We stayed at the Malta Marriott Hotel for 6 nights as a family and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. We had two rooms and both were beautiful, spacious and spotless. The whole hotel felt luxurious but still really warm and welcoming. What stood out most was the staff — everyone was so attentive, friendly and genuinely lovely throughout our stay. A special mention to Jubayer, who helped with our luggage when we arrived and left. He was always so smiley, kind and helpful, and really made us feel welcome. The spa, gym and pool were all fantastic, and the breakfast every morning was excellent with so much choice. Everything about the stay felt really well done and relaxing. We were also celebrating our parents’ anniversary while we were there and asked if the hotel might be able to do something special. When the rooms were cleaned that day, they had left a bottle of Prosecco, some cake and a lovely card for them, which was such a thoughtful touch and really made the day feel special. Couldn’t recommend the Malta Marriott enough — such a wonderful stay and we would absolutely return.

Easily the worst 5 star resort I have stayed in over the past 20 years. The junior suite is poorly designed with the toilet located in another room from the bathroom where the wash basin is. The air conditioning is completely inadequate for a hot climate as it restricts you from lowering the temperature below 20c. Despite complaining, no one came to inspect and fix the problem. The concierge was unable to suggest any doctors when we needed a recommendation. And the night manager proved completely incompetent in shutting down a loud set of tables seated in the terrace immediately below our room at 12.30am, depriving us of sleep. I have simply nothing good to say about this property except that they are fleecing customers with excessively high prices and reneging on all of Marriott’s brand promises. As a gold member of Marriott, I am horrified that this property bears the name of this brand. I feel cheated both of time and money. Shame on you. Never again.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years, even during the times under its previous brand, and I love returning for our weekend getaways. The hotel still holds well after its most recent refurbishment in late 2019, so the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Great service from Ranjan at the M Lounge and the team in general.

The views from the hotel were breathtaking, adding an extra layer of magic to our stay. Whether relaxing in the room or enjoying the common areas, the scenery was simply unforgettable. Overall, this resort delivered excellence in every aspect. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly memorable experience in Malta!

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute 10/10! The service is simply phenomenal – without a doubt the biggest highlight of this place. The gentlemen at the reception are incredibly polite, helpful, and represent a very high level of professionalism and personal culture. Always smiling and ready to assist in any situation – they truly made a huge impression on us. The hotel clearly cares a lot about its guests – everything is well taken care of, the cleanliness is top-notch, and the food is absolutely delicious. A huge and very pleasant surprise was the special arrangement prepared for my husband’s birthday – something truly unique and touching Another big plus is the excellent communication – quick responses to messages and genuine help in every situation (even when we lost a wallet!). To sum up: outstanding service, full professionalism, and genuine care for guests. Simply amazing – highly recommended!
