I had a wonderful stay at The Dubai EDITION. The hotel is elegant, beautifully designed, and located in a great area. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and maintained to the highest standards. A special thank you to Mina and Fouad for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Their dedication to providing outstanding service truly reflects the high standards of the hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend The Dubai EDITION to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Dubai.

I had high expectations for this hotel, especially given the reputation of the Edition brand, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The staff were welcoming and polite, however, the level of service did not match what I would expect from a luxury hotel. We had deliveries arrive at the hotel that were left in the lobby without anyone informing us, which was inconvenient and unexpected. The in-room dining was also below standard and was one of the most disappointing room service experiences I’ve had despite staying at many hotels around the world. We booked one of the highest room categories to enjoy a premium experience, but the room itself was not up to standard. The carpet had visible stains, the room felt dark, and the bed linens did not smell fresh. Housekeeping was another major issue. After leaving the room for several hours, we returned to find it had not been serviced. We had to call multiple times before someone came, and even then, the towels were not replaced. There was the excessive noise throughout the night. Doors were constantly slamming, making it difficult to rest. We reported this, but unfortunately no action was taken to improve the situation. While the team was courteous, the overall service, housekeeping, and attention to guest experience fell far below the standard I associate with the Edition brand. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I left feeling disappointed.

This was not my first stay at The Dubai EDITION. I was well aware of its flaws from a previous visit, but I decided to give it a second chance primarily because I needed to be in Downtown. While there are positives, unfortunately, many things have not improved, and some actually surprised me negatively. The Positives: * Location: Strategic and convenient. It remains a strong selling point. * Staff: A definite improvement from my last visit. Everyone was present, cordial, and helpful. Housekeeping was also impeccable. * Style: The EDITION aesthetic is there, visually pleasing as always. The Negatives (Structural): * Soundproofing: Even on the 15th floor (unlike the lower floor I had last time), traffic noise is still clearly audible. * Wear & Tear: The furniture choices haven’t aged well; sofas and armchairs show clear signs of wear. * Design flaws: Small annoyances like the AC light being incredibly bright in the dark. The Negatives (Amenities & Standards): This is where I am baffled. For a 5-star hotel in a competitive market like Dubai, basic luxuries are missing: * Minibar: Empty unless requested. This is acceptable only if compensated with high-quality complimentary snacks, which were absent. * Coffee & Water: Plastic water bottles and low-quality coffee (not even Nespresso). Not up to par. * Linens: The towels were worn thin—threadbare. Unacceptable at this price point. * Comfort: Pillows were completely deflated and overused. * Check-in: My room wasn’t ready until 5:00 PM. Making guests wait this long is poor service. While structural issues are hard to fix, the lack of investment in "soft" products (towels, pillows, amenities) is surprising. I love the EDITION brand, but I am surprised Marriott doesn't intervene here to protect the brand's reputation.

Stayed at The Dubai EDITION and honestly everything was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and has such a calm luxurious vibe. The rooms were super clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The location is perfect as well, especially if you want to enjoy Downtown Dubai. Definitely one of the nicest hotel stays I’ve had and I would absolutely come back again.
