Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa Merlin Beach

We had a wonderful stay at Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach. The resort was beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for a family vacation. The staff were warm and attentive, and we really appreciated how comfortable they made our stay. I would especially like to mention Pear from the restaurant. Pear was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Her warm smile and thoughtful service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. We really enjoyed the hotel’s amenities and the hospitality, especially the pool time with our daughter. The complimentary room upgrade was a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special. A special thank you to the hotel team for making our daughter’s birthday memorable with the complimentary room decoration and birthday cake. It was a thoughtful surprise, and we truly appreciated the effort. One area that could be improved is the vegetarian food options. We are strictly vegetarian and had mentioned this preference during booking. However, across the restaurants, the vegetarian choices were quite limited. This was especially noticeable at the breakfast buffet, where we had only 2–3 options to choose from despite the large spread. That said, the team at Merchant Kitchen was extremely helpful and receptive to our feedback. Ammy, the Manager at Merchant Kitchen, went above and beyond by providing us with a separate vegetarian menu and allowing us to order customised dishes that were not on the regular menu. Tuk, Giftzy, and the other staff members were also very helpful and made genuine efforts to make our stay comfortable. I would request the hotel to consider adding more vegetarian choices to both the buffet and à la carte menus. The masala tea could also be improved. Overall, we had a lovely family stay and were very happy with the service and hospitality. The warmth and efforts of the staff made the experience special, and with a little more variety for vegetarian guests, it would be even better.

Thankyou to Beer, Talay, Patty and Filmmy were so kind and attentive with service. All the 5 restaurants provide a variety of cuisine (thai, italian, japanese and others) with good quality ingredients and a pleasant serving size. The pool bar and rum shack Would definitely highly recommend ! Beer is absolutely lovely and often made me cocktails according to what i like , all the servers at the beach grill and pool bar are amazing and friendly - could not recommend this hotel enough

The hotel was really awesome. Rooms were clean and in generell the property was very pleasant. The staff is incredible! Especially at the Merchant Kitchen, huge thanks to Pear (thanks for the present), Ammy and another crew member which I unfortunately do not remember her name anymore but she was amazing as well! Always smiling and active working! We’ve chosen the all inclusive package and it was worth it. The food is generell is good unless you want Indian food. The hotel, (message goes to you dear Chef Anil Rawat ) needs to improve at Indian food a lot. I’ve been to Bali and had better Indian food in their resorts than here. It’s below average for sure! That’s why I need to take away the 1 star. The food did not taste like it came from a 5 star resort, instead it tasted like it came from a Imbiss . Otherwise the western, Japanese and Thai cuisines were really great, nothing to say about it.

We had such a great stay at Marriott Merlin Beach. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the whole experience was made even better by how friendly and welcoming the staff were. A special mention has to go to Patty and Filmmy, who were both absolutely fantastic. They were so friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their faces. They genuinely went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made our stay that much more enjoyable. It’s the little things like the amazing service and the staff remembering you and making you feel at home that really stand out. We would definitely recommend Marriott Merlin Beach and would love to come back again!
