The property is beautiful and the drinks are excellent, but unfortunately our experience at Secrets Cozumel has been disappointing in almost every other way. Our first dinner took over two hours, and slow service has been a consistent theme throughout our stay. Every restaurant requires you to scan a QR code rather than providing physical menus, and the digital menus are not even up to date, which makes ordering unnecessarily frustrating. We have also experienced stomach issues during our stay, which is concerning. On top of that, we had a maintenance issue in our room on our very first night and found management to be dismissive when we raised concerns. To make matters worse, we can hear street noise from our room in the middle of the night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The dock situation has been particularly frustrating. There is a $10 per person, per day fee just to walk down the dock and board a boat, which feels excessive and unjustified. The dock security guard has been aggressive and confrontational about this fee on multiple occasions, which has been genuinely uncomfortable. Management has been unhelpful and dismissive at every turn. The resort has real potential, but between the service, food quality, noise, and the attitude of certain staff, it is difficult to recommend.

My husband and I love this resort! We came for our honeymoon and the service here is amazing! The food is excellent too with lots of fancy restaurants and also great coffee shops. All of the workers are so sweet especially our coffee lady Esther she is so sweet! We loved our stay here and they were all so helpful. We loved all of the pools and room service and all of the drinks and swim up bars. Also they have tons of excursions we loved the three reefs snorkeling. We would recommend staying here! The only thing is we experienced some trouble with wifi in our room

Cozumel was beautiful. The hotel needed an upgrade a little run down. Our shower leaked water into the bedroom and our room smelled of mildew which got me ill. However, the staff was courteous and very friendly. We meet the best entertainment that made sure we had a good time in spite of the short comings. If you go please look for WENDY; she is top notch entertainment program guru. My family loved her and hanging with her was the highlight of our day. As for Secret Aura Cozumel this property did not uphold the secret resort standards.

Thank you Secrets for an amazing week! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was magical. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay stress free. Shoutout to the entertainment staff, especially Luz, Wendy, and the nightclub dj!! We had so much fun and look forward to our next visit!

This resort was mediocre at best. Resort is definitely older and needs a good face lift. Room was comfortable and clean, but scratched mirror, chipped tiles, door did not seal to the outside, and the AC struggled to keep the room below 75. Food was fine, but limited options and the buffet is very small. They told us up front they close 2 restaurants per night so we knew that. Did have to wait an hour plus for Gohan and Bordeaux but that was the best food. Wished they would have given us a map of the hotel. Narrow beach area and difficulty getting beach chairs at the preferred club. Since we were so close to the water, we got a reflection sunburn from the ocean while sitting in the shade. Beach is rocky but snorkeling conditions are great with fish in waist deep water. All staff were very nice, but calling for housekeeping or maintenance from the room was a challenge. Had to call housekeeping twice to get the appropriate amount of towels and maintenance four times to get our toilet unclogged. Fire show was very impressive. Easy to get pool chairs at all the pools even in early afternoon.
