I am absolutely thrilled to have visited Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa for the second time, and it was wonderful to see that the hotel has made some fantastic improvements since last year. The fitness center has been significantly expanded, and they now serve fresh juices and smoothies alongside fresh fruit; honestly, you won't find this level of service even in neighboring resorts that cost several times more, so huge kudos to the team for that. Even though the property doesn't have a traditional lounge for elite status members, they made up for it beautifully by hosting a lovely welcome cocktail party. My only minor critique regards breakfast, where I missed having a proper selection of smoked salmon; you could only order it with the Eggs Benedict, but the fish there was sliced very thin and was of rather mediocre quality. That being said, the overall service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly polite and always ready to help. Also, do not miss out on the ice cream sold at the resort it is absolutely delicious! I received such a warm welcome during my stay, which truly meant a lot to me, and I am already looking forward to my next visit to this wonderful resort. And yes, they offer a free weekend shuttle to TakuaPa! Just make sure to book it in advance, as seats are limited.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa, and it exceeded our expectations as a family resort. The biggest highlight for our daughter was definitely the Kids Club and Teen Room. The Teen Room is fantastic, with free games including bowling, basketball, darts, table football, and other arcade-style games. She spent hours there every day and never got bored. The resort also offers an impressive schedule of daily activities for both kids and adults. From arts and crafts, pizza making, cupcake decorating, painting, Muay Thai, yoga, foam parties, movie nights, and many more, there’s always something happening. We were amazed by how well the activities were organized. Honestly, you could easily stay here for an entire week without even leaving the resort because there are so many things to enjoy. It’s a perfect destination for families who want a relaxing holiday while keeping the children entertained. A special thank you to the amazing Kids Club team—Chris, Edrn, and Jean. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, and they made every activity fun and engaging. Our daughter looked forward to seeing them every day, and they truly made our holiday even more memorable. The resort itself is spacious, beautiful, and well maintained, with several swimming pools and direct beach access. We highly recommend Le Méridien Khao Lak to families with children. If you’re looking for a resort where both parents and kids can have a fantastic vacation, this is an excellent choice. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at le meredien for 4 nights and had a lot of wonderful memories. The hotel is very well maintained with beautiful beaches and LOTS of pools (the most I have ever been. I am a life time titaninum member and stayed over 1,500 nights with the Marriott brand). Amenities shows a lot of attention to details such as multiple LG dehumidifiers in the room, beach shoes by the beach, yoga class is offered under a roof facing the beach, etc. The highlights are the hotel family programs, kids loved the biking tour, towel animal making, movie night w/ popcorns everynight and various crafts. The staffs of the kids club gave my children a hand decorated goodie bag with treats in the end. I am very touched by their friendiness and dedication. As an adult, i enjoyed yoga, aqua program, and thai language class. All these are included in the room price. Breakfast buffet is also top notch and they make every effort to make the highly customized food to your expectations. My room was spacious with a king bed bedroom and a two twin beds bedroom, two full bathrooms, and a small dinning area. The room has two mini couryards of which one has direct access to the pool which is a huge plus (we can swim out and back to the room!).

​An absolute paradise—we didn’t want to leave! ​We had an incredible stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak. We booked the beachfront villa, which was absolutely amazing. It featured two massive bedrooms, two large bathrooms, and a comfortable lounge with a small kitchen right in the middle. The highlight was our private pool, situated literally two meters from the beach! ​The resort itself is perfect for a completely relaxing getaway. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices, and the restaurants offered excellent options. We actually ended up ordering room service quite a bit because the food was great and our villa was so perfect that we felt absolutely no need to leave the resort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury and ultimate relaxation!

We stayed at Le Méridien with our one-year-old daughter, and unfortunately our experience did not match what we would expect from a five-star hotel. In our opinion, this property is much closer to a four-star resort. The first disappointment was the check-in process. We arrived at around 4:30 PM and had to wait approximately 30 minutes to be checked in. There was only one other couple waiting, so it was difficult to understand why the process took so long. What made it worse was that we were standing outside in the heat with a small child after a long journey. In the end we were assigned one of the furthest rooms in the resort. It took around 10–15 minutes to walk there. Throughout our stay, we constantly found ourselves walking long distances to reach the restaurant and the hotel exit, often carrying our daughter. Anyone working in hospitality should understand that guests with babies, pregnant women, or elderly family members should be accommodated closer to the main facilities. Another surprise was that not all swimming pools were easily accessible to regular guests. Some could only be entered directly from specific swim-up rooms, which further limited our options. Our daughter celebrated her first birthday during our stay. Unfortunately, the occasion was completely ignored. We were not expecting anything extravagant, but even a small dessert with a candle from the restaurant would have made the day feel special. The complete lack of recognition was disappointing. We visit Khao Lak twice a year and have stayed in many resorts before becoming parents. Having a child has made us notice details that we previously overlooked. We visited the kids' room only once. It had many small items that could easily be swallowed by toddlers, and there was also a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals. We had tried to request a room with a bathtub to make bathing our daughter easier, as the bathroom design was not very practical. The shower diverter did not work properly, and the sink faucet was positioned so close to the basin that water splashed everywhere, even during normal hand washing. The hotel did not deliver the level of service, attention to detail, or family-friendly experience that we expect from a five-star property.
