My husband, my son, and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We truly enjoyed our time, especially the experience at the restaurant during breakfast. Our stay at the InterContinental Malta was nothing short of exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and completely at ease. We would especially like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful Club team (Sameer, Vinay, Nisha, Njambi, Ann from the kitchen and Manana (room cleaning)). Throughout our ten-day stay, they took extraordinary care of us with warmth, professionalism, and sincere kindness. A very special thank you for thoughtfully accommodating my dietary requirements - always attentive, proactive, and with a smile. Their dedication truly made a difference and elevated our entire experience. We would also like to sincerely thank Tarek, the Front Office Manager, for his outstanding support and impeccable service. His professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to excellence contributed greatly to the smooth and enjoyable nature of our stay. Absolutely loved my stay at the InterContinental Malta as an IHG One Rewards member. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. Our original room was on the noisier side, and the team happily moved us to a quieter garden view room on a higher floor for a small additional fee. Breakfast was included and served daily in the Opal Lounge, which made mornings especially relaxing. A special thank you to Sopo in the Opal Lounge, always professional and attentive, and she remembered my preferred table and cappuccino each morning . Special thanks also to Anamika in reservations for making everything run smoothly. It’s the kind of service that makes returning feel like the natural choice.

I stayed at InterContinental Malta by IHG in March 2025 and overall had a very positive experience — especially if you enjoy being in the heart of the action. The hotel’s location in St. George’s Bay, St. Julian’s is excellent for exploring the area, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, bars, and nightlife just steps away. There’s a great variety of food options nearby, ranging from Italian to Chinese and Mediterranean-style restaurants, so you’ll rarely be short of places to eat. That said, the lively location is a double-edged sword. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, it’s worth noting that this area is very active at night, with bars, clubs, and people out and about until late. Our original room faced towards the nightlife and we could hear music and people returning home, which made sleeping challenging on some nights. This isn’t unusual for the central St. Julian’s area — many reviewers note occasional noise due to nightlife and foot traffic around the hotel. What really stood out to me was the staff and service. After we mentioned the noise issue at reception, one of the managers personally took care of our request to change rooms. Within a few hours we were moved to a quieter room facing the interior garden — and the difference was huge. The new room was much more peaceful and truly made our stay more enjoyable. The team were attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure we were comfortable. The hotel itself offers solid amenities and services. While I didn’t use all of them, there are multiple on-site dining options, bars, and leisure facilities, and the property is well-kept and elegant. Being able to step out and instantly have so many restaurants around was a definite plus — whether you want a casual bite or a nicer dinner, you’re spoiled for choice. In summary: great location, excellent service, and very convenient for exploring St. Julian’s. If you’re a light sleeper or prefer quieter surroundings, request a room facing the garden or interior when you check in. Either way, I’d happily stay here again thanks to the helpful staff and overall experience.

Outstanding hotel with excellent service throughout. The staff were attentive and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were spacious, modern and very comfortable. Food quality was excellent and the overall experience felt premium in every detail. A perfect location and a hotel that truly understands guest satisfaction. 10/10 experience.
