An amazing family stay at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara in the UAE’s Empty Quarter. From start to finish, we felt so well looked after. A special thank you to the General Manager, who personally helped make the booking and our whole stay exceptional. Arun, our Guest Experience Manager, was absolutely amazing, the best of the best. A big thank you as well to Manish, Mahamed and the entire team. The people here really do make the difference. The upgrade to a villa was beyond words, and my family absolutely loved it. The facilities were superb, from both main pools to the gym facilities, especially the outdoor gym. We left with wonderful family memories and every reason to return. We will certainly recommend it to friends and family, and we will be back soon!

Absolutely magical experience. The staff if truly remarkable, they are kind, super attentive, easy to engage with & very personable. The made the experience wonderfully genuine. The food was superb at Suhail & breakfast. There are a handful of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options at both. I was pleasantly surprised as it’s quite remote. The non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks at the pool bar & Suhail were some of the best I have ever tasted. The villa we were upgraded to was truly stunning. All the marble, tiles, finishes, and details were gorgeous surrounding the resort. We had a very short stay but will be back to enjoy the many offerings like Ezba (animal offerings, date farm), the workout classes, walking the dunes, and many more activities. The drive is about 2-2.5 hours from Abu Dhabi airport. During the weekday it appeared to be very heavy with trucks as there seems to be a construction project creating a parallel road. The trucks are aware to let drives pass though. The weekend had much less truck traffic. It’s one a one lane road for each direction of traffic. Absolutely epic experience!

One of those places everyone should visit and experience at least once. The service was truly exceptional. We celebrated a birthday during our stay and were welcomed with champagne on arrival, while a beautiful birthday cake was waiting for us in the room. These thoughtful touches made the occasion feel even more special. The property itself is remarkable. Designed to resemble an ancient fortified desert village, with its narrow alleys, towers, and traditional architecture, it feels surprisingly authentic. It is easy to forget that you are in a hotel and not a real historic settlement. The rooms are beautifully designed and blend seamlessly into the local atmosphere while still offering every modern comfort. We also greatly enjoyed the collection of antique firearms and historical artifacts on display, which provided a fascinating glimpse into the region's past and added even more character to the experience. The restaurants were excellent, with outstanding food and impeccable service. The breathtaking dune views, the spectacular desert sunsets, the peaceful atmosphere, and the incredible night sky filled with stars created an unforgettable experience. A special thank you to the entire team, and especially to Arun. He was always one step ahead, anticipating our every need with remarkable attention to detail. Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, he struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without ever being intrusive. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. This is definitely a place we will return to.

Rooms and amenities just second to none, the views - wow. The breakfast - everything you would even want, the activities- so many and so well planned. A wonderful stay with great hospitality! We had a really enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Sasha, who welcomed us during check-in and provided excellent service throughout. She even arranged a complimentary room upgrade for us, along with welcome drinks. She also took the time to explain all the resort facilities and activities, which was very helpful. One of the highlights of our stay was the sunset camel riding experience. A big thank you to our guide Faran, who took great care of us throughout the whole experience. He shared some interesting stories about Dubai’s history, helped us take lots of photos and videos, and made sure we were comfortable along the way. The experience lasted around 1.5 hours, with about 40 minutes of camel riding, followed by sunset drinks and fresh fruit at the end. Sitting in the desert, watching the sunset and enjoying the moment was definitely something we’ll remember. Thank you to Sasha, Faran and the entire team for making our stay so special. Highly recommended!
