We had a lovely couple of weeks at this resort in our little family. We chose it because of how dedicated the attention is towards children, from having a separate check-in for them to providing child-friendly amenities in the rooms, a separate splash area near the restaurant and 2 separate kids clubs indoors. Our little one was very happy. And for the parents, we enjoyed really good service overall - we enjoyed the menus at the restaurant/bar, the spa offering was decent and reception was always very helpful with any queries. This is a beautiful resort with the most lovely staff. Nothing was too much for them and we were very appreciative of their hard work and how kind they were. We had some illness/health issues arise and the staff were very kind and helped with getting a doctor and doing what they could to help. The pools are lovely- the swim up bar is fab again with such nice staff! It’s a really good hotel for kids. We were upgraded to a family room and my daughter (4yo) was thrilled to see a little tent, some toys, a welcome pack and even a little step stool in the bathroom for her. There is a great kids club and good choices for them food wise. The rooms are really nice but I do need to add that there seems to be an issue with the aircon throughout. We’re not sure why, but the humidity really affects the AC and our room was absolutely dripping with condensation- even the bedding and walls were wet. Other family members medication packets disintegrated from being so damp. I was fortunate enough to get a dehumidifier for our room which I had on 24/7 and was emptying the tank every few hours as it was full of water. It seemed to be a hotel-wide issue and should be looked into as it’s not safe in terms of making the floors slippery. We were there for 10 days and if I hadn’t been provided with the dehumidifier I would have had to move us. But am grateful to the staff for helping us. The only other thing that I would warn people of is that there is a huge amount of steps. We were with my elderly dad who ended up being quite unwell/weak and we found it very hard to get him around. There’s steps into everything, inside and outside, and he couldn’t access the main pool as it was up so many stairs. So that’s something to take note of/be prepared for. It’s a great workout if you’re able bodied! The hotel itself is atop a very steep hill so use the tuk tuks to get around. Again, the staff should be commended for their excellent friendly service and for how caring they were. Thank you 🙏🏽

We had such a wonderful stay at Novotel Phuket Kata and would happily come back again! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. A special thank you to Yok, Kelly, and Mini, who handled our check-in so smoothly. They were welcoming, friendly, and professional, making us feel comfortable right away. Their kindness and attentive service truly set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was spacious, the facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect—close to Kata Beach and surrounded by plenty of great places to eat and explore. We also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful pool area. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the entire team at Novotel Phuket Kata, especially Yok, Kelly, and Mini, for making our holiday so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket and can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful family stay of two and a half weeks. The hotel has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and all the staff were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Our kids especially loved the swimming pool and had so much fun with the underwater scooters available to rent. The food was also delicious, with plenty of tasty options, and we particularly enjoyed the evenings when they had live music, which created a great atmosphere. The cocktails at the Canopy Bar were also fantastic and made the evenings even more enjoyable. A special thank you to the GM, Massimo, who was always very helpful and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back.

My wife and I, along with two friends, stayed here for 10 nights earlier this month. We all had an absolutely wonderful time here. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pools were amazing, the restaurant and bar offered plenty of choices for everyone along with delicious food and beverages, and the onsite massages and spa were superb. All staff were friendly and helpful, with a special shoutout to Motey who makes the best crepes in the world, Pla in the bar for her friendly personality and excellent cocktails, and wait staff including Sharif and Gitz. The location was excellent, as it was a short walk to Kata and Karon beaches. The free courtesy shuttle departs every half hour for the 400m journey to the beach (it's quite a steep hill to the resort!). Overall we would definitely recommend staying here and would love to visit again one day.
