It’s our second time at Royal River Luxury Hotel — we came for four days last time and knew we had to come back for longer. It’s now the last day of an eight-night trip and we genuinely don’t want to go home. It’s like a little slice of paradise — so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The service is amazing, and breakfast each morning is a highlight, with views of the pool, birdsong and the occasional harpist or violinist, and Nancy looking after everyone - like a real nonna. Both the frozen cocktails and the view from the top pool are to die for too (thank you, Daly). Our River Villa is perfection - so beautiful and we’ll never get bored of swimming out to the river. Thank you Maria for keeping our room absolutely pristine. One evening, our taxi driver refused to take Apple Pay, and a member of the reception team paid for it with his own cash to help us out (of course we paid him back — and more) — but what exceptional service that was. You’ll definitely be seeing us again, Royal River. And although part of us would love to keep this place a secret, we’ll absolutely be telling all of our friends too.

Stunning hotel the photos and videos do not do it justice. Had an amazing stay to celebrate my birthday, when we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of cava and had a bottle waiting for us in the room. We got room service which arrived fast and they accommodated our vegetarian diet and made swaps where necessary. Breakfast buffet was amazing so much choice for us and the coffee is gorgeous. The private pool onto the river is stunning, the water is warm and the outside areas are perfect sun traps with the option of curtains and shade if you need it. The room itself was huge and so beautifully decorated. Staff were all so lovely and made our stay so welcoming we felt like we could ask for anything and the little perks, free tote bag and wash bags to take home as a reminder of such a wonderful stay made my day. Thank you royal river we will be back!

Something we have truly never seen before in Europe. This 5-star hideaway is a masterpiece: stunning Asian-inspired architecture seamlessly embedded in lush botanical gardens, with an exquisite attention to detail in every corner of our room. The entire concept is absolutely unique. The pool landscape - with its breathtaking, botanical swim canals - is unlike anything else. It is purely magical and incredibly relaxing. We stayed in a Pool Villa that offered complete and absolute privacy. A wholehearted recommendation! The culinary experience perfectly matches the hotel's standards. We can recommend the Italian degustation menu. You can truly feel how dedicated the service staff is to making your stay perfect; they look after you with a warmth that feels like a family hug. Thoughtful touches like the evening turndown service completed the luxury experience. What a beautiful, complete package! For those with a rental car, there is a convenient garage. The location is ideal: maximum 30 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to Av. Las Americas, and just 3 minutes to the TF1 highway. We will definitely be back!
