A stunning place of pure luxury. We were only here for 2 nights of our 3 week Thailand trip & were exceptionally fortune enough to not only experience The Sarojin, but receive an amazing upgrade to a jacuzzi pool suite. Room was huge with the best outdoor shower ever! Super comfortable bed, lovely double sink, 2 showers, 2 bathrooms, just fabulous! The beach is beautiful, clean, spacious & you're looked after with water throughout the day. The beach bar is lovely with a great happy hour between 5-6.30pm. We didn't eat here as there are lovely, authentic Thai restaurants along the beach. What sets the place apart though is the staff, they are so friendly & genuinely look like they enjoy their jobs, also the alacarte breakfast served til 6pm is excellent. It does attract an older clientele, not often I can say as a couple in our early 50s that we felt young, but we did, ha, we'd definitely return but only for a few nights as we like a bit more to do in an evening

Let’s talk about the food, absolutely incredible. Vegans and vegetarians will be happy with this place. They have vegan bread, pastries and butter?? No Buffett at breakfast. Yay!!! Everting is À la carte and made to your specifications. I wish more hotels would do that. The food was perfect And served beautifully. The staff is kind, friendly, and very efficient. Wuth made sure we were given exactly what we ordered and ensured the staff is aware that my husband is vegan. Nam always greeted us with a beautiful smile and also made sure that we were well taken care of. Everyone looked like they enjoy working there, everyone has smiles. The grounds are immaculate and so are the rooms ss housekeeping is doing a fantastic job. The hotel is quiet, mature, and sophisticated. Staff pays attention to detail which is appreciated. The pool is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. This location will always be one of my favorite hotels and I know I will return.

We wanted a place away from the fray of Phuket that felt peaceful and the Sarojin delivered. You can walk or run for miles on the beach. I would go for runs in the morning and see 8 other people the whole time. There is a larger resort on the beach next to the Sarojin, but it doesn’t feel crowded and the tranquility of the Sarojin’s environment makes it feel tucked away. The pool is outstanding. The Christmas Eve dinner and Beach BBQ were beautiful. My husband said it was his favorite hotel that we’ve ever stayed at. Service was amazing. We especially loved our outing to Phang Nga with Sonya and Pol (although beautiful, be aware the stops are quite touristy) and the beach attendant Fluke. The only thing we felt could be done better was easier access to taxis or transport in the evening - I think most guests do dine at the hotel, but we wanted to explore some of the surrounding area. Thanks for a great Christmas experience!

The worst 5-star hotel ever existed In the world. Extremely disappointing. We discovered large amounts of animal droppings on the bathroom floor on the decorative stones, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. We also received very poor customer service. In addition, there were two lizards inside the room. I had to deal with one myself during the night, which was unpleasant and not something a guest should have to handle, while the other escaped. Due to these conditions, we left the room around 1am and did not stay. Finding another hotel at that time was very difficult, and the situation ruined our honeymoon experience. Despite providing photo and video evidence, the hotel refused to take responsibility and did not refund us. We stayed only a few hours and left because the room was not hygienic. I strongly advise future guests to reconsider if cleanliness and basic standards are important to you. Avoid if hygiene matters to you

Our stay at The Sarojin is hard to put into words. From the moment you walk in, it takes your breath away. It helps knowing the story of The Sarojin, and the lengths the owners Kate & Andrew went to, to truly appreciate their astonishing achievement, when on several occasions , the odds were stacked against them. The story is in a book available to read in reception, it’s well worth the half hr read. Of course, staying and dining at a 2 michelin star hotel is an incredibly fortunate thing to be able to experience, but we always like to know that the staff are looked after and happy. At The Sarojin, they truly are (again, read the book) and it was clear to see when the waiters & waitresses had a good dance to a Jazz band whilst serving us impeccable food. It was lovely to see . The hotel, the staff, the location, the food. It’s all outstanding. Respect to Kate & Andrew for bringing a slice of heaven to beautiful Khao Lak, but also for their commitment to their staff and the numerous local community projects they continue to support. We will tell everyone about The Sarojin, and we look forward to returning at some point in the future
