This is a nice hotel but it’s not perfect. We started in a lower room but we were very close to the driveway so it was quite noisy. We paid for an upgrade up the hill and it was much better. The views are spectacular. The room was comfortable and clean but our bed had bed bugs. We woke up every morning covered in bites. The staff were very friendly and attentive, although sometimes when we called for a buggy to drive down the buggy never showed up. The food in the restaurant is quite average. The swimming pools are great but the beach has a lot of rocks. We liked the location being quiet and peaceful but not too far away. Eat local food in town. Recommend for a couple. Get a villa if you can.

We absolutely loved staying in this hotel. We stayed there for two nights in December 2025. The pool was amazing and the food was really delicious too. The location was good too. Very calming environment which was good for relaxing. We had a staff member helping us with the luggages his name is “Naif.” He was wonderful and would greet and talk to us whenever he sees us. He is amazing. Naif if you see this, me and my partner both loved talking to you and thank you for the great hospitality provided. We will definitely visit again.

The location is the resort’s strongest selling point — all rooms are sea-facing and the views are spectacular. The property has two large pools (one with a slide) and an infinity pool with direct sea views, which are excellent for families and relaxing by the water. Rooms and cleanliness need improvement. We experienced red ants getting onto food items (even sealed chocolate), which led us to request a room change. The staff were cooperative and moved us promptly, but the underlying issue remains. The rooms feel dated: the wooden furniture and joinery (doors, bed frames) showed wear and in some places required repair. Overall room upkeep and pest control should be addressed to avoid repeat problems. Service at the property was generally good. Staff were helpful and attentive — a special mention to Thal, who was consistently kind and proactive in assisting guests. One operational gap: room service is not available after 10:00 PM, which seems odd for a resort of this size and location. Increasing late-night options would improve guest experience. Facilities are enjoyable — the pools are big and family-friendly. The slide works but feels old and could be replaced or refurbished. Pools and common areas are pleasant and well-suited for both adults and children. Transport and safety: the resort has a shuttle, but communication and frequency need work. I was not informed about the shuttle on arrival and had difficulty booking a cab from Main Road (Big C Kamala) to the resort. I had to request multiple times at reception to get dropped. The 2 km stretch between Main Road and the resort is dimly lit and a bit isolated at night, so a reliable, on-call shuttle service and clearer guest communication are important improvements. Would I recommend it? Yes — for the unbeatable sea views, pools, and helpful staff. However, if you’re sensitive to room condition, pest control, or need late-night room service and dependable transfers, consider confirming these points with the resort before booking.

We stayed here in December. To start with, the weather was good. The hotel is a bit older, but the room was good, clean, and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The view was also nice. I can say that the hotel itself is nice, but a big downside is the restaurant and breakfast—they were very poor and felt cheap. We couldn’t eat at the hotel at all; nothing was fresh and there was very little choice for breakfast. That was the only disappointing part. The staff were kind, and special thanks to the reception manager, who was very understanding. We might return someday.

Wonderful stay here. The rooms were kept very clean. Staff were lovely, friendly and very polite. The drivers, pool, restaurant staff and cleaners in particular were lovely. The reception staff could be a little more hospitalable, sometimes it felt like they weren't very bothered and there was sometimes miscommunication issues due to not completely understanding english, but it's a Thai speaking country so fair enough. The views are stunning, very serene place. We actually liked that it was far from the busy area. It is about 20 minute walk from kamala i think but this wasnt a problem for us as we hired a moped. They do have daily shuttles to kamala, 3 times a day if you want to go there in the day without walking. The breakfast was nice, they have different cuisines but i felt there could be a little more variety within those cuisines, sometimes it felt like the same things. Staff were great though. Overall a lovely stay, and even the issues are not really big issues. Not sure what people are saying in the reviews about staff being rude, we very much found the opposite and found they were great (yes reception staff could be a little more. forthcoming). For the price it's great.
