This was such a wonderful experience. The staff are AMAZING!!! The staff made the experience. They were the most respectful, kind, professional and hard working crew members ever. When I tell you fom front desk, room service, servers cleaning crew, dining, bar tenders DJ and the whole entertainment crew, were incredible. They worked so hard. This place was enormous and It was super clean at all times. There was always something fun to explore. The food always changing and pretty delicious. Pools were clean and ready for usage. The care that is put into your peace of mind is top tier. Give everyone a raise lol. Seriously a wonderful place to stay.

We had an amazing time at Lopesan Costa Bávaro! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and the staff truly made our stay special ( shoutout to our butler Andreas). Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. We traveled with our two children (16 months and 4 years old), and the resort was very family-friendly. The staff was incredibly kind and patient with our kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free for us as parents. The food was excellent with plenty of variety and high-quality options at every meal. Whether at the buffet or the restaurants, everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Tepanyaki was such a fun time! We also opted for the Unique upgrade, and it was absolutely worth it. The butler service added an extra level of ease and luxury to our stay, and access to the Unique restaurant and bar was a great perk with exceptional service and atmosphere. The resort itself is stunning, well-maintained, and relaxing, making it easy to fully enjoy the vacation. Overall, the combination of incredible service, wonderful staff, and amazing food made this a memorable stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to families and couples alike.

Worst all inclusive I’ve been too. Water bottles are not sealed! They don’t crack open. Only a couple of them do. Highly concerning. Staff is incredibly rude. Small hand few are nice. Went during high season and the resort was 95% booked, trying to get a reservation into a restaurant was HORRIBLE! Had to result to the buffet most nights, food wasn’t that hot. Luke warm. If you try to ask hotel management for answers they move you to the next person until nobody gets back to you and your trip is over. They really don’t care about their guests. I am shocked at the good reviews for this place. The resort was beautiful, so large that it is exhausting walking around. Guests hold chairs for beach and pool even though you aren’t suppose to..management still doesn’t do anything about it. Went with a large ground and spent a lot of money and we all left in shock at how bad this place is.

Beautiful resort with amazing amenities! The resort was exceptionally maintained and the rooms were clean. The only cons and the reason for the loss of the star is the distance to the waterpark, kids club (including daily kids activities) and theater were so far from the main part of the resort. Having golf cart transport would be nice or maybe having strollers for rent or to borrow would be good. My almost 3 year old’s little legs would tire out on the walk there and back. That being said the waterpark was amazing and great for our 5 year old! She also loved her time at the kids club with Vicky, Lisanna, and Antonia! The food and service at Mareas and El Charro was great, but the buffet and other restaurants weren’t really hitting it for us. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort to others but I’d recommend bringing a stroller and let them know they’ll need to get up at 7am in order to secure a chair by the pool or one in the shade on the beach.

We recently stayed at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino in Punta Cana and had a mixed experience overall. The Good: The resort itself is beautiful and very well designed. The grounds are spacious, clean, and visually impressive. One of the highlights for families is the water park—our kids absolutely loved it and spent hours there. There’s also a lot to do throughout the day and night: pools, beach access, entertainment, shows at the theater, bars, a nightclub, and various activities around the resort. The reserved restaurants were actually very good and ended up being some of our best meals during the stay. The breakfast buffet was also solid with plenty of options to start the day. The Bad: Some of the overall quality didn’t match the appearance of the resort. The liquor at most bars felt very cheap unless you go to a specific bar and ask for specifics. The room was decent but not great—the mini fridge barely stayed cold, and the AC took a long time to cool the room. For a resort of this level, the room quality could definitely be better. Restaurant reservations are required for the better dining options and they’re very limited, so I highly recommend booking them as soon as you arrive (or even before if possible). The resort app and reservation system are also not very intuitive. On top of that, the WiFi throughout the property was pretty unreliable at times. The Ugly: Unfortunately, the buffet dinner and the 24/7 restaurant were extremely disappointing. The food quality there was poor—soggy fries, overly fried food, and one burger even had a patty that tasted spoiled. It felt like most items were just deep-fried and overcooked. We also had a frustrating check-in situation. One of the rooms in our group was assigned incorrectly, and the baggage attendant nearly opened another guest’s room thinking it was ours. It took almost an hour to sort everything out, which wasn’t the best way to start the stay. Overall: The resort has a lot of potential because the property itself is beautiful and there’s plenty to do, especially for families. However, inconsistencies in food quality, room comfort, technology, and service issues keep it from being a truly great experience.
