I recently stayed at **Swissôtel Al Ghurair Dubai** for **8 nights** as an **Accor Platinum member**, and my experience was a mix of exceptional hospitality from several team members and disappointing service in a few important areas. First, I would like to sincerely thank the outstanding staff who made my stay enjoyable. **Raiba, Saber, and Mustafa** from the Front Office were consistently warm, professional, and eager to help. Every interaction with them was pleasant, and they always greeted guests with genuine smiles while handling requests efficiently. They truly represent the level of hospitality expected from a five-star hotel. A special appreciation also goes to **Debi** from the restaurant, who provided excellent service throughout my stay. Debi was attentive, courteous, and always ensured guests were well looked after. Likewise, **Hema** from the Executive Lounge deserves recognition for her exceptional hospitality, friendly nature, and willingness to go the extra mile. Team members like these are the reason guests return. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment during my stay was the **housekeeping department**. For a hotel carrying the Swissôtel and Accor luxury brand, the housekeeping standards fell well below expectations. The most frustrating issue was something as basic as **drinking water**. Despite repeatedly requesting **three bottles of water**, housekeeping frequently delivered only **one bottle**. This happened on multiple occasions during my eight-night stay, forcing me to make repeated follow-up calls for such a simple request. Guests should never have to chase housekeeping repeatedly for basic amenities. I believe the housekeeping department requires much stronger supervision, better training, and greater attention to guest requests. The inconsistency in service does not reflect the standards expected of a five-star property. Management should seriously review the performance of this department and take corrective action to ensure the guest experience matches the hotel's premium positioning. As an **Accor Platinum member** staying for **eight nights**, I was also hoping for a more meaningful room upgrade, subject to availability. While I understand upgrades can never be guaranteed, I expected greater recognition of elite status during such a long stay. Overall, my experience was saved by the excellent Front Office, Restaurant, and Executive Lounge teams, whose professionalism deserves full credit. However, the housekeeping department significantly affected what could otherwise have been an outstanding stay. I hope the hotel management recognizes the exceptional work of **Raiba, Saber, Mustafa, Debi, and Hema**, while also taking meaningful steps to improve housekeeping standards. With improvements in that area, Swissôtel Al Ghurair has every opportunity to deliver the truly five-star experience that guests expect. One suggestion: rather than saying the housekeeping head "should be replaced and sent to a 3-star hotel like Ibis," it's more likely to be taken seriously if you focus on the service failures and the need for management action. That keeps the review firm, credible, and more persuasive.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best breakfast buffets I've had! Al Liwan Restaurant offers an amazing variety of food, from traditional Arabic breakfast and international dishes to fresh pastries, cheeses, fruits, cereals, live egg stations, and healthy options. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and constantly replenished. A special thanks to Khalid for his excellent supervision. You can really see his dedication in the way the restaurant is managed. He was attentive, professional, and made sure every guest was well looked after, which made the whole dining experience even better. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly, and the quality of both the food and service is outstanding. If you're looking for a breakfast buffet with something for everyone, Al Liwan Restaurant is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

I visited this hotel for my birthday dinner with my wife and friends, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared to a high standard. What made our evening even more special was the excellent service provided by Jafeboy. He was friendly, attentive, and ensured that everything was perfect throughout our visit. His professionalism and hospitality truly stood out. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday celebration memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service.

The location and facilities are amazing. It was almost a perfect experience, if it wasn’t for the very aggressive tone of a staff member named Mustafa. We extended our stay and paid the tourist tax, but nobody had explained to us that it was supposed to be paid daily. Because of this, our key card was blocked. We went to reception thinking we had just grabbed the old card by mistake. When I asked Mustafa for a new card, he was extremely rude and claimed we hadn't paid anything, even though we had already been staying there for more than five days. He had no patience to explain the tax policy to us and treated us like idiots. This man does not respect guests, or at least, he does not respect women. I am only giving this review 2 stars to be fair to the female receptionists, Raiza and Hanu, who helped me a lot. They were kind and thoughtful, and I will always be thankful for their help.

Seeing her face light up — with our daughter excitedly clapping along — was a moment we will cherish forever. It is rare to see a hotel go that extra mile for their guests, and it meant the world to our family. The location is convenient and well-connected, making it easy to get around whether for sightseeing or leisure with kids. Overall, a 5-star experience. The warmth, care, and attention to detail shown by the entire team — especially Mr. Damien — made this a family holiday we will always treasure. We will definitely be back!
