The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

I adore this resort. It feels like a private oasis tucked away from the world, yet it is steps from downtown. We had a beautiful suite with a private courtyard, dining area, and pond. Wished we could have had one of the private pools, but they were all booked. The grounds are well kept. Staff is excellent. Very responsive and friendly. We were encouraged to attend at a temple ceremony and really felt included. Staff was so attentive. We were sick one day, and they went above and beyond, insisting on bringing fresh ginger tea and broths etc. Food was very very good. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning. The pool was lovely. Very clean and refreshing. Sunscreen and scented water sprays were always available. The resort is so quiet and because it isn't huge, there was never any problem getting a lounger. Enjoyed music and traditional dance performances on site. Truly an amazing resort.

All staff are nice and friendly. They try to make your stay comfortable. However, the smell in the rooms is very strong and not pleasant related to the bamboo and humidity. So if you are sensitive to smells I suggest to look for a different, more modern hotel. The beach is wonderful and breakfast was decent.

3rd time to Bali and this is by far the BEST place to stay. The service is first class, you are treated like royalty and the whole team are so friendly and accomodating. Makes it hard to go anywhere else because they set the benchmark. Central location, yet you still get the peace and tranquility that this resort provides. They go above and beyond at all parts of your stay. We stayed in the ocean view villas and they are the worth it, trust me! No high rise buildings or balconies, just exclusive villas in a beautiful setting. Thank you to all the Oberoi team who make your stay truly memorable!

Incredible stay at The Oberoi Seminyak. From check-in to check-out, no request was too much, the staff went above and beyond, including looking after my son’s food allergies with real care, and supporting us wonderfully when my kids were unwell during our stay. Mr Ptsudiana personally checked in on us to make sure everything was comfortable, and every team member - restaurants, housekeeping, concierge, was warm and genuinely helpful. Shout out to all Frangipani cafe staff including Mei, Listia and evening staff at Kura Kura! The property is stunning, beachfront, lush gardens, pool, spotless villas. Breakfast had a beautiful selection of dishes and drinks, and afternoon tea was a lovely daily touch. The Balinese dance performance was absolutely stunning. Range of kids activities at the hotel, with making/flying kites on the beach a favourite. The activities person went out of their way and bought us a handmade rindik (a traditional Balinese xylophone) to take home. The hospitality was truly second to none. We’ll be back!

My wife and I recently stayed at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali, and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived until the second we checked out, every single interaction with the staff was flawless—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. We stayed in a Luxury Garden View Lanai Room, which was absolute perfection. The room itself was beautifully appointed and serene, but the grounds surrounding it are the real showstopper. The lush, immaculate gardens immediately reminded me of certain stretches of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. Walking through the property each day was an absolute joy. A few other highlights that made our trip unforgettable: The Food: Breakfast every morning was completely on point. Fantastic variety, wonderful coffee, and top-tier service to start the day. The Spa: Do not skip the spa! We had an incredible treatment that left us feeling completely restored. It is rare for a resort to hit every single mark, but The Oberoi managed to do it effortlessly. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked our return trip for September.
