We had an amazing stay at Maroma Beach! The resort is conveniently located just a short drive from Cancun International Airport, making travel easy and stress-free. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered beautiful views of the pools, grounds, and ocean. We highly recommend upgrading to the Preferred Club—it was well worth it for the added amenities and outstanding service. What truly made this vacation special was the incredible staff. Josue at the Cocoa Café made every morning better with excellent coffee and a warm smile. Hector and the entertainment team kept everyone engaged throughout the day, and the nightly shows were fantastic—don't miss the Asado Fire Show! The dining options were excellent, and Freddie at the World Café always made us feel welcome. Our couples massage with Selene and Alexandra was one of the highlights of our trip, and Lucia made the hydrotherapy experience relaxing and enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Patricia from housekeeping, Roger our Preferred Club concierge, Marrissio for keeping our room stocked, Antonio C. for outstanding beach service, and Zayda, whose kindness and professionalism truly exemplify world-class hospitality. There was some seasonal seaweed during our visit, but the resort worked continuously throughout the day to keep the beach clean, and we appreciated their efforts. Overall, this was an exceptional vacation. The beautiful property is impressive, but it's the people who truly make Maroma Beach a destination worth returning to. We can't wait to visit again!

All inclusive Secrets Maroma. This is an adult only vacation spot. You are away from the main stream and fairly isolated. This is not in the hotel zone. Multiple restraints to choose from. Dress codes are enforced for each of the different restaurants. Food is very good and the service is excellent. From the moment you walk into the resort you feel welcome. Staff are all friendly and happy to help with your needs. Pool areas are crowded and you do want to get your spot early as they do fill up quickly. Clean and very beautiful. We celebrated our 25th anniversary and they had a bottle of Champagne in the room waiting for us and a banner on our door. Every building has a concierge if you need any help, as well as the ones in the main building. You will be asked to join the Unlimited Vacation Club, and they are part of the World of Hyatt. You can say no without any problems. We have enjoyed being members and had had great vacations through this club.

Our stay at Secrets Maroma was simply incredible. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved this resort and cannot wait to come back! What truly made this experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff. We would especially like to recognize Mr. Domingo at the French restaurant. His service was second to none—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made us feel completely at home, and he was actually the reason we were the only restaurant we visited twice during our stay. We specifically went back because of him! If you have the opportunity, we highly recommend asking for Domingo. He will make your dining experience truly special. We would also like to thank Mr. Freddy at the World Café. His attention to detail was outstanding, and he was always attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure everything was perfect. We found ourselves asking for him every time we visited because we knew we would receive exceptional service. Another team member who deserves special recognition is Mr. Miguel at Seaside Grill and Oceana. His kindness, sweetness, and genuine hospitality made every meal even more enjoyable. He was absolutely wonderful and left a lasting impression on us. We would also like to give a special shoutout to Chef Francisco at Hibachi. He is, without a doubt, the best hibachi chef we have ever experienced. Not only was the food outstanding, but the show he put on was absolutely incredible—fun, engaging, and truly unforgettable. He made the entire experience one of the highlights of our trip. Beyond the outstanding staff, the resort itself is impeccable. The facilities are beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, the food is truly on another level, and the entertainment shows were so much fun. One thing we also greatly appreciated was how convenient it was to book excursions and activities. The resort has knowledgeable and professional staff on-site who can help arrange tours and experiences, making the process seamless, safe, and stress-free. It gave us peace of mind knowing we were booking through trusted experts, and it allowed us to enjoy some truly unforgettable experiences during our stay. We came to Secrets Maroma to relax and celebrate our anniversary, and the experience surpassed everything we were hoping for and more. Exceptional Service Culture at a Beautiful Resort My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Secrets Maroma Beach end of May 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What stood out most was the exceptional friendliness of the entire staff. From the concierge team to beach service, housekeeping, restaurant staff, and everyone else we encountered, we were consistently greeted with smiles, professionalism, and genuine customer care. While a few individuals deserve special recognition, the truth is that the exceptional service culture extended throughout the entire resort. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, a stunning beach, and a relaxed atmosphere. Our focus was less on pool bar activities and more on enjoying the beach, the resort, and the dining experience. The quality of the food in the à la carte restaurants, particularly the Italian and French restaurants, exceeded our expectations. What impressed us most was the consistency of the service culture. As world travelers who have stayed at many resorts across North America, Europe, Africa, and other parts of the world, we can honestly say that this level of friendliness and genuine customer care is something special and increasingly rare. In our view, this should actually be the standard for a premium resort. Unfortunately, many hotels have either forgotten this principle or have started treating exceptional service as something guests must pay extra for. Secrets Maroma delivered exactly what we expect from an outstanding resort: professional service, genuine friendliness, attention to detail, and a sincere commitment to making guests feel welcome. There were only two minor downsides. The pool area was not ideal for swimming, at least from our perspective. The pools are relatively shallow, and most guests seemed to prefer relaxing, socializing, and enjoying drinks in the water rather than using the pools for swimming. Perhaps an opportunity for improvement would be to offer distinct pool areas—one focused on relaxation and socializing, and another designed for guests who enjoy more active swimming. Maybe this is simply a European preference, but as enthusiastic swimmers, we would certainly appreciate such an option. Secondly, there was an above-average amount of seaweed during our stay. This is obviously not a hotel issue but rather a broader environmental challenge affecting much of the Caribbean coastline. A solid 10/10 experience at Secrets Maroma Resort. Food and amenities are great, service is AMAZING. Everyone we met had bright smile shining on their face, we felt so welcomed and appreciated. I've got a taste of variety but this resort makes me wanna go back again. Special thanks to our concierge Roger, he made this place a home away from home, and we felt so lucky to stay in his building. I'd especially like to mention the housekeepers we never even met -- they were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Unlike some resorts, their service never felt forced or overly performative. They simply went above and beyond in doing their jobs, making our entire stay ultra comfortable.
