My recent stay at The Dubai EDITION was absolutely fantastic. Located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, it’s just steps away from the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, making it ideal for exploring the city. The hotel’s design is sleek and modern, with clean lines and a minimalist vibe that feels both luxurious and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the skyline. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or arrangements. The pool area was a standout feature—a serene oasis with comfortable loungers, lush greenery, and an infinity-edge design that provides breathtaking, unobstructed views directly across to the Burj Khalifa. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, whether soaking up the sun during the day or watching the tower light up at night. The ambiance is relaxing yet upscale, with attentive service bringing drinks and snacks right to your side. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone seeking refined luxury without excess. I’d highly recommend it and can’t wait to return! Five stars.

This was not my first stay at The Dubai EDITION. I was well aware of its flaws from a previous visit, but I decided to give it a second chance primarily because I needed to be in Downtown. While there are positives, unfortunately, many things have not improved, and some actually surprised me negatively. The Positives: * Location: Strategic and convenient. It remains a strong selling point. * Staff: A definite improvement from my last visit. Everyone was present, cordial, and helpful. Housekeeping was also impeccable. * Style: The EDITION aesthetic is there, visually pleasing as always. The Negatives (Structural): * Soundproofing: Even on the 15th floor (unlike the lower floor I had last time), traffic noise is still clearly audible. * Wear & Tear: The furniture choices haven’t aged well; sofas and armchairs show clear signs of wear. * Design flaws: Small annoyances like the AC light being incredibly bright in the dark. The Negatives (Amenities & Standards): This is where I am baffled. For a 5-star hotel in a competitive market like Dubai, basic luxuries are missing: * Minibar: Empty unless requested. This is acceptable only if compensated with high-quality complimentary snacks, which were absent. * Coffee & Water: Plastic water bottles and low-quality coffee (not even Nespresso). Not up to par. * Linens: The towels were worn thin—threadbare. Unacceptable at this price point. * Comfort: Pillows were completely deflated and overused. * Check-in: My room wasn’t ready until 5:00 PM. Making guests wait this long is poor service. While structural issues are hard to fix, the lack of investment in "soft" products (towels, pillows, amenities) is surprising. I love the EDITION brand, but I am surprised Marriott doesn't intervene here to protect the brand's reputation.

If you want to make your five-star stay in Dubai unnecessarily difficult, then the Dubai EDITION is the place to go. From the very first day, the experience started on the wrong foot. I was checked into an accessibility room without being informed of this in advance. I was simply told it was “a room without a bathtub.” Upon entering, it was clear that this was not a standard luxury room — the bathroom resembled a hospital setup, with no glass shower partition and an inadequate vanity unit, making the space uncomfortable and far from what one would expect from a premium hotel. Service issues continued on the second day. My room was supposed to be cleaned twice — once after check-in and again while I was out during the day. When I returned in the evening, I found multiple strands of hair of different colors in the toilet, clearly indicating that proper cleaning had not been carried out. I raised a complaint, but received no feedback or acknowledgment. The situation worsened when I requested access to the parking area to charge my electric vehicle. I was told that self-parking was not permitted. When I contacted Guest Relations and asked them to arrange for staff to charge my car, I was informed that hotel policy required the guest to charge their own vehicle. This made no sense since I was not allowed access to the parking. After further back-and-forth, I was finally told that the charger was actually out of service. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing stay. For a hotel that markets itself as five-star, the service, communication, and guest care felt closer to a two-star experience. I would not recommend the Dubai EDITION to anyone seeking comfort, professionalism, or true luxury hospitality.

I stayed at The Dubai EDITION. It is located near Dubai Mall, and the convenience of the location is a major advantage. It’s very easy to get around for sightseeing, shopping, and exploring the Downtown area, so there’s very little stress when it comes to transportation. The hotel itself is clean throughout and has a modern, sophisticated design. I stayed in a suite, and the view of Burj Khalifa from the room definitely added a special touch. The room had a calm and comfortable atmosphere, making it easy to relax. It’s not overly flashy, but rather a hotel that stands out for its sense of style and refinement. There are several restaurants inside the hotel, and the Japanese restaurant there is especially worth recommending. It’s a solid choice if you are looking for Japanese food in Dubai. Overall, the balance of location, cleanliness, and in-house facilities is good, making this a very convenient and comfortable hotel to stay at.

We had a fantastic stay at The Dubai EDITION. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Ahmed, who upgraded us to a lovely suite and was incredibly accommodating with all of our requests, it really made the stay feel extra special. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and everything felt calm, seamless, and well thought-out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it. Looking forward to staying again soon.
