Check-in Experience The resort is easy to find and access, which is a plus. Valet parking for guests was a nice touch and worked smoothly. The front desk experience, however, left a lot to be desired. There are only 3 check-in counters, and only 2 were operational during our visit. I noticed the third counter was empty and went over, only to be told by the staff member there that he was busy with something else and couldn’t assist. Our check-in time was 3 PM, and we arrived around 3:15 PM. Ms. Ishpreet handled our check-in formalities professionally. However, after completing the payment, we were informed that our room wasn’t ready and we’d need to wait another 30 minutes. That “30 minutes” turned into almost 2 hours — we finally got our room keys at 4:55 PM. Very disappointing for a hotel of this standard, especially with no proactive updates in between. The Suite The room itself made up for the wait. It was a decent-sized suite with a separate hall area featuring a sofa, TV, dining table, and an open kitchen. The huge balcony with an open sea view was stunning. The bedroom was equally impressive — the bed was comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was the real highlight — a huge tub, a dedicated changing area, and a separate toilet section. The rain shower was mind-blowing. Pool, Beach & Amenities In the evening, we headed to the Fluid pool. The pool itself was lovely and the vibe was great. Drinks were on the pricier side, but given the location, it’s hard to complain too much. The private beach was clean, neat, and beautiful. It was quite hot during our visit, so we couldn’t spend as much time there as we would’ve liked. The Highlight Without a doubt, the best moment of our stay was watching the sunset from our bed, overlooking the sea. Absolutely beautiful — a moment we won’t forget. Overall: Despite the rocky start with check-in, the suite, the views, and the overall experience made it a memorable stay. Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort has real potential — they just need to sort out their front desk efficiency.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is my second review of The 8 Palm, and after my second stay, I can confidently say that this hotel has become my first choice in Dubai. The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, but what makes it truly special is the staff. Their kindness, respect, cooperation, and genuine care for guests make such a difference. You can feel that they truly want you to be happy and satisfied throughout your stay. A special thank you to Ali, the manager, for his personal attention and for making sure I was happy and satisfied during my vacation. A very special thank you to Thiha as well, for his continuous care, excellent service, and wonderful attitude. In my opinion, Thiha is one of those employees who gives the hotel an excellent image and reputation. 👌🏾 I would also like to thank Hiba, Kaddija, Sumaha, and all the other team members who made my stay even more enjoyable with their kindness and smiles. For me, the secret behind The 8 Palm’s success is not only the beautiful rooms, beach, or restaurant — it is the people behind the experience who give their best to make guests feel welcome and valued. This was my second visit, and it definitely won’t be my last. The housekeeping staff at this hotel truly made our stay. Every day our room was spotless, beds perfectly made, and towels folded so neatly it felt like a brand-new check-in each time. They were attentive to small details — fresh toiletries restocked without us even asking, and everything organized so thoughtfully. What really stood out was how respectful and discreet they were of our space and belongings. You could tell they take genuine pride in their work. A clean, comfortable room makes such a huge difference to a trip, and this team deserves real recognition for their hard work and care. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Ayman welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism. His hospitality and positive attitude made us feel truly valued. He went above and beyond his responsibilities, always ready to assist us and answer all our questions with patience, care, and enthusiasm. What truly distinguishes Mr. Ayman is his exceptional manner, his genuine concern for guests’ comfort, his prompt assistance, and his attention to every detail. He made us feel as though we were being cared for by a friend rather than simply being guests at a hotel. Thank you, Mr. Ayman, from the bottom of my heart, for everything you did for us. Our five-night family stay (Monday to Saturday) at TH8 Palm Jumeirah, booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary, was deeply disappointing. My family and I have stayed at numerous five-star hotels and resorts over the years, and this was the first time we have experienced this number of operational issues during a single stay. Upon arrival at the front desk, we did not feel welcomed. When we politely inquired about a high-floor room, we were told none were available because we had "arrived late." We were given a ground-floor room, where we found half of the living room curtain was missing, leaving our family without privacy from the outside. Although an anniversary cake had been placed inside the room earlier, the missing curtain had been overlooked. When we called guest services, we were informed the curtain was in the laundry, and a maintenance worker later came to install it while we were inside trying to settle our children. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the first room, reception was then able to offer us a high-floor room, despite having told us at check-in that none were available. However, this second room had been prepared for a "VIP guest" who did not arrive, and it still contained a personal welcome note addressed to another person along with uncovered food. When my husband brought the note to the front desk to mention the mix-up and the uncovered food, he was simply told, "you can eat it," rather than being offered fresh refreshments. Additionally, the room's air conditioning was not cooling properly, and the bathroom did not have the standing shower we had specifically booked. On Tuesday around midday, we followed up with the front desk regarding the promised room move. After viewing a recently vacated ground-floor room that offered convenient beach access for our children, we agreed to take it once cleaned. Staff asked us to pack our bags and assured us that while we were at the beach, the room would be prepared and our luggage moved by 6:00 PM. When we returned from the beach at 6:20 PM with wet, tired children, our bags had not been moved and the new room was not ready. We had to wait outside until 6:40 PM before getting access to the room. Because this delay pushed back our evening schedule, we asked if our half-board dinner could be served to our room as a courtesy, which was declined. We quickly got the children ready and went to the restaurant, where we were initially told, "we don't have a table for you," without being offered a waiting area or refreshments. After we went back to reception to raise the issue, a table was arranged after a 20-minute wait. Furthermore, the bedroom AC in our third room was not cooling the space, leaving the room very warm. Despite calling maintenance three separate times—and being told each time it would cool down within 10 minutes—the issue remained unresolved, and we slept in a warm room for the remainder of our stay until Saturday. At check-out, we were assisted by the same team member from check-in. We were not asked how our stay went, only told, "you're all set, you can go." As frequent guests of five-star properties, we found that this stay did not meet the standards of comfort, communication, or hospitality we expected for our family.
