This is our second stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown, and once again, it has been a wonderful experience. Of course, we had a few small issues during our stay—as can happen anywhere—but what really makes the difference is how the team handles them. The staff was always responsive, professional and genuinely helpful. The breakfast is, without a doubt, one of the best we’ve experienced. There is variety of food, plenty of seating options, and the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed. We also loved the newly renovated swimming pool on the 5th floor, which is a great addition compared to our previous stay. The Kids Club right next to the pool is another highlight. A special thank you to Ms. Elaine from the Kids Club. She is truly a gem. She welcomed our family with such kindness and warmth, and you can genuinely feel her passion for taking care of children. Our kids mainly speak French, yet she made every effort to communicate with them, play with them and make them feel comfortable. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. Dubai Mall is just a pleasant 15-minute walk away, with a pedestrian bridge only a few steps from the hotel. It’s also conveniently close to the Museum of the Future, Dubai Frame and Deira, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly exceptional stay at Sofitel Downtown Dubai! ❤️ A huge thank you to Abira - Amira and Khushboo from Front Office for making my stay so special. They arranged the cutest surprise and prepared a beautiful room on the 19th floor with an amazing Burj Khalifa view. 🥰 also on the pool Kelvin from FB team were friendly and were taking care about my accor welcome drinks!!! Lovely service 2 floor from lounge name of waiter was Mart thanks for help! As an ALL Accor Diamond member, I’ve stayed in many hotels, but the attention to detail here was absolutely number one. The amenities, decoration and personal touches were incredible. And the details! They even prepared a beautiful bath 🛁 with flowers and a mirror note. Such a lovely surprise and such a high level of service! ✨ Thank you, Abira and Khusbo, for making my stay unforgettable. Hotel is good but the service was absolutely terrible. How they are surviving in hospitality is beyond me. From the moment we arrived, they asked us to leave our car at a specific spot as the valet was full and didn’t even give a ticket for the valet. Then we had to wait more than 30 minutes to check in due to the incompetence of the reception staff - this after informing them that my wife is pregnant and we have an infant. Room service? More like No service. We asked for an extra bed, they promised to bring it and delayed it. Even a basic request like dental kit was met with unreasonable delays. On our last day, I requested them to bring the breakfast up to our room as our 4 year old daughter fell sick from the previous night with fever (we already paid for the breakfast), they said they couldn’t do it and we had to order breakfast again! I understand they were overbooked, I’ve been to hotels and resorts which were overbooked before as well… but this was a pure example of poor management and lack of competence from top to bottom. Be careful before booking and always remember, if the price looks too good, there could be a catch…

Our stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown was truly unforgettable. A very special thank you to Abir, whose kindness, generosity, and genuine care made one of the most important moments of our lives even more beautiful. From the very first email, she treated us not just as guests, but as family. Her thoughtfulness and heartfelt words are something we’ll never forget. Thank you as well to Chef for the wonderful Italian dinner and the unforgettable tiramisu, and to Trisha and the entire team for your warm hospitality and exceptional service. Thank you for helping create memories we’ll remember for a lifetime. We can’t wait to return.

Had a brief overnight stay at Sofitel Downtown. Check-in process was smooth and prompt. My loyalty status was acknowledged and was upgraded to a Burj Khaleefa View room. The room was very large and well equipped. The bed mattress was not the most comfortable despite me not being so picky about mattresses but it was not to the extent where a complaint was warranted. I am sure the hotel is well equipped with restaurants and facilities but unfortunately did not have the time to experience them. Hopefully on another visit
