Absolutely fantastic. Great rooms, lovely pools and having an adults only area is great. The whole resort is beautiful and so well kept. Great variety of food for all meal times, plus the snack bar is great too. The Animation team go above and beyond to get you involved in all activities during the day and there shows on Fridays are fantastic. Got to know all the team but Ellie is one of the best with a smile on her face whenever we see her. Has made our stay here extra special. Will miss everyone when we leave but already looking forward to coming home very soon.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday in Egypt, and one of the biggest highlights of our stay was the incredible care and friendliness shown by the staff throughout the entire complex. From the moment we arrived, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and looked after. Every request was handled quickly and with a genuine smile, and it was clear that guest comfort really mattered to them. The level of attentive care made a huge difference to our experience and helped create a relaxed, stress-free holiday. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, who brought so much energy and warmth to each day. In particular, Ellie – an English member of the team – truly stood out. She was friendly, approachable and always happy to chat, but also incredibly informative about the activities and what was happening around the resort. What really impressed us was how naturally she encouraged people to get involved, making everyone feel comfortable, included and welcome, no matter their age or confidence level. Ellie’s enthusiasm and positive attitude helped create a fun and sociable atmosphere, and she played a big part in making our holiday so memorable. Overall, the combination of attentive staff and a genuinely friendly, engaging entertainment team made our stay feel extra special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We’ve just returned from an incredible two-week stay at Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort, including New Year’s Eve, and once again the experience was outstanding. We stayed here last year for New Year and loved it so much we had to return — and it did not disappoint. The hotel is immaculately clean, with staff working tirelessly day and night. Our room was perfectly located near the pools and beach, and our room cleaner Amr was exceptional — always polite and leaving lovely towel and petal surprises on the bed. We spent most days on the beautiful beach, where Mahmoud went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and well hydrated, regularly bringing drinks so we didn’t need to leave our sunbeds. Zahiur, the lifeguard in the adults-only beach area, was excellent — professional, friendly, and even remembered our names from the first meeting. The animation team were fantastic, full of energy from morning until night. Special thanks to Shika for always checking in on us, Ellie for being a great and friendly addition to the team, and Crush for the laughs (and his dangerously addictive card game!). The restaurants were excellent with great food and service throughout. Most evenings we relaxed in the adults-only reception bar, where Ahmed looked after us brilliantly — he remembered our drinks almost instantly and always brought great banter. A real credit to the hotel. We met many returning guests, which says everything about this amazing resort. Huge thanks to all the staff for another unforgettable holiday — we’ll definitely be back again this year 😉🌴

It’s very good – I am very happy with this resort! Everyone is so nice, and I feel absolutely great here. HAZEM, the waiter at the pool bar, is the best! Also, I have allergy problems, and the staff is extremely kind and very careful to make sure nothing happens. They really pay attention and take great care of everything. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! 😊

Our stay in Sunrise Royal Makadi resort was wonderful. The hotel has a big set of pools with several of them being heated which is great in cooler winter months. The hotel includes a private beach which has some nice corals for those who enjoy snorkeling. The buffet lunches and dinners are very tasty, with great variety: fish, Egyptian dishes, shrimps, outdoor grill, large selection of desserts etc. You can also book thematic restaurants for dinner: Italian, Asian, Mexican etc. There are multiple activities that you can partake in: volleyball, pétanque, archery, hotel gym, and there are also evening shows: acrobats, fire show etc. The main highlight is the staff which is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are also surprisingly linguistically skilled: many of them speak Czech, German, English
