⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Service from a lovely Barman – El Karma Beach Resort, Hurghada We would like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful barman Ahmed who looked after our family of ten many times during our stay at El Karma Beach Resort. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly kind, friendly, helpful and attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure our family was happy and well looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always there with a smile, ready to help and make sure we had everything we needed. It is people like him who make a holiday special. His kindness, professionalism and dedication really stood out, and our family are so grateful for everything he did for us. He is a credit to El Karma Beach Resort, and we hope the hotel recognises what a fantastic member of staff they have. Thank you for helping to make our family holiday so happy and memorable. We're coming to the end of our holiday. Was really sceptical after seeing so many reviews and was going to change hotel but glad we didn't. Our room is the first block by the main building at the front. The room is spacious and the morning sun on the balcony is lovely. There are a few maintenance issues but it's kept clean by Ezzat, what a lovely man he is. Takes the time to speak to us each morning and always makes sure we have clean towels and bedding. The pools are great, we've been round each one and the lifeguards will find a sunbed if none are available. The lifeguards are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. There was one man on the coffee machine by the main building who shouted at me for doubling up a cup of tea for my daughter. It was too hot for her to hold so I just got an extra cup and he really shouted and embarrassed me then he closed the bar in a sulk 🤣 stayed clear of him since! The main person for us, showing his genuine heart it the man by the beach, Nasem. He always has a smile, constantly happy and real great energy. I can't remember is name but he's so lovely and a real credit to the hotel. Such a kind soul ❤️ The food has been repetitive and a bit limited for younger kids but we've always found something to eat. The Indian restaurant is delicious! The spirits aren't great but beer is nice. We got hassled quite a lot on the first week for trips, spa, massages etc but they seemed to move on after the first week and not bother us. Overall, we've had a really relaxing two weeks. If you have doubts about coming, please don't. It's honestly not been as bad as we expected and the good has outweighed the few negative niggles.

Very good hotel with great staff. We stayed by the regular pool and built up a good rapport with the lifeguard, Moumen, as you can see in the photo. He always kept the area clean and was ready to help with anything he could. The staff overall were really helpful and supportive throughout our stay. The only negative was that the extra services were offered quite frequently, even after saying no. However, it’s something you can cope with. Overall, we had a very good holiday!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at EL Karma Aqua Beach Resort and couldn’t fault the experience! The food was lovely, with a great variety rotated every day, and everything was fresh, including the salads. Housekeeping was regular, and the cleanliness throughout the resort was excellent, with cleaning taking place throughout the day. The maintenance team also deserves a special mention for keeping everything in such good condition. A huge thank you to all the staff, especially the bar staff, restaurant team, pool staff and lifeguards, who were all exceptional. Their friendliness, hard work and dedication really made our stay special. It’s the people who make a holiday memorable, and the team here certainly did that. Thank you to everyone at EL Karma Aqua Beach Resort for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily return! ❤️

2 Stars – Disappointing Experience I’m giving this hotel 2 stars because not everything was terrible. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the housekeeping staff are very friendly. The beer is also decent, although it is served in tiny 200 ml glasses that are often half full of foam, so you constantly have to keep going back for more. Unfortunately, almost all the other staff members are rude, unfriendly, impatient, and unpleasant. Their favourite phrase is “Wait 5 minutes,” and after those 5 minutes, you are told to wait even longer while they continue doing their own things. The pool bar staff are particularly disappointing. They pressure guests into leaving positive reviews and taking selfies with them. If you refuse, their attitude changes immediately, and they become rude and hostile. Do not be fooled by all the positive reviews and selfies with the bartenders. In my experience, these interactions do not reflect the actual quality of the service. I have never encountered such unpleasant staff at any other hotel I have visited. There is a wide variety of food, but the snack bar is very poor. At first, the food seems fine, but the flavours and dishes become repetitive, and after a few days, you are completely fed up with the same food. Cleanliness and hygiene also need significant improvement, and there are many unpleasant smells around the hotel. The entertainment is almost nonexistent and very poorly organised. Activities advertised by the hotel often do not even take place. Another major issue is that staff members constantly ask for tips, which makes the whole experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, despite the friendly housekeeping staff and decent beer, the poor service, hygiene issues, repetitive food, and lack of entertainment make this hotel a very disappointing choice. We definitely would not return, and we would not recommend this hotel to others.
