Haven't been in years. The rooms are decent. Walls are a little thin. But very clean and nicely appointed. The entire resort is really nice. Many restaurant options from casual to great steakhouse. Plenty of seating for meetings. Great lobby bar. The pool and beach area close by. Fitness center is nice. The arcade is very unique as it has a bowling alley. The proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is fantastic. Transportation from bus and especially the water transportation is easy.

We had an awesome midweek stay with family at the Dolphin! We booked two nights so we could take our little one to Epcot and meet all the Disney Princesses. We wanted to be close to the theme park so we could get early entry and come back to the room for naptime, and wanted to take advantage of Bonvoy status. The location is perfect. I love the post-modern architecture of the hotels- so fun and kitschy with classy interiors. We visited three different restaurants there and had yummy meals, all with fast service (ideal for toddlers). The king room we booked is your standard 4 star hotel chain room that had a little bit of wear and tear if you looked closely, but had nice toiletries provided and a comfy bed and I appreciated that the bathroom had a real door (with a lock on it!) We could see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our bed at night which was a nice touch. Housekeeping service was great. The resort pools were beautiful. The temperature only got up to the 60s during our stay but the hot sun meant we could still splash around for a bit the last morning, and had the baby pool area to ourselves. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we come to Disney with our kid.

Its okay. Good walking location, and the gal who checked us in was awesome! She deserves a raise. But after that the rest was very meh to low end budget hotel. The lights in the hallway sounded like crickets, so loud. No staff to be found at the counter in the morning and valet had to be hunted down for them to take my car. Forget phoning down for your car, the phones where terrible and barely worked. Additionally the shower/tube left alot to be desired for the price and claims of this hotel. Pool was great, restaurants great but not sure we would stay here again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience was disappointing given the price of the hotel. Before arrival, I purchased the guaranteed early check-in option because we planned to decorate the room for a surprise before heading to the parks. While the staff ultimately got us into a room early, it was made clear there was no actual guarantee, which defeated the purpose of paying for the service and left us unable to confidently move forward with our plans. The luggage situation was equally frustrating. Our bags never arrived at the room after check-in. When we contacted Guest Services, the response felt dismissive and the blame was placed on us for not being in the room, despite the fact that we had checked in at the lobby and clearly communicated our plans. After spending the entire day in the parks, we finally returned to the room around midnight only to find a noticeable cigarette smoke odor. Whether it came from the room itself or a nearby room, it was not what we expected from a property at this price point. For the cost of staying here, I expected better service, better communication, and a more comfortable experience. The beds felt small, and overall the hospitality fell short of what I would expect from a Disney-area resort. Unfortunately, this stay did not live up to the reputation of the Swan and Dolphin.

Our stay this past weekend at the Dolphin Resort was unfortunately disappointing from the very beginning. We have stayed here together five times now, and each visit seems to leave us more frustrated than the last. The room was not as clean as we expected, the AC was not working properly, and the room smelled strongly of smoke, which made for a very uncomfortable stay. To make matters worse, this was my birthday weekend, with my actual birthday being Friday. My daughter had arranged for a bottle of wine to be delivered to our room as a special surprise, yet it never arrived. It wasn’t until my fiancé went downstairs the following day to ask about it that the wine “miraculously” showed up a few hours later. Housekeeping was also extremely underwhelming. Dirty glasses were left sitting on the table, and we had to specifically request clean replacements during the next scheduled cleaning. We also had to ask for additional towels because they were not replenished properly. Overall, the level of service and attention to detail continues to fall short every time we stay here. For a resort with the reputation and pricing of the Dolphin, we expected a much better experience, especially during a special birthday weekend.
