The location was amazing, and the services were very good. The pool was great and clean, and the beach was wonderful. Regarding the buffet, some days had limited options, but the food tasted excellent every time. The only downsides were that the bathroom was quite small and the mattress was a bit hard. However, the staff truly made a difference—they are top-notch and highly professional. Even when a problem occurred, they responded and resolved it incredibly fast. Overall, it was a great stay!"

The staff were friendly and always helpful, the food was great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at Old Palace Resort Sahl Hasheesh. Everything was excellent – the hotel, the food, the beach, the rooms, and the overall atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. We would especially like to thank Ayman, the waiter in the main restaurant. He was very kind, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, making every meal even more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic holiday. We had a wonderful and unforgettable stay at **Old Palace Resort Sahl Hasheesh in Hurghada** from 30 May to 10 June 2026. Our room was 1107. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed in this beautiful hotel by the **Rooms Director, Mr Wael**. As one of us had mobility difficulties, we were kindly given a ground-floor room, which made our stay much easier and more comfortable. The hotel staff showed great care, kindness and attention to our needs throughout our stay. The reception team was always polite, helpful and professional. Every matter was handled with patience, understanding and genuine kindness. We would also like to express our special thanks to the **Head Chef, Mohamed El Tayeb**. He was always present, smiling and attentive, and it was clear that he approaches his work with true passion. He has created a wonderful team in the restaurant. Despite being very busy, the staff — including **Chef Ayman Abdel Waged** — were always smiling, kind and helpful. The food was very good, varied, fresh and beautifully presented. The aromas, colours and decorations encouraged us to try many different dishes. We spent the longest time in the desserts section, because someone with a sweet tooth like me truly had plenty to choose from. We especially appreciated the smiling bakers and pastry chefs, who were always happy to help and recommend Egyptian delicacies — including **Chef Ahmed Haridy**. The waiters were also always smiling, kind and helpful. We truly appreciated the warm atmosphere, cleanliness and the effort of the entire team to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The hotel has a beautiful location. During our stay, we learned that Sahl Hasheesh is one of the most prestigious and premium locations on the Red Sea. The hotel has a wonderful beach and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Another great attraction is the promenade and the surrounding area of Sahl Hasheesh, which we enjoyed exploring in the evenings. During the day, we enjoyed the sunshine, the beautiful clean sea water and the pleasant sea breeze. What made our stay special was not only the place itself, but above all the people who work there. Their kindness, professionalism and hospitality made us feel safe, comfortable and genuinely welcomed. We would like to sincerely thank Mr Wael, the reception team, the Head Chef, the restaurant staff, housekeeping and everyone who contributed to our enjoyable stay. I have been coming here twice a year since 2015 and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The welcome from the staff when you arrive is sincere and all the staff are friendly, professional, from the reception team, the porters who take you to your room, the restaurant staff who look after you, the pool guys - everyone is great. The food is buffet style so you can always find something, and although I have no food allergies I have seen the care the head chef takes with people who have. The location and facilities are excellent with two pools to choose from and a fantastic beach front as well. The house keeping staff keep the place clean and tidy and the ground staff look after the gardens well. I can’t recommend the Old Palace enough
