very little stood out or made me want to come back for a second time. To be fair, this is an all-inclusive resort, so it’s hard to compare it to high-end standalone restaurants, but I was still hoping for a bit more. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana if you’re looking for a clean, upscale resort with exceptional service. If they improved the food, this would easily be a 5-star experience for me. As it stands, it’s a very good resort that delivers where it matters most, but still has room for improvement.
