Extremely dirty room (saw a cockroach in my room), rather old hotel which also needs maintenance. Pillow is extremely soft as well. No kettle in the room. You can get water outside the lift. Low quality tv resolution (as shown). Food is decent - however the options during dinner are limited. Easy to get to the beach. Walkable distance to bus station. Toilet is rather small as well but water pressure is fine. Toilet roll however is dirty as well. Poor noise cancellation- you can hear loud music outside every night till late, and your neighbours walking around/opening/closing doors.

Absolutely loved our holiday here. Stunning Hotel, clean and very well maintained. This was my first time staying at the hotel and it certainly won’t be the last. The staff were amazing. So helpful, attentive, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They cater for any dietary requirements which I personally benefited from massively. If you haven’t visited then you 100% have to! We can’t wait to come back and will be booking again asap ☺️

Overall the hotel is really nice, kid friendly and very clean and the staff are very good and friendly. The pools are excellent, very clean also. Lots to do for the kids and the all inclusive is worth every penny, the food has been delicious and lots of different/variety every night. Main downfall is the lift situation. Only 4 lifts for up to 11 floors (approx 1000 rooms) and can wait up to 10 minutes for a lift to stop at your floor and for there to be space for you to go in.

Amazing stay at the Bouganville, Tenerife! We had an incredible holiday at the Bouganville. The service was honestly outstanding – every member of staff was so friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. They always go above and beyond. A special mention to Lorenzo on the front desk, who was always so cheerful and welcoming, and to Juan and Danny at the bar, who made every evening fun, they are so friendly and great at their job. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with stunning views and a brilliant location. The outside seating area is lovely, and the food is fantastic with different specials every night and fresh cooking stations. The waiters are brilliant too – they constantly check in, offer to bring drinks, and make you feel really looked after. It’s been an amazing holiday, and we would definitely come back. You get so much for your money here. Highly recommend! 🌴✨

Returning home from a visit at Iberostar Waves Bouganville Playa. This is a big hotel and there is a lot of space, we never felt crowded and there were always good sun beds available. The food is great and again the restaurants never felt crowded. Kids club was only 2 hours long but our two young ones really enjoyed it. The pools are good, as to the water slides. Shame the pools didn’t open until 10 but our kids went in before then, as did many others and nobody complained. Our room was ok, a bit tired but that may have just been ours. My eldest son had his own room and it was in better condition than ours. The staff were all superb, really helpful and always having a laugh with the kids. The room cleaners were also brilliant. Location wise you can’t fault that, amazing views over the sea. Would recommend this hotel to anyone considering the area.
