La Flora Khao Lak

Top 4 Star Resort. we booked with Breakfast-Room was Seaside View deluxe. , which was the best choice for us. Breakfast: There was a wide selection, from various fruit juices and freshly brewed coffee to whole-wheat bread and classic Thai hot meals. Fresh fruit, cakes, and freshly made omelets and fried eggs, along with daily changing sausage specialties, rounded out the offerings very well. The room was very spacious and cleaned daily. Bed linen was changed every two days and towels every day. The numerous staff members were always very attentive and eager to fulfill every wish. We also has access to the Gym and the other Pools and Bars From La flora group there .This resort is Highly recommended.

We initially stayed next door at Ramada as part of a Luxury Escapes deal, but after our return flight was cancelled, they tried to charge us a large additional amount for another night and late checkout. We moved to La Flora and, for less money, got two rooms instead of sharing one! We know we can claim the cost through travel insurance, but for us, it was the principle. La Flora was fantastic. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious and well-priced, with a beautiful deck right by the ocean. The live music duo was lovely, and the three different pools are incredible, with plenty of space to spread out. Numerous deck chairs, many along the pool and on the beach ocean front. The location is perfect, with shops, massages and a food market just a short walk away. When our flight was delayed again, La Flora extended our late checkout without any issue or additional cost. This was a stark contrast to our experience at Ramada next door. I’m so glad we made the effort to change resorts, despite the inconvenience. It made a stressful travel situation so much easier!

Came for our wedding and it didn't disappoint. Really happy with how it all turned out. Sara works at La Vela, which is the beachfront we used for the wedding, but we had a choice between all of the La Flora Group properties for venues. She kept us in the loop with the weather and had alternative arrangements sorted out. We could also wait for the next day if required. Photographers, a romantic dinner the night before the wedding, beach wedding and beach reception. We had around 5 wait staff assigned with two chefs. We stayed for the week and it wouldn't be a trip away without something happening. Despite this, the team was able to sort out an arrangement that kept everyone happy. Breakfast is fantastic and the meals we are at the resort were all enjoyable. My kids were entertained by Suzy, who fell in love with my children, and vice versa. I would recommend for weddings, or holidays. With or without children.

Although it needs a little bit of love, it's still a beautiful hotel. The staff are wonderful, the facilities and proximity to the beach are great and the food is quite good as well, even if a bit overpriced. Our ocean front, pool access room was fantastic, and I really don't have any real complaints at all about anything. Don't expect a luxury experience, but do expect more than what you pay for.
