Amazing hotel and fantastic service, especially the crew at the pool who looked after our family all week. Tata Adi was a stand out, very friendly and helpful with the kids. One comment to note was the size of the twin share rooms, Luxury escapes sold this as able to sleep 4 ppl, 2 adults and 2 kids, however the twin beds are smaller than a double but larger than a king single, with only a single pillow, so I’m not sure how 4 ppl could sleep on these. The hotel was fully booked so no additional rooms however they were great at building a work around for us for the week. Would definitely come back though, we had a great experience.

I had such a delightful experience at Rue Bali! I tried the Cinnamon Roll, Chewy Dubai Cookie, Lemon & Passion Fruit Tart, and their Passion Rush drink. The Cinnamon Roll was perfectly soft and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The Chewy Dubai Cookie was surprisingly rich and satisfying, with a nice balance of chewiness and flavor. The Lemon & Passion Fruit Tart was refreshingly tangy and beautifully presented—definitely a treat for the senses. The Passion Rush drink complemented the desserts perfectly with its fruity and refreshing taste. Overall, the quality of the food and drinks is top-notch, and the cozy ambiance of Rue Bali makes it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for dessert lovers!

After many, many years of coming to Bali, we just had our first stay in Sanur. We chose to stay at Maya Sanur and we just loved it. The hotel is spacious but not massive. We had a Lagoon Pool room which was very well appointed. Lovely strong shower and separate bath and toilet with 2 sinks. Plenty of closet space. Very comfortable king bed. Plenty of seating also which was appreciated as we were travelling with friends and all 4 of us could have after dinner drinks in our room very comfortably. The staff snd service was exceptional. Everything we needed was met with genuine kindness and help. I left an item at the hotel and the staff were so helpful in getting it back to me. I couldn’t appreciate it enough. The resort is beautiful. Right on the beach with the entry off the main road so very easy walking and access to everywhere. We highly recommend the Maya. Fabulous location, gorgeous hotel, and exceptional staff and service. 10/10

Better take your money elsewhere in Sanur, there are many better choices. We stayed in the Lagoon Pool room, which commands a significant premium over other rooms in the area. Based on the hotel's own description of a "158-metre lagoon pool," we expected one continuous pool as a centerpiece of the stay. The reality is five separate, smaller sections — a material difference that is not disclosed anywhere in the hotel's marketing. The pool area receives no direct sunlight, leaving the water cold and largely unusable. The lagoon also runs alongside a public walkway, meaning there is no meaningful privacy despite what the marketing imagery implies. For the price point, the gap between what is sold and what is delivered is difficult to overlook. Future guests considering this room category should visit the lagoon area before committing to the upgrade. The service itself is very standard, there is no extra effort whatsoever to accommodate your stay. I would say the service is similar to a three star hotel. On the positive, their food is great, but that's about it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa was nothing short of excellent. The resort offers a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and outstanding service. From arrival to departure, every interaction felt warm and genuine. I'd especially like to recognize Kirana, a Front Desk trainee, for her friendly and professional approach. She was always helpful, approachable, and made guests feel truly welcome. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude did not go unnoticed. Thank you to the entire Maya Sanur team for another memorable experience. I look forward to returning in the future ☺️
