The Pyramid Cancun is an all-inclusive luxury resort with adult-only exclusive areas. There is great diversity of all-inclusive culinary options: gourmet restaurants, Mexican, Italian, Japanese, international, seafood, sushi, and snacks.

The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, served in a variety of restaurants. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

My wife and I stayed at The Pyramid at Grand Oasis in Cancun for spring break, and it exceeded every expectation. The energy and vibes here are absolutely incredible. As an all-inclusive resort, they give you absolutely no reason to leave. In fact, we stayed inside the property for three full days straight because there was so much to do. The crowd was super fun and lively, and the resort hosted non-stop activities that kept everyone entertained. The absolute highlight of our trip was an exciting Holi party right at the resort! It was such a vibrant, high-energy event and a fantastic surprise for a spring break trip. Between the great food, drinks, daily entertainment, and beautiful property, it was the perfect couples' getaway. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun, action-packed vacation in Cancun!

We came here the end of July as a family with three rooms for my birthday and my oldest daughter's birthday. It is advertising as an all inclusive resort. However, that's not entirely true and we ended up paying extra so we could have access to all of the restaurants and bars. They also advertise a lot of activities on their website ( which is why we chose this place) that they no longer offer and apparently have not offered for quite some time. When we first got to the resort, we left our baggages with the bellman to go check-in and wait for our rooms to be ready. When we returned to pick up our bags and head to our room. I noticed that my bag had been rifled through and so had my husband's. The staff in most of the resort was very rude and unhelpful, the rooms are incredibly outdated and need an upgrade and our shower flooded,we told them 4 days in a row they came to fix it 4 times or so they say and it was never actually fixed and continued to flood. The pool was incredibly hot and uncomfortable to even swim in because it didn't cool you off at all. The restaurant times are inaccurate, we went to three different restaurants. They stated that they closed at, let's say 10 o'clock. We would get there by 830/9 because the places would be packed prior to that, and they would already say they were closed, not taking any more people. So there was 3 nights that my family went without dinner at this "all inclusive " resort. The last night that we were there, we went to the only place that was still taking people, which was the one buffet and as we were standing in line waiting to get food, we saw a flying cockroach landing on the food. Needless to say, this was another night without dinner. Then, to top it off the day that we were checking out- 2 of our rooms were ready. And we were waiting on our third room to come downstairs. We wanted to put our luggage in the car and then come back in and go have breakfast. They refuse to let us leave and put our luggage in the car. They said that we had to check our luggage( did not feel comfortable doing this. Seeing how our stuff was looked through. When we first got there) and pay our bill before we could leave, which makes no sense because the bill was paid when we checked in and it's an all inclusive resort, or so they say, so how could one have a bill ? It was an extremely disappointing week for myself and the rest of my family. We definitely will not be staying at this property or the grand oasis cancun ever again.

I am giving 4 star because their food range for general restaurant is very limited people who eat chicken should not consider this resort as they have almost nothing or very less chicken here whereas the sea front room has bit outdated bathrooms whereas people who relay on elevator for wheel chair or baby stroller should not choose this hotel as other then the praymid itself building there is some stair you need to go up manually which is really painful bcz we compromise a bit to change room to praymid which has partial beach view but room are way better and good bathroom so that change workef best for us with one year baby. Within Pyramid Booking, you would have access to premium restaurants which were super good, especially Banazuza, Careyes, and Sakura, all of which required booking in advance. The staff was extremely good, and the fragrance at Pyramid was very good .Overall, not a bad experience as there were few other restaurants we were supposed to try, but we couldn't get much time. But Cafe del Mar has a good view outside and has a side pool down the seaside. The beaches are all the same in the resort, so that's Good. Overall satisfied, but if we had known some of these options beforehand, we might have planned better. But I'm okay with what I paid for it.

We had a great time here, very cozy and beautiful hotel. All Restaurants are great, food was amazing and fresh! You also can see many lizards in hotel, they are all very friendly and cute! Will come back again! Cheers

We stayed at The Grand Pyramid having booked a Pyramid Master Suite, which was supposed to grant us access to the Sian Ka'an Club and Café del Mar privileges. Unfortunately, the hotel completely ruins the guest experience due to a total lack of communication across all levels. ​The hotel issues you a black "Pyramid" wristband, but the staff (waiters, bartenders, front desk) are completely unaware that the Master Suite grants higher-tier privileges. As a result, you find yourself in an insufferable "gray area" where you constantly have to negotiate, argue, and justify your rights at every single turn (denied access to the Sian Ka'an pool on day 1, refused service at the bar on day 2, and Beach Club reservations via the concierge). It is completely pointless to offer perks if the visual wristband doesn't instantly validate them. Either give guests the correct wristband from the start, or don't offer the service at all. About 50% of the staff (reception, concierge, waiters) simply do not know the hotel's own rules. ​The low points of our stay: ​Café del Mar (Restaurant): Chaotic service. We were denied entry at 10:20 AM for a breakfast that closes at 10:30 AM after a completely nonsensical argument between two receptionists. On another day, our sweet dishes were served 30 minutes before our savory dishes. ​Café del Mar (Beach Club): A waiter promised on his full behalf (without us asking him)to reserve a beach bed for us on Friday with a complimentary bottle. On Friday, there was no reservation; the staff informed us that it is impossible to book through waiters. Unbelievable and misleading behavior. ​General Slackness: The dress codes at the Pyramid entrance and restaurants are completely ignored by guests, and there is absolutely no staff or security to enforce them. Even worse, guests are allowed to blast their own music on personal portable speakers around the pools and outdoor restaurants, which completely kills the hotel's standing and atmosphere. ​Facilities: The rooms and overall infrastructure are visibly aging and need a refresh. ​Laundry Service: Our laundry bag was forgotten on Thursday morning and was only picked up on Friday at 9:00 AM after we complained to the concierge. (Fortunately, they returned it clean by 2:00 PM, so it is efficient, but you shouldn't have to chase them down). ​Jungle Boat Tour: A complete scam. There is nothing "jungle" about it, we didn't see a single animal, and out of a 1.5-hour boat ride, we were only in nature for about 20 minutes. After 1 week of holidays (over the 11 days) our room access (on both bracelet) were removed, why ? Nobody knows problem solved in 5 minutes by going to the conciergerie again. ​The high points (what saved the stay): The food is absolutely excellent everywhere. The housekeeping staff is perfect and does an impeccable job. Lastly, while 50% of the staff was completely clueless, we did encounter a few individuals at reception and the concierge desk who were highly efficient and professional in resolving our issues. ​In short: great potential ruined by a severe lack of management and staff training.
