Huge resort with many spacious and well-maintained common areas. A central bar with live shows every evening, plus scheduled entertainment activities throughout the day. Recently renovated; my room was spacious, very clean, with an excellent bathroom and a large balcony. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were plentiful, offering a wide variety of options for all tastes, including live cooking stations with chefs preparing fresh meat or fish on the spot, or eggs in the morning. Outdoor pools right by the beachfront, as well as a heated indoor pool available during the winter season. The gym is adequate and open 24 hours. The staff is extremely friendly and kind.

This hotel has been wonderfully refurbished since our last stay a few years ago. We loved the modern improvements. The hotel is spotless with housekeeping providing an excellent service. All tastes are catered for in the dining room, we enjoyed the food. We give thanks and appreciation to all the hard working staff in every area of this resort ensuring guests have a lovely holiday. To me it was so nice, that I immediately booked again. I just couldn't find a better one. The closeness to the airport is a plus. There is an indoor pool, a playground, fireplaces, many sitting areas and conference rooms. Don Pedro, Don Pablo and Don Marco belong together. So we could use the facilities of all 3 of them. The staff was nice, the food was more than enough. Our stay was just amazing from all perspectives.

Great place to stay, with a few exceptions. No air con until April. No tea making facilities in the he room unless you pay extra. Only 1 restaurant until April,with breakfast the exception 3 days a week. Restaurants are self service, sometimes turns into a bun fight. Rooms are very good, staff great and in a great place.

Came for a special short break. Booked direct with their website a "Sol Room" which is basically an oversold budget room. Far from being "Bathed in natural light" it was North facing blocked by an Eastern wing. As for having all the facilities for a comfortable stay, there are no usb-c chargers despite a recent re-wire, no kettle, no courtesy water on arrival (no doubt the 20 cents it would cost would eat into the shareholders profits) and a tiny bed. And a disgusting bathroom which looks like they let lose a 6 year old with a mastic gun. Full of mould, scale and pealing seals. And a toilet seat that doesn't even fit. No toiletries other than industrial sized product pumps. Yes they offer stuff at reception but who is going to go their to get a mini bar of soap, cotton bud, etc in the middle of the night? This is not the 4 star experience I was expecting. The breakfast had very poor quality food, reformed bacon, bad sausages, no baked tomatoes but at least there was a friendly egg chef to cook fresh eggs. Also good bean to cup coffee machines and good selection of cakes. The juices were left too long and separated, they need a stir with a ladle. The dinner experience was better but they did not take our drinks order and plates were left to pile up during the entire meal. Indoor pool was great but very limited capacity considering the size of the hotel. Overall, I felt like a number not a customer. If you like corporate beige hotels then this is the hotel for you but for me it seems like nothing more than a corporate cash cow. As someone old enough to remember this hotel in its heyday, this was a very sad experience and one which I will not be repeating. Goodbye Melia, you won't be missed.
