Pros: The resort was lovely and spacious. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing towels in the bathroom Good drinks Frank and Lola's was delicious Landshark food was good - not many choices however Pickleball court was fun Domingo (bartender) was AMAZING! Foam Party was super fun! Cons: Pool is freezing cold!!! The balcony of our room flooded each time it rained - so we couldn't enjoy it. Mini Bar is not stocked - ridiculous process to go to the merchant store to "buy" items with credits - liquor was not included - first all inclusive resort that didn't have a stocked mini bar Buffet was not very good. Food was bland. Room service took over an hour Staff at Landshark was clearly having issues managing the few tables that were there. Multiple servers but none stopped to take orders or get drink refills etc... Need more common food option at the poolside grill. Pizza, fries, etc...

I went on a girls trip, there were 3 of us total. -Check in was pleasent and quick. - our room was always cleaned and left smelling amazing!! -We only had 4 days so we usually just went to the buffet and were pleasantly surprised with how yummy. The fish was always fresh and chicken and lunch was BBQd perfect! -The cafe had great options and was yummy! Drinks were standard, service was just okay! -grounds were beautiful and clean -always a chair available by the pool Our negatives : The music!!!! There was no spot that had a quiet area, they began music early, so even if you were by the pool early to maybe read or relax, it was loud and too upbeat to focus on a book. Totally fine - just not our vibe in the morning. We enjoyed our stay but think once was enough😅

Absolutely amazing service from arriving. Every single staff member always had a smile and went above and beyond to make our holiday special. The food choices were amazing you could never go hungry. You fancy a different drink they will make it without any issue. Big shout out to Boat house - Eric and Carlos always looked out for us and made us very comfortable Bar staff - Alain and Domingo also staff who walk around all day bringing drinks to Your sunbeds Our room cleaner - Rosario for being so kind, caring and trustworthy Landshark Licence to chill Pop up meals All staff sorry don't remember all names but so amazing. Only thing I really missed was that the beach is no longer accessible at present but some day it will be back👌 Definitely a holiday to remember. Margaritaville (Adults Only) Island Reserve is highly recommended! Myself and my group of 7 others really enjoyed our time visiting this past weekend! From the extremely clean rooms, to the beautiful pools and views, we all enjoyed every minute! The pool was definitely a highlight for us; despite being a little cold, we acclimated well enough by playing volleyball or basketball, and the frequent swims to the bar! Angel and his girls are absolutely entertaining and I enjoyed the margarita cup balancing game! The food was awesome as well; from the buffet to the Italian Frank & Lola's Italian restaurant, and also Joe's Merchant, everything was detailed and immaculate. I wish they restocked more often at Joe's Merchant, the points system was great but on the last day there was only one kind of chips and one kind of chocolate bar to choose. All bartenders and servers were kind and respectful, and I observed at how kindly they held conversations and made you feel at home and welcome. Only reason I removed one star is the little ants that are around the pool area, was a little annoying having to constantly brush them away. Not the resorts fault but maybe something to improve. (Technically I would remove half a star but there's no option- consider my rating a 4.5/5) All in all a very great location with excellent quality and service!

We wanted an all inclusive resort that was roughly 30 minutes from airport, adults only, and had beach/sand volleyball available. We were a little reluctant in selecting this resort over the other due to not having a beach.. however since it clearly showed a sand volleyball court on the resort and said volleyball in the activities description ..we went with it. Get here and to our surprise the sand volleyball court was removed. Not sure how long it's been gone, but they really need to take a few minutes and update their info on the site. It may seem silly to some.. but this was a big disappointment for us. We requested a transfer to the other (non-adult only) Margaritaville that actually has a beach. So far we have been told there is no availability.. which honestly is hard to believe. We even asked about just getting day passes. They still would not accommodate unless we paid ~$160 a person. (?!) That doesn't make any sense. We already paid. ..what difference does it make. You'd think they would want to make it right and salvage our impression in some way. I'm sorry to say..but we regret picking this resort and should have booked at a place where we have stayed before that we knew checked all the boxes except for being further from the airport. If I could have done it over again, I would have booked at El Dorado Seaside Palms. Just thought it would be worth trying something different. Aside from all that we'll admit the service and food has been pretty decent. It's just unfortunate they are not willing to make things right when our expectations were not met based on what was described /advertised. We are here for another few days and we'll make the best of it I suppose, but it's very likely we won't be returning to this resort.
