Our stay at this hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Neffer, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were freshly serviced every day to a very high standard. The food was also very good, with plenty of choice and consistently enjoyable meals throughout our stay. The location couldn't have been better—right in the heart of everything, with shops, restaurants, attractions, and transport links all just a short walk away, making it easy to explore Malta. Overall, this is a very accommodating hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Malta, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The staff really made our stay at the InterContinental Malta. Everyone we dealt with was warm and helpful, and travelling with a young baby, we really appreciated how accommodating they were. Tamari deserves a special mention—she went out of her way to make things easier for us. The facilities were another highlight. We loved the rooftop pool, the gym was genuinely impressive, and breakfast was something we looked forward to each morning. The indoor pool was pleasant too, although fairly small. Some parts of the hotel feel more polished than others. The public spaces have a grand feel, but the rooms and corridors could do with a refresh. That would bring the accommodation up to the standard of the service, which was easily the best part of our stay.

This hotel is not 5 stars; far from it. We arrived for both me and my husband’s birthday. We booked through our credit card that would give us extra privileges. None of the amenities were that great tbh. The club lounge had mold on the ceiling vent which I brought up to the front desk and the girl responded ‘okay’. Their beach club is lackluster and doesn’t even have facilities to wash the sand off your feet. The breakfast and food in general was very bland. Our booking clearly specified that we are guaranteed a late check out until 4pm. I was checking out on my birthday and this was not honored; they said they were fully booked and the best they could do is 1pm. Our last evening there, my husband had a severe allergic reaction to shellfish contaminated food served at the lounge. We clearly told the staff that he was allergic but the reception swore that none of the food had shellfish even though that’s the only thing he ate prior to the allergic reaction. Overall I was far from impressed. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family.

We would also like to highlight the wonderful service at check-out—Luisa and Martina were exceptionally friendly, warm, and professional, ensuring our stay ended on a high note. ​Great hospitality and top-tier customer service. I’ve stayed here for a week, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more! The experience has been fantastic, and a huge part of that is down to the incredible restaurant staff. They were absolutely amazing, always welcoming, friendly, and making every visit feel special. A massive shout-out to Joniel, John, Asal, and Kamal for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. They really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and they deserve all the recognition for the hard work they do. Thank you for making our week so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again
