Had a wonderful stay at Pullman Downtown! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the atmosphere was really nice. A special shoutout to Shone at the reception, he was incredibly kind, professional, and made us feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived. He kindly gave us a complimentary room with a lovely canal view, which made our stay extra special! Excellent customer service, great hospitality, and overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely love to stay here again!

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel for 7 nights. I think it was built around 2009, in the room it shows a bit, the windows were a bit thin, and there was some road and construction noise. The room was quite big, it featured anything we needed and some more: comfy bed, big TV, iron, iron board. The hotel is around 25 minutes from the Business Bay Metro station and also 25 minutes from the Mall of Dubai and the fountains, which is a big plus. For those travelling from Europe, there were regular sockets and we did not need an adapter. The hotel had many restaurants to choose from, we tried only one, the Couqley and it was tasty. Also, in close proximitate, there are also some 3 restaurants, we went to Zawaya 3 times 😀. The breakfast was good, there is also a menu on the table from which you can order fresh made food. Overall the breakfast was good, but with a smaller selection for the buffet than in other hotel, the compensate with the fresh food. It was nice that you could have breakfast inside, as well as outside. The pool area was nice, with Burj Khalifa and bay area view. The water was header, so you could swim all day. There are around 30 seats available and it got crowded only after 11 am. The pool bar had good drinks and food as well. There is also a happy-hour on drinks. The hotel features also a gym, which was enough for us in terms of equipment. The overall service was nice, smiling people all around and a nice feeling.

We have been staying at Pullman Dubai Downtown for three years now, usually traveling as a family of two adults and one child under 10, and each time the experience has been exceptional. This year marked our third consecutive New Year’s Eve spent on the Lolita terrace, and once again it was absolutely unforgettable. The view of the Burj Khalifa is spectacular, and the atmosphere created by the hotel team was truly amazing. What makes this hotel special for us is the people. From the reception staff to housekeeping, valet parking, and customer service, everyone treats us with genuine kindness and professionalism. After so many visits, they already know us, and they always try to help whenever possible, including offering room upgrades when available. They are consistently attentive, warm, and supportive. The restaurants are outstanding as well – the Mexican, Mediterranean, and Austrian/German options are all excellent and maintain a very high standard of quality. We truly feel at home at this hotel, and that is something rare. Pullman Dubai Downtown has become our first choice in Dubai, and we are confident we will continue to return in the years to come.

The frontline staff remained pleasant, kind, and professional despite being completely overwhelmed. I arrived at 4:30 P.M. (well past the 2:00 P.M. check-in time). I waited 10 minutes to reach the desk, only to be told to wait to "make sure the room is ready." I did not actually receive my key until a full hour after checking in. The lobby was overcrowded and had an unpleasant odor. The physical condition is poor, featuring broken, scratched floor tiles and severely stained carpets. The elevators are beat up and provide a rough, jarring ride. Completely missed the mark for a 5-star hotel. The bed was sloppily made, the chairs were stained, and there was noticeable grime trapped under the side table glass. Only 1 liter of water was provided in the room, and getting a refill proved impossible. After multiple unanswered calls to room service, I simply gave up. I understand the current difficulties going on in the area, but making allowances for that does not excuse this level of failure. I was booked for a two-day stay but packed up and checked out after just one. I expected much more from this hotel.
