We stayed here for 6 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. However, for anyone visiting at the end of May, swimming may not be very likely, as the sea was quite rough and the waves were strong during our stay. The pool was nice, and more than sufficient as an alternative to the beach. We were generally satisfied with the service, and the open-buffet breakfast was good and had enough variety for us. The main reason I’m not giving a higher rating is the room. We stayed in an “Ocean View” room, but in reality we could only see a small corner of the sea from the room :) That was disappointing and did not fully match our expectations of an ocean-view category. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and had a comfortable experience overall.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The property is beautifully located on Kamala Beach with a private beachfront area, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel facilities, including the swimming pool and fitness center, were also very well maintained. I would like to sincerely commend all staff members for their outstanding hospitality and professional service throughout my stay. In particular, I would like to extend special appreciation to Khun Oak for thoughtfully offering complimentary drinks in celebration of my birthday. I would also like to recognize Jerey, Deepu, and Bean from the Front Office team for their warm, attentive, and highly professional assistance. In addition, special thanks to Khun Oatna, the Pool Bar bartender, whose excellent drink-making skills made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

We had such a wonderful cooking class today at Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach. Before we started, the manager came over to tell us that our class would be taught by Executive Chef Chanon “Non” Yuyen, which made the experience feel even more special. Chef Non is such a friendly, enthusiastic and funny person. He took his time explaining the Thai cuisine, the different ingredients and the techniques used to prepare each dish. We didn’t just learn how to cook the dishes, but also learned a lot about the ingredients and Thai food in general. Everything was very clean, fresh and of excellent quality. The cooking class was well organized but still felt relaxed and fun. The person assisting Chef Non was also incredibly kind and helpful throughout the class. Afterwards, we got to enjoy and eat everything we had prepared ourselves, which was of course one of the best parts! We also received a certificate and had the opportunity to take photos with Chef Non. We learned so much, ate delicious food and had a lot of fun. It was a lovely and memorable experience and we would definitely recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Phuket. Thank you Chef Non and the team! 🇹🇭❤️👨‍🍳

The hotel is a bit older, but it's still clean and very well maintained. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. 🏖️🌊The pool is an absolute 10/10 the view is stunning, and it's definitely the highlight of the hotel! What made our stay even more memorable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I really appreciated their excellent service. ⚠️One thing to be aware of is the hotel's location on Google Maps. On our first day, the directions were correct, but the next day Google Maps took us to the wrong location in the middle of nowhere near Nai Yang Beach. It was about a 40 min drive from there to the actual hotel. If you're driving, make sure the destination is the hotel in Kamala Beach, near Cafe del Mar, before you start your trip. We mentioned this to the staff and they told us they're already working on fixing the issue. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a little run down. Everything is ageing. But the room itself is well equipped, clean and spacious. The room was supposed to be sea view, but I only got a glimpse of it. The breakfast buffet was nice, lots of choices. The supervisor in the dining room was very friendly and attentive, he did introduce himself, but I slipped my mind. A nice stay.
