⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Ultimate Life Experience at The Westin Phuket My stay at The Westin Phuket with my friend Amanjot was truly an ultimate life experience. We stayed for 2 nights, and every moment of the trip was memorable. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, excellent hospitality, and stunning views made the entire stay feel special. The resort has a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, the ambience was relaxing, and the overall property was absolutely beautiful. Waking up in such a peaceful environment and enjoying the breathtaking Phuket views was an experience I will always remember. What made the trip even more special was sharing it with my friend Amanjot. The two-night stay gave us some wonderful memories, great conversations, beautiful moments, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beauty of Phuket. The hospitality and service were impressive, and the entire experience felt luxurious without losing the warmth and comfort of a home away from home. It was not just a hotel stay—it was a beautiful experience that I will cherish for a long time. The Westin Phuket is definitely a place I would love to visit again. We had a mixed experience at The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa. Upon arrival, we were initially checked into a very dated, tired room. However, after we requested a change, the staff moved us to a quiet room in a different wing, which we appreciated. Curiously, the welcome amenity (a fruit platter) from our first room was never transferred to the new one a small detail, but a bit disappointing nonetheless. The resort itself is colossally tired and in dire need of a global renovation. You can see tiles falling apart, weathered woodwork, and general wear and tear everywhere; in fact, a few spots felt downright unsafe. On the positive side, the location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature and filled with local birdlife. However, you should note that the beach is completely unswimmable you will only be able to swim in the pools. As for the dining, the local restaurant left me confused. The burger was incredibly dry, and the Tom Yum soup tasted quite strange, which was disappointing given the price of around 700 THB per portion. On a brighter note, the breakfasts were quite good, and the service was pleasant the staff were always smiling and helpful. I truly hope management invests in a full renovation and launches a renewed version of the property. Right now, seeing such a beautiful location in this state is a bit of a sad sight.

What a wonderful and amazing stay at this resort. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and choice. The staff was exceptional and provided a top-notch services. There is nothing around, but it’s quiet and serene. The hotel is by the beach, so you can go down and swim.

I really wish the hotel staff can see this comment. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Westin in March and the stay was lovely. Thank you for the room upgrade and it was a huge room, more than enough with huge balconies. Also thank you for all the amenities like birthday cakes and all the flower pedal decoration was stunning. During the stay, my boyfriend wasn't feeling great but the hotel nurse took care of him and the front desk agent even remembered and ask if he is feeling better the next day since we cancelled the shuttle to Phuket Old Town because he wasn't feeling well. I really do appreciate every single staff there, they were all so kind. You made our trip really special.

Overview: The Westin Siray Bay is a property with immense potential, but it currently sits in a frustrating middle ground. While the bones of a five-star resort are there, the lack of basic maintenance makes it feel more like a low four-star experience. The Room & Maintenance: The rooms are impressively large and the layouts are great, but they are being let down by a lack of upkeep. It isn't just that the decor is "dated"—it’s that the finishings are neglected. We saw nicks in the walls, unpainted patches, and deteriorating grout. There was visible blackness and mold-like spotting around the tubs and sinks that really detracts from the luxury feel. It’s a shame because the rooms are actually kept very clean by the housekeeping staff; they just need a maintenance crew to spend a day on "touch-ups" to bring them back to life. When you’re paying five-star prices, you shouldn’t be able to look in any direction without seeing a needed repair. Facilities & Location: • The Views & Pools: Absolutely stunning. The cliffside location offers world-class vistas, and the multiple pools are a highlight of the stay. • The Beach: Be aware that the beach is rocky and tidal. It’s lovely to look at, but it isn’t a "swimming beach." It serves more as a beautiful backdrop than a place for water sports. • Location: One of the best perks is being so close to Phuket Town. It’s a short trip to get to the local restaurants and culture, which we really enjoyed. Dining & Vibe: The breakfast was a typical, standard buffet. It was fine, but didn't feel premium—the coffee, in particular, was not up to five-star standards. Also, note that this is a very family-heavy resort with a busy "Discovery Zone." If you are looking for a quiet, kid-free retreat, this might not be the spot for you. The Service: The standout feature is the people. The staff are incredibly kind and professional, providing the high level of service you’d expect in Thailand. Closing Thoughts: If management would invest in a simple, annual maintenance program for the grout and paint, this would be an incredible hotel. Right now, the service and views are carrying the weight of a building that needs a bit of love. Will update as we’ve only been here for 2 days out of 9 so far.
