We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday in Egypt, and one of the biggest highlights of our stay was the incredible care and friendliness shown by the staff throughout the entire complex. From the moment we arrived, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and looked after. Every request was handled quickly and with a genuine smile, and it was clear that guest comfort really mattered to them. The level of attentive care made a huge difference to our experience and helped create a relaxed, stress-free holiday. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, who brought so much energy and warmth to each day. In particular, Ellie – an English member of the team – truly stood out. She was friendly, approachable and always happy to chat, but also incredibly informative about the activities and what was happening around the resort. What really impressed us was how naturally she encouraged people to get involved, making everyone feel comfortable, included and welcome, no matter their age or confidence level. Ellie’s enthusiasm and positive attitude helped create a fun and sociable atmosphere, and she played a big part in making our holiday so memorable. Overall, the combination of attentive staff and a genuinely friendly, engaging entertainment team made our stay feel extra special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

It’s very good – I am very happy with this resort! Everyone is so nice, and I feel absolutely great here. HAZEM, the waiter at the pool bar, is the best! Also, I have allergy problems, and the staff is extremely kind and very careful to make sure nothing happens. They really pay attention and take great care of everything. This was truly one of the best vacations of our lives. We stayed at SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort with two small children, including a 1.5-year-old baby, and we felt comfortable, welcome, and cared for during our entire stay. The hotel territory is beautiful, spacious, very clean, green, and perfectly maintained. The sea was amazing — warm, crystal clear, with a sandy entrance, which was perfect for children. We also really appreciated that there were lifeguards at every pool, which made us feel safe and relaxed. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. In the restaurants, employees always helped us with baby chairs and were so warm and friendly with the children. Special thanks to the beach staff member who brought us drinks every day — such a positive and wonderful person who made our days even better. The animation team was fantastic, the desserts were absolutely delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and joyful. We also want to thank the reception staff for always helping quickly with any questions. Before our flight, the hotel kindly allowed us to stay 3 extra hours so the children could rest before traveling, and we were also allowed to have lunch. This level of care meant so much to us. Thank you for such a beautiful holiday and unforgettable memories. We will definitely come back again 🤍

Our stay at Sunrise Royal Makadi was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel offers everything needed for a perfect holiday – comfortable rooms, delicious food, beautiful pools, and a stunning beach. What truly made this vacation special was the animation team. Huge thanks to Lukas, Ellie, Kareem, Lena, Katie, Fadi, and Kimo for bringing so much joy, fun, and positive energy every single day. They always encouraged guests to join activities without being pushy and created a friendly atmosphere where everyone felt included.

We stayed at Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort in Hurghada from 17.5 to 24.5 and had an amazing experience. From the first day until the last, we felt welcomed and treated like family. We would especially like to thank manager Mostafa Lotfy, who was extremely kind and caring towards us during our stay. His professionalism and warm attitude made our vacation even more special. The entire staff from the waiters to the chefs were incredibly friendly and kind to us and our son. Everyone was always smiling, helpful, fast, and very attentive. We truly appreciated how clean and organized everything was. The food exceeded our expectations and there was a huge variety and everything was delicious. We were also very impressed by the cleanliness of the whole resort including the pools which were always spotless and well maintained. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the weather during our stay was perfect. Another wonderful surprise were the massages at the resort spa which were truly amazing and very relaxing. We would also like to thank the housekeeping staff. Our housekeeping man was extremely kind and kept leaving us lovely surprises in the room which made us smile every day. Special thanks once again to all the waiters for their excellent service. They were always very helpful, quick, professional, and clean. This resort gave us unforgettable memories and we would gladly come back again.
