We had an amazing stay at Royalton Riviera Cancun for my friend’s bachelorette trip! Overall, we had a great experience and made so many fun memories. The resort itself was beautiful. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The pools were definitely one of the highlights—there were plenty of options, lots of seating, and a great atmosphere whether you wanted to relax or join in on the activities. The beach wasn’t the best, but that’s honestly expected in Cancun this time of year with the seaweed, so we weren’t surprised and still enjoyed spending time by the water. The food was okay. We tried several restaurants, and while nothing completely blew us away, we were always able to find something we enjoyed. The hibachi restaurant was one of our favorite dinners of the trip. A huge thank you to Brisa from the Vibe Team for keeping the energy up and making the activities so much fun. We loved painting turtles with her! Jesus and Armando at hibachi put on a great show and made dinner entertaining from start to finish. Carlos, the resort photographer, was so kind and captured some beautiful memories for our group. Ezekiel made pool volleyball a blast and was always encouraging everyone to join in. Braulio made our arrival and departure seamless by helping with our luggage and transportation, and we really appreciated how friendly and helpful he was. We’d also like to recognize Jaime, the casino manager, for being welcoming, professional, and helping create a fun atmosphere in the casino throughout our stay. The biggest shoutout, though, goes to Ricardo. Ricardo is, without a doubt, one of the biggest reasons our trip was as memorable as it was. From the very first day, he remembered our names, our favorite drinks, and always greeted us with the biggest smile and the best energy. He consistently went above and beyond—not because he had to, but because he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. He was always coming up with creative new drink recipes for us to try, and every recommendation somehow became our new favorite. Whether he was making incredible cocktails, checking in on us throughout the day, or simply making us laugh, he made every interaction feel personal. Hospitality like his is rare, and it’s employees like Ricardo who turn a good vacation into an unforgettable one. He deserves every bit of recognition for the outstanding service he provides. Overall, we had such a fun girls’ trip and would absolutely recommend this resort. While there are a few areas that could be improved, the staff truly made the experience special. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay memorable, and an extra special thank you to Ricardo for making our vacation one we’ll never forget!

Yessenia from the vibe team was the best from the animation team. Stefania, the waitress in the lobby was the best ever, she is so kind and lovely ♥️ Thank you to Cristian, to keep our room cleaned, he was very good. The hotel overall is not too bad, but I think some points needs to be improved. No salt on the buffet table, we had to ask the waiter to get us salt or look for it ourselves. If you want a front seat to watch the football match, you had to pay for it, so this hotel is not an all inclusive at all, no snacks on the mini bar, only if you buy the "diamond club". Very annoying because we bought an all inclusive hotel! We had to wait around 40 min for our table in the Mexican restaurant, we had it booked through the app, but the staff was letting people who arrived after us, go to the restaurant first and they had the same time booked. I was very annoyed, the food took ages to come and it wasn't good. Overall, the hotel is OK, but I wouldn't come back to this hotel, if I am back to Cancún, I would stay in a hotel with a better location, there is nothing around the hotel and the prices in the hotel shops are insane. The staff are really friendly, no complaints about them, but they seem to be under pressure because there are not enough staff working. The pools are really good and the activities during the day are very funny, but during the night is very boring, only the Michael Jackson tribute was good. Spa prices are so expensive, $ 200 dollars for a couple massage.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and the restaurants were excellent. The pools, beach, and water park were fantastic and perfect for both adults and kids. We truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Had the best week with friends at the Royalton. So many fun activities like yoga, volleyball, bingo, stretching on the beach and Guacamole classes keep you busy during the day in between beach and pool time. Evening entertainment was fun and entertaining. (I loved the silent disco night) as well as all the other shows. We stayed 7 days and were able to get 5 reservations for à la carte dining. Taj, Caribbean, zen, zen tapinaki and Hunters! Every dinner was so good with great service. Armando and Jerardi at zen we so attentive and made our experience there amazing! The entertainment team are great at keeping people having fun!

My family and I recently stayed at Royalton Riviera Cancun. Overall, we had a good vacation, but there were definitely some positives and negatives worth mentioning. The customer service throughout the resort was generally very good. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping our room clean, the employee who restocked our minibar was friendly, and the bartenders and drink servers were always pleasant. The walk-out pools were clean and one of our favorite parts of the trip. The main pools were also a lot of fun for the kids. As for the food, we only truly enjoyed the Asian restaurant and the Mexican restaurant. The buffet was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. The fresh fruit, however, was excellent and one of the highlights of the meals. I especially want to recognize our server at the Asian restaurant. I wanna say his name was Alberto. His professionalism was outstanding, and he provided the best service we experienced during our stay. Everyone else did their jobs well, but this gentleman clearly took great pride in his work and made our dining experience exceptional. Unfortunately, the beach was covered with sargassum during our stay, which made it difficult to enjoy the ocean. I understand this is largely out of the resort's control, but it was still disappointing. My biggest complaint involves the restaurant reservation process. The resort app showed a "block" that prevented us from making reservations. We were told we had to visit guest services for assistance. However, before they would help us, we were pressured into attending a hotel club/vacation club presentation. We had already been approached once before and spent nearly an hour listening to a sales pitch without realizing where it was leading. Eventually, we agreed to attend the presentation just so we could get our restaurant reservations. We were told the presentation would last 90 minutes, but it ended up taking about 2 hours. What made the experience worse was that once my wife repeatedly declined the offer, the manager became noticeably pushy and irritated. I eventually had to step in and make it very clear that we were not interested in joining the club. Guests should not feel pressured into sales presentations just to access basic services like restaurant reservations. But the guy doing the presentation was a decent guy, just not what were into buying at the time. Overall, we enjoyed parts of our stay, especially the pools, the Asian restaurant, and the hardworking staff. However, the reservation process and aggressive vacation club sales tactics left a negative impression on what otherwise could have been a much better experience. And yes I did use AI to brush up what I needed to say respectfully.
