Yesterday we returned from Hotel Karafuu Beach Resort & Spa. It's a beautifully located resort with stunning view, lots of greenery, lovely thatched cottages and a wonderful atmosphere. The service people are vary caring and dedicated. The food is truly delicious and very varied. We'd especially like to thank Adelina for her kindness at Zanzi Bar, Agness for her beautiful smile every day as she greeted us at the restaurant, and Alicia, my namesake from the restaurant, for her warmth. And last but not least, Urszula for her immense competence and willingness to help with even the smallest matters, whose approach made us feel truly cared for. Wonderful accommodation, beautiful location, incredibly friendly staff. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, and if we visit Zanzibar again, we will definitely choose this hotel. Karafuu is one of the most beautiful, peaceful hotels that I have visited. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient. The rooms on the beach are sensational. The sea water is beautiful and warm. The hotel is spotlessky clean Mohammed from the dive center is friendly and the snorkeling and lunch experience that he offers is great. Hasim at the tours desk is informative and does a great tour into the local town. Special mention to the waiters Peter, Ferick and Suliman for great service and Joel the pool bartender. All round excellent energy, beauty and fun with a capital F! We will definitely be back.

Hi I leaving this review as waiting for my transfer to take me back to the airport.I am so so sad to leave this amazing hotel. It was just perfect- the location on an amazing palm beach,the room- a beautiful cottage overlooking the sea,the local diverse food, the shows every night, especially the ones in the massai village inside the hotel. But the best thing about it is the staff - I have never met such kind and welcoming people, everybody greeting you all the time, knowing your name, always with a good word for every body, genuine kind people. BIG CONGRATS TO ALL THE STAFF, FROM THE PEOPLE CLEANING THE BEACH EVERY EARLY MORNING TO THE RESTAURANT STAFF, TO THE BAR STAFF....EVERYBODY HERE IS GOLD!
