We were lucky enough to come here 3 years ago & spent a week in a gorgeous Paradise King swim-up room. We were blown away by the vibrancy of the resort & so friendly! The staff, the food, the decor, the pools & the MUSIC was beyond our expectations - and the bracelet/doorkey system was innovative! We have recommended this lovely hotel to so many people and had the most amazing time...... so much so we are returning next week as a surprise for my birthday!!! Absolutely cannot wait to come again ❤️

Another wonderful week has come and gone. This was our second time at this resort and we're not disappointed. IMPECCABLE service from Laura, David, Marcello, Gambino, Eric, and Javier. ... And everyone else. To say they were excellent would be an understatement. We came to relax and floated the week away in the pool with breaks of great food and excellent service. I needed this getaway. Thank-you to all that made it memorable.

We spent five nights at the resort and loved our time there. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. From the immaculate room service, dining staff, and staff in by the pools, they were friendly and professional, going out of their way to make our stay perfect. We arrived off-season, so some of the restaurants were not always open, but the Boathouse served excellent buffet-style meals, with more options that you could ever have in one sitting. We had dinner one night in the JWB Steakhouse, and it was wonderful. I had the Argentine Chorizo and it was delicious. Others had the mahi-mahi and the sirloin and they raved about the meal. Be aware that you'll need a reservation for this restaurant, so plan ahead. The pools were also wonderful, and the service from the staff made them even better. Friendly, quick, and professional as they ran around and grabbed margaritas, Blue Hawaiians, rum and coke, or whatever. There is a restaurant out next to the pools which serves delicious fare. One additional perk is that it's a no-kids resort. Not having children around made it that much better!

RACOONS!!! Let me start with the positives: every employee we encountered was friendly and professional, and the inside of the room was great. Unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by some major issues. The first problem started immediately after check-in. The front desk told us that a gentleman in the lobby would give us a tour of the resort. What they didn't tell us was that he was actually trying to get us to attend a sales seminar. While that was annoying, the bigger issue was how intrusive he became after we declined. The seminar was scheduled for 10:30 a.m., but he repeatedly contacted us about it. He called our room early in the morning, approached us while we were eating breakfast, and when we went to the concierge to ask about restaurant reservations, they contacted him and he sent someone to guide us directly to the seminar. We finally had to firmly tell him that we were not interested. After that conversation, he followed us toward the elevator. We also noticed another employee standing near the elevator doors. The two spoke in Spanish, the employee moved away from the elevator, and they both left. We can't confirm their intentions, but the situation made us very uncomfortable. However, the biggest reason for my one-star review is what appeared to be a serious raccoon problem throughout the resort. At night, the raccoons seemed to take over the property. They were everywhere and were extremely comfortable around guests. One evening, my lady and I were relaxing on our patio, playing cards and enjoying drinks, when multiple raccoons came out of the bushes and approached us. I yelled, stomped my feet, and banged chairs together, but they showed absolutely no fear. They kept coming closer. My lady became so frightened that she ran inside and refused to return to the patio for the rest of the trip. We stayed from September 24-28, 2026, and had raccoon encounters every single night. It wasn't limited to the evenings either. While eating at LandShark during the day, we watched a raccoon approach our table without hesitation. It then moved on and literally jumped onto another guest's table while they were eating. I've never seen anything like it. We reported the issue to the front desk, but the only solution offered was to call them and someone would come try to scare the raccoon away. That did not inspire much confidence considering how fearless these animals already were. Bottom line: If you are not comfortable with raccoons regularly invading your personal space while you're trying to relax, eat, or enjoy your patio, I would strongly recommend choosing a different resort. What a fun time. Rooms were great, Staff was EXCELLENT. My wife and I ended up getting fairly sick a couple of days in. Drinks were pretty inconsistent and the Steak House was nothing to write home about. Italian place was really good and the outside restaurant was SOOOO good. Steak and Egg Tacos were BOMB. Domingo was a great bartender and full of life. It was so clean and tidy. The couples massage was pricey, but was probably worth it for everything that we got. The hydro massage was an unforgettable experience (if you're in to sweating and freezing to death in a matter of minutes). Overall we had a pretty good time. Won't go back, but I'm glad we went! Only 50ish% capacity when we were there, and we loved it. Room service was great, but the drink selections (get more White Tequila or Captain Morgan or a little better bottles) were not amazing. Once again, BEAUTIFUL resort with a Fantastic atmosphere and staff!
