Renovations

The following pool renovations have been confirmed this year:

  • Del Mar (Infinity) Pool: From May 5th to May 31st. During these dates, the Club Experience service for The Retreat guests will be available at El Mirador
  • Cascade Pool: From June 8th to July 31st. During these dates, the Lagoon Pool and Persian Garden pool will remain available for Citadel guests

The Lagoon, Persian Garden, Palmera, Iraya and Tacande pools will not be affected by these pool renovations.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife. We stayed in the Imperial Suite, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were exceptionally well looked after. The level of service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional. The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views, perfect weather, stunning grounds, and an atmosphere that makes it easy to completely relax. The restaurants were excellent, and every meal we had during our stay was of a very high standard. We highly recommend Akira for incredible sushi and Mirador for the stunning views. A special thank you to Mr. João, who took outstanding care of us throughout our stay. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. He is a fantastic manager and a real credit to the hotel. Thank you to Olesya as well who was a big help during our stay. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. We will absolutely be returning and would highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife to anyone looking for a truly luxurious getaway.

Great resort to spend time with family. Great amount of options such as pools, play area for kids. Close proximity to beach with 30min frequency shttle from hotel. Great restaurants in the premise and a supermarket 5mins drive away. Service is not what you expect from Ritz Carlton but functional to large extent. In room dining and breakfast area teams are very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for a total of three nights and would happily return anytime. The hotel grounds as well as the rooms are very clean and well maintained. Our room was especially spacious, offering plenty of comfort, privacy, and peace. The entire staff was remarkably friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast and its wide variety of options. The spa area also has a lot to offer- although it’s a bit of a downside that there is an additional €30 fee per person to access it, it was definitely worth it. The interior design of the hotel is very tasteful and elegant. If you have a rental car, which I highly recommend for exploring the island, you can conveniently park it free of charge on the hotel premises. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Tenerife!

We had a fantastic stay at the Ritz-Carlton Abama in Tenerife with my family. We stayed in the Retreat area which has several pools just for that set of guests which was nice - even during Easter break there were always lounge chairs available. There were a huge number of restaurants and our favorites were the Italian one and the seafood one - both had excellent food and plenty of vegetarian options. The gym was good and the spa was excellent and I really enjoyed the hydrotherapy pools and facilities. The service overall was top notch which is hard for such a large hotel. The Retreat area has very good breakfasts and lovely views of the ocean from the terrace.
